I went a few years ago for a day and we went to the park an hour before closing on Sunday (I think it was towards the end of their spring break) and the place was mobbed. X2's line was to the entrance and Tatsu was about an hour, we went on Tatsu and left. The next day the place was deserted, walk ons on everything, re-rides on X2, it was amazing. If 3/27 is a BAFF day it might be a little crowded, but probably not as bad as spring break. 3/27 BAFF shouldn't be bad as many passholders will probably be working that day and not in the park

I hope and pray at least one ride in Nintendo Land isn't fully screened. Speaking of Hulk, years ago I did it eight times in a row (I did exit and go back up the Express line between rides).

Not Dollywood, but I've been to Cedar Point on 90+ degree days with high humidity and all the coasters remained open (although with likely shorter lines as everyone went to the water park)

A trip full of bears sounds like a good time!

Like a fool I stayed all day today. Yes, the crowds were brutal. Everything had HUGE WAITS. According to their app late in the day, the shortest "thrill ride" had a wait of 70 minutes. Almost all were the 90+ minutes which is as high as it goes. No buses today, just a lot of cars and friends. Even though Cedar Point gets crowded, I've never seen EVERY RIDE there have hour plus waits at the same time

That's why Intimidator at Carowinds is often known as Intrimidator

Maintenance is higher because of (a) their seasons (BB and TC are both open 9-10 months of the year, with their rehabs staggered so they're not going on at the same time) and (b) the number of people that ride their slides per day

I looked it up on Google Earth, and I didn't realize that it's kind of right in the town!

IMHO, my top 5 rides at Universal are: 1. Incredible Hulk 2. Revenge of the Mummy 3. Men in Black: Alien Attack 4. Dragon Challenge 5(t). Dr. Doom's Fearfall and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Did they finally get Mindbender up and running?? I know it constantly went down all day yesterday, and this morning they had maintenance on the break run. I got 2 laps on Goliath, 2 on Batman, One on Scorcher and Acrophobia today, so it wasn't all that bad for an hour and half at the park, Plus I got 20 something laps in yesterday, Mind bender and Superman are the only coasters I haven't ridden this season. Come to think of it I think Batman, Scream Machine and Scorcher were the only rides not to go down yesterday, being the first day and all I expect some hiccups but it seemed like once something went back up, another one went back down yesterday, but I do have to commend them for getting everything running for the most part. They need to get the kinks out now, prior to spring break and then the summer season

Their weekends (especially Saturdays) get quite busy in July and August, but still lines are under a half hour for their dry rides. The water park, on the other hand, can be a complete zoo, especially when it's north of 80 degrees

No, because it's asinine. Rule of thumb: love the park, hate the system. Agree with you 110%! Hulk is still my #2 overall coaster while Dragon Challenge and Mummy sit not far outside my top 10
