  4. Not really, but I'd love to go on one! Will you visit a new park this season?
  5. Today for lunch! (It's inexpensive and I'm on a first name basis with most of the workers there) When was the last time you watched WWE?
  6. Supposed to be 50s all next week here!
  7. I don't think so, Yngve! I'm going to be driving a lot today and tomorrow! (over 400 miles of it)

  9. I agree! Years ago there was a heavy rain just as we got to the park so we had to hide under a tree by WildCat (RIP). The rest of that day had good weather from what I can remember. Also, it can get HOT there. Another time I was there and I saw little ambulance carts going around. I'm guessing people were suffering from heat exhaustion as it had to be near 100 degrees that day.
  10. 1. Millennium Force (Cedar Point) 2. Incredible Hulk (Islands of Adventure) 3. Maverick (Cedar Point) 4. Raptor (Cedar Point) 5. Top Thrill Dragster (Cedar Point) 6. Valravn (Cedar Point) 7. GateKeeper (Cedar Point) 8. Kraken (SeaWorld Orlando) 9. Rougarou (Cedar Point) 10. Shivering Timbers (Michigan’s Adventure) My coaster count isn't impressive at all (only 49, and that's counting Gemini, Space Mountain, and Dragon Challenge as two credits apiece)
  11. I wonder who bought it. Better keep an eye out. Even though it's a long shot, I'd love to see it at Michigan's Adventure
  12. About a week ago! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTZwhEm1sMs When was the last time you had to wait in line over an hour for a coaster?
  13. Vanilla Ice
  14. Planning on seeing David Allan Coe next weekend
  15. When my sister and I visited Washington DC in the fall of 2015, we used Uber and taxis to get around. We tried public transit one day and it wasn't worth it (the ticket machines didn't work, signage was confusing, it was dirty and old, etc.)
  16. Including new for 2017/18 roller coasters: North America Banshee Beast El Toro Fury 325 Goliath (SFGAm and SFOG) Intimidator 305 Iron Rattler Joker (SFDK) Lightning Rod Lightning Run Mako Mystic Timbers New Texas Giant Outlaw Run Phantom's Revenge Phoenix RMC Streak Storm Chaser Twisted Colossus Voyage Wicked Cyclone Rest of the World Energylandia's 2018 hyper Flash (ah ah!) Formula Rossa Nemesis Shambhala Steel Dragon 2000 Taron Ultra Twister Wildfire
  17. I love it as well! The last time I went to Disney for a full vacation I stayed at Caribbean Beach. There were times the buses were so packed that every seat was filled AND people were crammed in the aisle (the only other time I've seen that was at college)
  18. I'm assuming you're talking about the blind Greek poet, so 1/10 Lightning Rod?
  19. To make it worse, they close Darien Lake and sell some of the rides to Cedar Fair. You have a trip planned to Florida.
  20. It was very good! This place has old photos of Manistee on their tables (scanned underneath clear plastic)
  21. As rumor (well, legend by this point) goes, only one person ever experienced the in-line twist - Intamin President, Sandor Kernacs. Apparently, he rode it once and immediately knew it was too much for the general public and ordered the redesign. Who knows how intense it actually was, but I imagine it would have been immensely more tolerable with these new restraints. I wish I could have experienced it - Those testing videos looked INSANE! Also, Intamin recently updated their website, if anyone's interested! Even with that redesign, Maverick still opened Memorial Day weekend that year (the only new coaster the Point has put in recently that wasn't open on Opening Day - even TTD was open on the first day of the 2003 season!)
