No. I don't even have 50 credits! Have you ridden a coaster that launches backwards?

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
cparkes92 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Cedar Point weather will change rapidly. Going on a day with a threatening forecast can pay off, especially if rain isn't supposed to arrive until later. My second day there last year was like that (thunderstorms in the forecast; they did show up not long after I left). In less than three hours, I got on many of the E-ticket equivalent rides (Millennium, Maverick, Magnum, Dragster, GateKeeper, Raptor, Rougarou) -
Yeah, you know how I feel about simulators, but this basically moves more than almost any other simulator on the planet. I spent half of my second ride just looking behind me at the mechanics of the ride vehicle which was incredible. Plus with the different seats it makes it feel like a real ride. Now that being said, towards the end of the ride you do this crazy barrel role maneuver and that quickly reminds me that I'm on a simulator and about to feel nauseous! Luckily that's right at the end! I'm impressed with what Disney did with Pandora! The pictures look incredible. Based on your quotes, I think I would find it enjoyable since I'm not a big fan of simulators

Never even heard of this place before, but it looks neat! -
No. However, I have been in two accidents. 1: A guy pulled out on me while I was driving. Not a lot of damage to my car, but the other car was totaled. (This was back in high school) 2: I turned left out of work and a guy hit my left rear side. The other driver was trying to (illegally) pass a turning truck (the place where this happened does have a center turn lane, so the guy went into the turn lane to get around the truck). My car (which I had just gotten new a couple of months prior) had over $10,000 in damage and was likely saved because of its newness. Have you ever read Orwell's book Nineteen Eighty-Four?

Nope, but I am actually going there for the first time ever this June. That's why I thought about Conneaut, that was the park along the way as I head to my hotel after leaving Waldameer. Heading to Cedar Point the next day. Been wanting to go to Waldameer for years. At first for RFII but it looks to be a very nice lil park. I plan to spend several hours there. Oh man your snark game is A+ right now. Honestly it was purely because the park is right there, if I have a good enough time at Waldameer I'll gladly ditch Conneaut. As said I don't have a compulsion to rack up creds for the sake of it.

Never ridden one, but I did like the one Giant Inverted Boomerang I've been on. So a likely yes. Have you gone on a cross-country road trip?

There isn't one this year. Although it'll be annoying for entry, I'm happy that they are doing this considering the world we live in. Waiting 10 extra minutes to get into the park is a small price to pay to feel a little safer. Metal detectors to enter the park >>> metal detectors in queue lines -

Both parks at Port Aventura look amazing! I'd love to get over there someday. -
I remember watching a Discovery Channel documentary with Lightning Racer in it.

GAME: Finding the Similarities
cparkes92 replied to thrillseeker4552's topic in Random, Random, Random
They both have wooden coasters that originally opened in the 1920s and are still running today. Alton Towers and Thorpe Park -
Kennywood and Waldameer are probably about two hours apart, so it might be doable if you go to Waldameer at opening, get the credits, and then head to Kennywood

The most rare coaster credits
cparkes92 replied to Stitch's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not super rare as some others listed, but my mother and I rode Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America on our only visit there in 2005. From what I've seen, that ride rarely operated in its six seasons at SFGAm (due to mechanical and/or staffing issues)
