  1. I've always waondered if there were any theme parks in South America that actually have major rides and such. Xetul and Avalancha satisfies my wondering! I'm glad that even in relatively 3rd world areas of the world there are theme parks with major thrills and the like...it warms my heart Great photos of a gorgeous park!
  2. I believe the song is High School Never Ends by Bowling for Soup This is probably my favorite segment from the whole DVD, Indiana Beach was just such a hoot I had a better time there than I did prob at any other park on the trip!
  3. Not everyone wants to go on slides all day long. Lazy rivers are a good way to cool down without having to wait in long lines for a 20 second thrill. And all gods children said AMEN I'm a big fan of Lazy rivers. Besides bein a way to relax, they kick the S out of walking around a waterpark to get to different rides. Hurricane Harbor in Dallas, TX has their river placed PERFECTLY with stops a stones throw away from all the major slide towers...pure bliss. If this is realy the fastest (lazy) river in the world, there might be a problem with makin sure small children or people who cant swim dont like get sucked under the current and die...that wouldnt be good...nope. Should be interesting how Mt.O goes about ensuring safety...
  4. OH EM GEE GUYZ ITS LIKE FREAKING DAVINCI CODE!!!1!!11!11!!!! No but seriosuly, Hersheypark has outdone itself as far as I'm concerned. The ride was already amazing looking, but doing all these puzzles and starting up "Nantimi" to toy with us is really great. They have ALOT of free time on their hands in Hershey!
  5. Now, as a courtesy measure, you should do Baby TTD! But seriously? That was probably the cutest things ive ever seen done with a toddler!
  6. ^^^ SHUN THE NONBELIEVER!!! shhhhhhuuuuuuuuunnnnnnah I gotta say, I think Maverick is better because while Top Thril Dragster is crazy insane and whacked out and awesome, its a one-trick pony in my book. Maverick has speed, airtime, inversions, and everything else a coaster needs to be good.
  7. If roller coasters make you sick, you dont belong on this site! joke> I dont necesarily get sick on rides, but on the pull-out of most B:TR clones, I will white out and remain white'd out until the break between inversion sets. I've never actually completely black/white'd out, but for a moment or so I'll just be extremely disoriented. My friends who have seen me white out say I look like I'm on a mean acid trip!
  8. ...you get aroused by coasters testing ...airtime is better than sex to you ...thats all i got...
  9. Ok Jahan, we ALL know you just wanted to take a picture of yourself and put it on here! I really hope that SFMM manages to pull out of its little hole (if there is one...). With its superb ride collection and great thrillseeker environment, if they could up operations and mix more family fun in they would be a smash hit again.
  10. Wow...was it really? This park must be really, Really, REALLY awesome I HAVE to go there! btw, nice TR, Lou
  11. I SO shouldave flown out of Indianapolis(?) with you guys, I wanted White Castle too... Oh well, that video gave me a kick, so I'm happy
  12. Silly Chris taking photos of hott Japanese girls...that is SO typical... This is a great report, Lou, makes me wish I did more trips this past summer.
  13. I think I'm in love... WHY does this have to be in such a far off place?! Anheuser Busch! Take note of the beautiful scenery! Make Busch Island something similar! Please?
  14. Wow, that was a quick return...thank you I'm sorry I crushed you on Thunderbolt....The second time I rode it I rode with the DILF, and I was inherently squeezed into Oblivion (no offense to Mr. Radford, but that ride can be lethal). Thats such a fun ride, except for the half-way to death penalty part.
  15. Hey Jahan, how about an update? That nostalgic "I miss the midwest" feeling is wearing off...
  16. I remember your closing day CP photo TR! Those were some amazing pictures, and these are just as good! I love all the onride reactions you captured, those are my favorites, especially the family on Power Tower, @ that little boys reaction... thats a look of true terror. Between you & Hanno, we have some SERIOUSLY good photographers on TPR.
  17. I remember a few years ago, I was at the Reunion Tower for 4th of July (those familiar at all with Dallas will understand me), and the Trinity Fair was right below us. I looked down and it was just a MASS of people, it didnt even look like anyone was moving. That is probably as close to hell-crowd as I've ever seen I'd say most rides with the exception of the (mini) mine train, B:TR if you've been on another, Flashback, and Texas Giant if you dont like rough wood are worth the wait; but thats just me lovin my SFOT I'm goin sometime in mid-June, and I'll be sure to take photos.
  18. That would be me Cedar Point was one of my more favored park experiences. Yes, the rain sucked unbelievable, but I look back at it and laugh about how funny the whole situation was, and thats a memory I wont soon forget. It was pretty awesome how I got evac'd off Maverick, but by that point I said "F it" and went about getting other credits in the park. I never did get on Magnum or Iron Dragon. Oh well...I can live without those! aww...he doesnt love them back... LOL, Dane is able to connect with the insects of Cedar Point! They love him!
  19. Duuuuude ...I LOVE how that lift looks. Is it going to be enclosed in a (glass) tube? I bet this creates alot of hype for Universal, I cant wait for the renderings of the actual coaster!
  20. dude woah...a good picture of me got in there somewhere I miss my blonde hair... I definately wished SFGAm was better than it was. But with the crowds, rain, and not-so-great-as-I-thought rides, it just wasnt as high a point as I hope it was going to be. Viper and V2 were still awesome, but I just wished the experience was better...oh well great photos, Jahan!
  21. "my taco is bigger than your hotdog" "thats what she said..."
  22. that is possibly the SHORTEST ride ever... I probably should have expected that, but a few bunny hills or a helix would have been nice... Oh well, still a cool ride!
  23. Happy Birthday Elissa! How old are you now...20? really though; Have FUN today! A picture to make you smile
  24. Umm...he proved that awhile ago with all the statue photos I have to say, I kind of agree with what you said about Mt. O. It is a great park, yes, but besides the 4 woodies, go-karts (on which some dumb chick t-boned me, I was winning too....), the waterpark, and the hott Greek chicks serving gyros...thats it! I think it needs to have a more completed repertoir in order to legitimately recieve the hype it does That being said, I still had a GREAT time! I love thunderstorms, and that one was sick nasty awesome! except for the whole zappin' Avalanche... again, great TR Jahan!
