Aqua Teen Hunger BOMB!!!!!!!!!!
BiCoastal Kid replied to Neogreeneyez's topic in Random, Random, Random
please, please explain to us how you think this reaction is stupid? i prefer our gov. and police to think everything is bomb first than have anything happen. its the post 9/11 world and i sure dont want to relive another day like that again... not everyone is in the know on tv shows or things like that. Lite-Brites being bombs was just as big of a threat before the attacks as they are now. The only difference is that people are now overtly and pointlessly scared of everything, when logically they should have been just as scared all along. There are no more belligerent people in the world now then there has ever been(per capita), and one attack is not going to make everything dangerous; it's just the fact that people actually think about it now instead of not giving a damn like they did before. So maybe everybody should change "post 9/11" to "post not-giving-a-crap." The reaction to this is ridiculous. All that had to be done was have it announced "Oh, it was just an advertising joke. LOL" instead "Yeah, we have no sense of humor, life is 110% serious in Boston and we will not let our citizens be joked with." Seriously, if a terrorist was going to plant a bomb ON A BRIDGE, I don't think they'd make it obvious. The only times things are made obvious is when somebody is going for pure shock. You dont plant a bright shiny bomb and have everybody get all "WHAT IS THAT???" and then go "Oh, yeah. by the way: BOOM." No, you just plant it discreetly and then blow it up and sit back and watch as everybody tries to figure out what the hell is going on. It creates much more disarray. If people know about it, they can prepare for it, and thus the grieving process is a shorter. People aren't as impacted by what they can anticipate, it's when something big happens like the WTC attacks OUT OF THE BLUE that really gets to people. Just like if you're IN a fight, you can keep doing after getting hit, but if somebody just walks up and decks you you're gonna be sitting down for a bit. -
Politically Incorrect Coaster Names
BiCoastal Kid replied to Millenniumguy's topic in Random, Random, Random
Your point being? I mean, I could be wrong, but last time I checked Tornadoes/Twisters, Hurricanes, Lighting, Thunder, Storms, bullets, rockets, and guns are around all the time and I don't see all of those being renamed. -
Who's in Favor of School Dress Codes?
BiCoastal Kid replied to Shavethewhales's topic in Random, Random, Random
I think the only time dress codes should come into play is to enforce decency. I could care less what somebody has on their shirt, or if it's tucked in, or what color or anything. That's not distracting or "influencing," but I do find it rude when girls try to wear nothing, or guys pants arent above their butts. I don't think worrying about if a kid gets offended or not is the school's job. -
Today I _______ for the first time.

I listened to the new Arcade Fire album for the first time, in its complete form, today. Fave. -
It is just you. Here's the definition of word "pride", and it has nothing to do with warranting merit or accolade, but more of expression of self-esteem. All kidding aside, no biggie, many think of the word "pride" just as you described, it runs along the lines of people mis-using other words, such as the word "hero". (Don't get me started on that one.) Okay. Merit, as defined by dictionary.com : http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/merit

Your entire layout is too spread out, and low. The last top hat is rather tight and a good 50 feet in the air to begin with. -
Because it's KC.

What's up with the Polar White DS Lite?
BiCoastal Kid replied to Golfie's topic in Random, Random, Random
I noticed the lack of DS in general. I only saw on pink one at the Target there and that's about it. -
Saddam to Hang for war crimes
BiCoastal Kid replied to Masked_Maverick's topic in Random, Random, Random
I hope they impeach him finally. If for no other reason, I would have to say that BLATANTLY disregarding the opinions of both a war council and, not to mention, basically the entirety of the American populous is pretty good ground for kicking a REPRESENTATIVE out of office, since he isn't representing anybody except his own desires any longer. This is what I've always disliked about Bush. He's always done what he wants to do, even if it's against the opinion of the UN or the people or everybody else. Now it's just easier to see since he is doing it "just because." Before he had excuses like terrorism and weapons to back his decisions. Now he's not even trying to come up with a reason for the people, he's just doing it and telling us to accept it and that is BULL SH!T. He's reached a level of pomp that I find intolerable. -
^Yeah, see, the only times my phone really eats up battery is when there's no service and it tries to connect. However, I can talk on the phone for HOURS and HOURS and not have to worry about recharging.
-
My dad and I are both on a 600 minute plan, with free night time calls. That and our minutes roll over, so in total we have basically enough minutes to not have to worry about it.

I like my phones to be phones. That being said, there are other phones that have basically everything the iPhone has, but they don't have a touch screen. I'll keep my flip phone and wait for the rumored full-front iPod, instead. No, I lied, I'm just gonna get a regular 80gig iPod. Also, just another note. 5 hours talking on the battery? I've had single calls last longer than that, I don't want to to have to plug it in in the middle.

It wasnt so much the music, but the editing and shots didnt fit the music. The two really have to go together. -

That prroves it, i can go nowhere wihtout somone somehow spoiling somthing about the plot of Wicked. Seriously, by March, im not even sure if i should even bother going to the show! Somone will probably chain me down and read the book to me against my will by then. Im confused abot what kind of restarints thins coaster will have? What would "lap/leg" restraints" be? Um, I know the entire plot, all the songs, and still haven't seen the show. Yet, I still want to. Amazing.... -
