wait...so South America is gettin the longest, tallest, fastest non-launched full-circuit coaster in the world? AWESOME!! I've always wondered when South America would catch on with the coaster craze; because I just dont hear much about Latino Theme Parks. This should be a really exciting time for anyone who lives in South America and has been DYING for a good high-class theme park Hope construction and park permits/etc go smoothly!

^or...you could OD on Tylenol wasnt this topic about the Ravine Flyer construction? I watched it go from woodie inversions, to wheel tightness, to SLCs? not to be backseat mod or anything anyone got some more recent pics of the construction? I would LOVE to see how it looks

I think anything with past 150* banking/etc. constitutes an inversion. It'll sure feel like one though! I can just imagine slowly being chucked out of the seat as the car goes through the crown, that'll be a crazy sensation!

Wow there are so many slides attached onto the play structure I cant follow any of them! If there's anything that felt like it was missing at Holiday World when I went, a carousel and a water play-area were it. So the Koch's are right on the money with this expansion; they are on their way to becoming even more of a complete and ideal theme park! bravo!

All I had to read was "120* drop" and my mind went straight to "...ohhh yeeaaa" I hope this is one of those whacked out twisted coasters that looks like the love child of a Tornado and a coaster, and I'm thrilled that IB is getting this Rock on pile-up Theme Parks!

Uhh...YA. Give me a Caddy CTS-V and an hour of the 'ring and I'll have WAY more of a good time than on a coaster. For anyone who knows what a CTS-V is, and if you agree it is the shiz, give yourself five stars

^umm...yea kinda. Credits = bragging rights. In the short run they dont count much; but when you get to the point where you can say "I've ridden all the Boomerangs in the world!" or, in Elissa's case "Ive ridden all the Vekoma GIANT Boomerangs!! I have all 4! ha haha haha ha!", htne it becomes a big deal. It's a TPR thing, you'll come to understand it

and the award for most well-placed attraction goes too... really though, I like how Evel Kinevel (sp?) is placed amongst a trove of small rides. There was a motor-car track I saw making one of the boundaries of the ride, and there's also bumper cars and a log flume surrounding it. I think that would make a very nostalgic image, seeing a grandiose wooden coaster amongst a bund of family rides...reminds me of something I would do in RCT3...

This TR makes me miss Hersheypark soo much... I hope I can make it out one more time before the season winds down. I bet with all the leaves turning colors it looks GORGEOUS. You took some really good pictures, too. Nice TR!

Hooray! I echo Robb in that I'm happy the trove of rides at Geauga Lake are starting to be divided up amongst the rest of the parks. Hmmm...what other park was closed down recently that should have done a number like this...rather than just letting all the rides at the park rot...You people in Houston have any ideas?

I like how the pullout of the immelman curves more away from the base of the drop, so theres more banking at the bottom. Does anyone know any info of the name?

My homepark is SF St. Louis. We went 7 years before we got a new coaster, and that coaster was... Tony Hawk's Big Spin. Plus, SFOT got a lot more flats in those in-between years than SFSTL got. We got Excaliber, S:TOP, and that's about it! We still don't have a hyper. Our Schwarzkopf was taken out years ago. So you guys don't have it *too* rough. . Y'all are about to get a new GCI (rumoured), so you and peeps in DFW are on the same page. umm...Mine Train was the first of its kind...it cant be a clone, and whats Runaway Mountain a clone of? I dont wanna step on anyones toes or shut peoples opinions down, but getting a new THBS is NOT a dumb decision. SFFT and SFoT are 5 HOURS away from each other. Thats a long time to travel! people in San Antonio/Austin are waay more likely to goto SFFT than people in the DFW area. Right now SF has Texas totally covered for the most part; and even if there are clones 5 hours down the road from each other, you have to remember, the general public doesnt care! (for the most part...) They'll just be happy to take their family out to a park and enjoy themselves on the newest ride. And its not like spinners give the EXACT same ride EVERY time. I think everyone just has to chill out, take an optimism pill, look at a couple kittens, and take a new approach on this. And if y'all still arent satisfied, hold out for 2011 when SFoT has its 50th...they HAVE to get something big then (rocket coaster over by Titan anyone?)

YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! About time SFoT got a new coaster. I've heard rumors over on Screamscape that this one might be a new layout for a spinner, different from the ones @ SFSL and SFFT. Supposedly it might be smaller, but anything unique is still good... Now if they would hack away that demon of a boomerang we'd be in business...
