  1. I didn't realize SFMM had fire as part of Fright Fest. Fire makes anything better!
  2. I really hope that part of the Camp Snoopy overhaul includes bringing back the bridges and what not that were connected to the cave area. Running around that area was one of my favorite things as a kid.
  3. Watching a launch is on my bucket list. Very cool you got to do that and tour the VAB!
  4. ^^ASU controls the PAC-12 South at the moment. They need to lose both their games (very possible with UCLA and their rivalry game with UoA) and USC needs to win out in order for USC to win the South and play Oregon in the championship game. But...it might be better if USC and ASU win out: USC only needs to be in the top-14 to get a BCS bid, so a bowl game might be tempted to take them after ASU most likely loses to Oregon in the championship game.
  5. ^I wonder if something happened behind the scenes with the bankruptcy?
  6. ^That's exactly it. Those are just Faller models.
  7. That's 3 different ride ops and a supervisor who don't know what they are talking about. The end.
  8. The NFL is the only league that can really back up the talk about "parity." Seems like every single year at least half of the playoff teams from the year prior fail to repeat.
  9. I thought that too, but 3 ops saying it's a CA law and knowing how reliable ride ops are I asked a different ride sup if it was a new Six Flags policy and she said unfortunately it's a CA policy so I would expect them on Disney rides as well as Manta at Sea World, the rides at Discovery Kingdom and the small parks. Well see though but it wouldnt surprise me considering how crazy CA is. It's not California law. The end. Please do some research on California Assembly Bill 850. That's the ONLY law that governs amusement rides in California.
  10. I know you mean well, but for future reference, please do not e-mail manufacturers asking for information on rides. They will announce projects and developments as soon as allowed.
  11. The parking garage would cost more than the ride...they are surprisingly not cheap to build. They could do a lot to mitigate the noise the ride and its passengers create, but there is nothing they can do about the incidental noise created: stuff like maintenance work, carts driving by, cleaning, etc. That's actually what the neighbors don't like---I have heard that the majority of the complaints currently come from the parking lots, due to guests and employees making noise and creating issues with the neighboring houses. If they are going to expand into any parking lot, it would be the hotel lot.
  12. Alright, I guess it finally time for me to give this park some credit: good first year investments. Hope it lasts.
  13. ^I'm guessing the neighbors whose houses are right next to the parking lots on the other side of the streets would not be too happy about that.
  14. Told you so!!! Fight On!!! Suck it, trees!
  15. Props to the park for recognizing the importance of the ride and wanting to bring it back to it's old form.
  16. I'm not expecting anything big. But their marketing department sure is doing a good job keeping people hooked...
  17. A lot of people smarter than any one of us on this forum get paid a lot more money than us to figure out things like how a big roller coaster could fit into KBF (should they chose to go that route). It can and will be done if they want it to happen.
  18. Hope it actually gets built. Will be fun to see something innovative come to roller coasters again.
  19. Hope it actually gets built. Will be fun to see something innovative come to roller coasters again.
  20. Would a full-size, outdoor coaster be awesome? Absolutely! Will they? You can never say never, but I would highly highly highly doubt it since it hasn't happened by now and the tour/theme park is coming up on 50 years old..
  21. Definitely seems like Jingle Cruise was thrown together at the last minute. Almost like someone was in a meeting and joked about it, then his boss liked it so much it became reality.
  22. Certainly cheap for a B&M if it were to go to a Six Flags or Cedar Fair park, but after factoring in the cost of relocation and reconstruction, I can't see any smaller park going for it. They could get more bang for their buck elsewhere.
  23. Sounds like Santa Kong all over again!
  24. ^Totally understand. Which is why I am hoping for the best!
