  1. gregg, I'm surprised you didn't say this, and it would be arguably fitting in the list but.... Rush???
  2. We aim to please.
  3. Just a few notes: -LOL -LOL again -Somebody else reads Soemthing Positive! -Ever the hell since when are dragons supposed to be funny? I mean, yes, I too get a good laugh from de-fleshing those who lack proper protection from my AWESOME claws and PENETRATING fangs, but really, who am I to relate? -You could have atleast gotten time-rifted by something better, like God. Somebody may actually listen to you, then. "I believe I was God in a past life. This means that I was either Alexander the Great, Egyptian, or I died as God, thus ending the universe, and brought back the universe again because, well, I'm GOD. Hi." That sounds much more convincing. And about the elf guy, I have the unfightable urge to link this. http://myspace.com/paradekid
  4. Kill Bill Kiddo - "My Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" *little does she know, Robb has her in Mexico.
  5. They're in the polls for "Which band will be forgotten quickest?" and "Which band is infinitely less good/talented than any bands in this poll?"
  6. You don't have to be a prophet to see what really goes on during the trips. I'm sure they've both ridden it both in the front and the back. It only takes two to do each, and there conveniently happens to be TWO of them... do the math, I know I did.
  7. Ed, you look like a non-green-spandex Peter Pan.
  8. For me it came down to either Zeppelin or The Beatles.... but Zeppelin won just because I think Zeppelin has a little bit more range than The Beatles.
  9. Well then maybe the employees being subjugated should say something.
  10. Hello, there are positions face to face, thanks.
  11. Metal Gear Solid 4 Gran Turismo Medal of Honor: Airborne new Splinter Cell new Turok Armored Core Call of Duty 3 Those few comming out next year I believe make the PS3 worht it alone, in my opinion. Along with all the other promising titles, I don't see why people are bitiching.
  12. THis is the lovely site Elissa got when her child was conceived. Think about that for a second.
  13. I learned(this week): -My math teacher is awesome outside of school. -I can make my APLit teacher laugh at inappropriate things if they're placed in a work of literature. -The antiderivitive of dx is x+c - int x[]=new int[3]; is not two dimensional, nor can you alter its length. -I learned how they compare DNA.
  14. yeahi, HALO.
  15. Just a comment. You dont need the brake in the midle of your switchbacks when there are only 2 of them.
  16. I still say the only problem with PS3 is there isn't enough of them. Being a relative gamer, and friend of many gamers, Ill say that the gamer community has a bad habit of critiquing things beyond what they should be. Im not surprised that a lot of gamers are coaster enthusiats because enthusiasts do the same dman thing. "OMG Sony cant let you swoosh your arm around like a sword!! it sucks so bad"! Translation: "I'm a cheap and lazy tool who wants the facade of being a hardcore gamer, but isn't willing to do hardcore things to be able to game." If I had the money, trust me I would have bought the PS3. I would have camped out and bought the PS3. But I dont so that was a limiting agent. The same thing with the Wii, if I wasn't constantly broke, it would've ben mine. If I had the money I would've camped out for both. Both of them offer the same value to me, they just appraoched their evolutions from different angels. The Wii altered the actual gameplay style, where PS3 updated the quality of the gameplay presentation. PS3 went for specs, Wii went for involvement. And, although I prefer the Wii, I will admit that I think in the long run PS3 will do better. While the novelty of the Wii control system is awesome, it is just a novelty, and once that sinks in and people become accustomed to it, they'll start preferring the over-all better quality(and quantity) of the PS3. Not to be super nerdy, but compare it to coasters. There are big launched super-insane innovative rides like TTD and X, but a solid, well-done out & back still beats them. There's nothing that innovative about SRoS, is there? But it's just done so well it ranks the highest. Mona Lisa: simple painting, but the technique is flawless. PS3: same general concept, taken to a whole other level.
  17. I think I'm the only person who actually got this....
  18. Largest doesn't mean strongest. There are more stable nations out there, we just cover up our faults with heavy spending.
  19. THis thread is inferior.
  20. I'll let Wes make fun of you for talking about MTV, but Im gonna say this: Green Day's album didn't say anything that hadn't been said before, and it didn't do anything musically that wasn't tested and true. All the views and ideas presented were very surface-level, and popular views. People act as if nobody had ever said anything in music about Iraq, the media, and politics before Green Day wrote their *brilliant?* "rock opera." The thing that made Green Day stand out certainly wasn't their talent, it was their fame. Green Day had major-label backing, so it got to more people easier. People, mostly, are very superficial about their music and won't go out of their way to find music. They need it hand fed to them. Minimal searching would find you recent artists talking about recent events. Minimal searching could find you a more deserving album than American Idiot for best rock album of the year for that year, too. It's sad that even the Grammy's have become more image than art based. At least the Oscars reward deserving films, otherwise movies like Fast and the Furious would actually win stuff, and that would just be stupid. Yes, Green Day == Fast and the Furious.
  21. My bf is camping out waiting for ps3.... granted, he only started today sio it's not as bad the guy thats been there since tuesday night. I went to visit him for moral support.
  22. I'll just get the trackwork out of the way. It does pump, and there were some jerks in it, but overall it was fairly smooth. Maybe the tracksmoother could have helped a couple parts. I noticed you AHG's one part, which is okay but you should REALLY avoid tranfering from AHg-track to non-AHG-track on any type of 3d curve. Also, there was a part where the supports came up through the track. I didn't check, but this either due to you banking that after you supported, or using the relroll feature. WoodMagic doesnt recognize comparative banking on relroll sections so it wont bank to the correct numbers there. There were other bad collisions around the course that could have ben easily avoided. Other than that I did really enjoy the layout! It was fast, fun, unpredicatable, and the tunnels(although with the terrain through them ) really added to that. The drop of the brakes was really fun and the pace stayed up even after that being braked so heavily. The actual expericane of the ride is really great, it's just the technical aspects that need a lot of work. other than that I would just comment on the terrain which I think is a bit extreme and COULD be done a bit more realistically by just lowering the surrounding terrain some.
  23. Just because people watch it doesn't necessarily mean it should be made.
