  1. "I got you a flower!" "DIE! DIE! DIE!" story of Chris's life...how tragic seriously though, that was a good video, cant wait to see some from the midwest!
  2. Tibidabo is the highest point in Barcelona? I did not know that (atleast, thats what Vekoma says) I've always wondered what the deal was with this ride. I'm happy its finally being built, even if it was after TPR came. Oh well, atleast they got to enjoy the plane on a stick!
  3. Japantics...hahaha Were those pictures of Tokyo? my guess would be...yea. That city looks like it would be so cool to live in, but I'd just be so overwhelmed by how much there is there, and how large it is. I could probably go my entire life living in Tokyo and not see every end of it, that is truly stunning. But yea, Japan looks cool
  4. ^^^^Bahahahaha My only question is what is it about GIBs that make them so prone to break downs? Is it the vertical lift mechanisms? Is it the catch-car on the reverse spike? Did Vekoma just goof on the first 3 they built and thats why Stunt Fall is good? I'm sure if they just got the formula right and made these have more than >1% reliability they'd be a smash hit. When I went on one I thought it was the coolest thing! Maybe Silverwood will use that magic touch and put everything together carefully so that nothing creates more problems than it needs to.
  5. It just blows my mind how supermassive Dubailand will be when it is finished. It looks like it would be a park out of a dream of mine, but I cant believe that all of everything that was in the model is going to actually be built and running within my lifetime. Management in Dubailand is going to have to be like 12-star, theres going to be so much going on all the time the man in charge is going to need to have nerves of steel just to keep the park under control! (Just my opinion) Heres to Dubailand having a successful construction process and an even more successful Attraction when it is finished
  6. I think primers are a red hue actually... Anyways, movin off the CF hate; does anyone have any recent construction photos? Is the clearing still just a clearing, or has foundation laying started?
  7. The statues launched a counter attack? I know what it was moving right along... As long as there aren't like Octoberfest style beer vendors that line all up and down the midway, I have no complaint against this. However, I hope park security will be able to crack down on the inevitable drunks that start to cause problems in the park; it isn't so much that beer makes family parks fail by their definition as it is people who drink beer excessively! Not that anyone ever gets drunk at theme parks anyways...
  8. Thats totally about as boring as intamin track can get, but still "mmmmm....intamin..." Just a prelude to whats to come @ Hershey! Cant wait to see more construction pics...
  9. I have but two words that should be known as the greatest coaster of all time: MEAN STREAK [/sarcasm] To me it'd have to come down to either...well honestly I'd have to ride every coaster on earth to make an accurate decision...
  10. I really have no predisposition to an opinion on the matter, as I'm neither old enough to have kids nor know the problems kids pose at restaraunts; but in my experience with dealing with children in other areas of life I think this is a good decision. My only question now is what do parents who want a formal dinner do with their children? Will they set up some kind of Daycare dinner area for kids? I'm thinking a Ratatouille themed bistro or something...
  11. mmmmmm....steak n shake....side by side milkshakes....mmmmmm oh dammit now I miss steak n shake! If it wasnt for the rain SFGAm couldave been a very good experience for me. Heck, the ERT I experienced there was awesome! But then the rain came, and went, but by the time it went, we were on our way out of the park...
  12. I've always wanted to go on this... Oh well, maybe it'll be a part of the Chevy Cobalt I buy myself! not so likely... I'm sure that the GMs already have ideas of what they want to go into that spot. Thrilling (or not so much) rides are able to fit onto less and less space now and days. Skyhawk at Cedar Point, if I can remember correctly, doesnt take up much more than 20 sq. yards of space, give or take. And thats the largest one of its kind! If they want another coaster, maybe Gertslauer will squeeze in a custom spinner with the same Tony Hawk themeing as is going in every other Six Flags park. I'm interested to see what will go into that space. Its always exciting when usually jam-packed parks gets free space
  13. 7 / 10 I got Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea mixed up...
  14. Spain looks like it was alot of fun, Its times like these, when everyone brings back memories of all the fun trips that went on over the summer, that make me think "I have GOT to do another one of these..." Wow, I wonder how hammered Chris was in those last few photos,
  15. God Tokyo Disneyland looks cool...Im willin to say all the characters were women...even the couples...thats a bit kinky "Evil Witch is texting Snow White" BAHAHAHAHA!!!
  16. 1. I know who the sponsor is! But I wont say, lest I ruin the fun for everyone else. 2. I may be culturally incorrect, but I think everyone left the park to go for a siesta (big long snooze in the middle of the day). Hmm, I bet Latin American parks can prove to be quite accessible during siesta...no crowds!
  17. oh I REALLY wanna goto Europe...this thing looks insane! I wonder if this is going to catch on like Intamin Woodies have. If we have two different coaster companies runnin around with PnP woodies available, well the world just might be a better place!
  18. wow...that looks RAVISHING. I totally have reason to join in on a Tokyo-Korea trip now! except maybe not...because i am poor anyways, that looks like so much track! I bet this coaster will be the one that makes every other park GM say "damn...we need one of those..." PnPs are hopefully to be the new SLCs! except minus the pain
  19. Am I the only one that thinks this doesnt look too terribly bad? sure, capacity might be a bit sucky, but It still looks like a cool design. Maybe they'll configure it to dual loading stations, that'll increase capacity.
  20. ok, I'm sorry; but does anyone else find the name "Wild Wedgie" to be wildly funny? Sorry, had to put that out there... Looks like a good idea. I bet these are cheap and low maintenance. I wonder why they havent caught on with smaller-scale water parks? Like maybe putting one in a really ritzy country club or a big public pool or etc. I'm sure there are alot less ways for people to get hurt or fall off them then again...maybe not
  21. I like B&M because it is very traditionalist; none of this 400ft launch nonsense (not that I dont love TTD/KK, Im just tryin to make a point). B&M has used one formula and stuck with it through thick and thin: they only build coasters with lift hills, and they only build steel coasters. They've only ever done launched coasters once. That makes me believe that in spite of all the new launched coasters that are coming out from Gertsl and Maurer and all them others, B&M will still stick to original coaster roots and keep its same formula. The fact that they built Griffon and Raptor and all them others are amazing had no affect in my choice
  22. oh thank GOD. When i heard this news, a small knife went through my heart; but since they;ve assured us the park will keep its charm, that makes things a little better as long as they dont get rid of the Potato Patch, and as long as they DO get rid of that mediocre dancing show!
  23. Ok, sorry if this is out of place, but I'm SO caught up in the moment: I GOT ACCEPTED TO OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY IN NORFOLK, VIRGINIA!!!!!!! I'm goin to college!!!
