Good Eating Outside of Theme Parks
Jew replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'll add Portillo's to the list for Knott's Berry Farm. One of only two in CA of this famous Chicago chain happens to be in the Buena Park Mall right across from Knott's. Fantastic hot dogs! And fries! And shakes! -
That's the darkside of the "locker room culture." It probably did appear like they were best friends, since it sounds like he was basically pretending to take all the "jokes" as jokes, when it was actually upsetting him quite a bit. Offensive linemen are always supposed to be the tightest group on the team.

Stanford basically punched Oregon in the gut and they had no idea how to respond. No adjustments on offense or defense (how many times did they do the power rush formation??). I guess they got what they deserved for D'anthony Thomas saying they would hang 40 on Oregon... Now it's time for USC to return the favor to Stanford for all those recent losses and upsets...

That's progress at least... Wouldn't be surprised if an auction for the rest of the parks equipment is forthcoming. -

I approve of this! -
*bump* It wouldn't be a college football season without Oregon choking…so much so that Phil Knight was on the Alabama sideline.

I liked the renovation, except for the fact the place now has an identity crisis---they brought it up to "mid tier" levels and tried to charge "mid tier" rates, but at the end of the day it is still the Tropicana and can't ever have a chance of competing with the MGM monopoly on that section of the strip.

Not sure how I feel about a 200ft+ elevator lift. Hope it is reliable! The stats of the ride are definitely intriguing though…guess I will save a visit to Lagoon until this opens now! -
This probably explains (in part) why the Dolphin's offensive line is so terrible. They are clearly not on the same page...

That report is exactly what I expected to be the case: operators did their job according to the SOP, but something may have been wrong with the sensor/they still should have used better judgement. -
Lo-Q to complete change over after buyout

I definitely think the combining of products is going to beneficial for them in the long run. Makes them a one-stop shop for everything! -
^That actually seems like a good way to describe him. I don't think he actually sets out to be a douche, but he clearly doesn't realize where to draw the line between fun and "WTF are you doing?!?"

Bremen Carnival: Freimarkt 2013

They are! I think the biggest difference is the business model: here our fairs generally contract out the entire midway to one company (there are a few exceptions, most notably del mar), while European fairs are all independent and have to compete for their business! -
That's why I said it reminds me of the "code red." They're closing ranks because the attempt to "toughen him up" went way too far.
