  1. I'd guess sometime within the next 2/3 years, although if they come out tomorrow and say we are getting a dark ride of sorts, that'd be great as well. We have zero dark rides here at Dorney, unless you count falling asleep on Hydra.
  2. Think about it though, it is as dualing as twisted colossus, in the way the trains go through two parts and race each other each time. I understand what you're trying to say since there are multiple cars on the track and they kind of "race" each other, but no I do not consider it to be one.
  3. They can...not giant hyper coaster high, but they most certainly can go over 30ft. Do you know how high they can go, or just that it is above 30ft?
  4. I'll bite. How about A Launched B&M Wing Coaster that has a corkscrew over a midway? Have it go through tunnels or something. Name it Mantwo and we'll be good to go! Could call it Steel Eel Yeah, that flows better than my suggestion. They could use both if they wanted though because if they start making their parks look like an RCT3 park of mine, they're going to need a lot of names. Honestly, 25 coasters spread across 3 parks sounds like overkill, although it would bring people in.

  6. And that year of coasters could all be Larson Loops!! Imagine having dueling Larson Loopers... INTERLOCKING dueling Larson Loopers! ^I think both of those already exist, just not in Larson Looper format. What if we put several Larson Loopers all interlocked with one Looper and made it look like a set of keys?

  8. According to the site, anyone above 48" can ride alone, so credit whore away. I can verify that they allow you to ride Cocoa Cruiser without a child. Yes, I have the credit. I don't have it. Every time I go to the park it's with my dad, and if he saw me riding it I think he'd leave the park and drive home right then and there.
  9. At Dorney, you don't need a ride order since pretty much everyone in the park is at the waterpark. Every ride on the dry side will most likely have a 10 minute line or less, so you can ride whatever you want in whatever order. Usually, I start with Talon (back left seat) since it's the BITP and do everything on that side of the park, then walk down the hill over by Hydra and do everything I want to at the lower end of the park. As for dining plans, I don't have one nor have I looked into it so I can't help you there.

  11. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how%20long%20is%20the%20drive%20from%20new%20york%20city%20to%20busch%20gardens%20williamsburg According to Google, that drive is 6 hours and 32 minutes one way. Seems legit.
  12. Here's the deal: for people in the region, complaints about the clientele consistently come up and have been coming up for as long as I've been connected to the rest of the hobby or people living in the DC/Baltimore area. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these complaints are really down-low racism, but confronting that fact doesn't change the reality that there's a lot of people there with a lot of alternate options who are basically afraid of a theme park with a greater than 15% African American or Hispanic customer base. Six Flags can do two things then: -Shrug, put lots of money into infrastructure that was ignored during the initial flagging process from Adventure World to Six Flags America -Do bare minimum to keep numbers where they are in a highly competitive market place The current management has never chosen for #1 for any park, so it shouldn't surprise you they've gone with #2. That park needs to spend millions on things like plumbing before they spend it on rides. This. The "clientele" thing really grinds my gears about this park. Leading up to the first time I visited SFA that is all I would hear about. When I finally visited the park I said to myself "what the hell are they talking about?" They were speaking about the place as if there was drug dealers slinging dope on ride exits and people were getting knifed on the midways. Man people are sheltered sometimes. I completely agree with you. The people saying that should just go to valley fair or michigans adventure instead. Neither of those parks are remotely close to SFA. Maybe KD and BGW instead. I know that but I was trying to say that if they don't want to be around black people and latinos they should go somewhere where they aren't. Okay, that makes more sense.

  14. Great trip report! I'm glad you enjoyed your day at Hersheypark! Also to comment on "Pre-Vest Storm Runner", it was fun, but only the first half is good. The second half was very jerky. I was convinced that the goal of the flying snake dive was to try and execute you via decapitation. It was the same deal with Fahrenheit's corkscrews. Much better now.
  15. You still haven't gotten a Larson Loop. Disappointment still awaits.
  16. ^^ I can feel myself vomiting just looking at that. Looks amazing. Imagine if they had spinning seats like those combined with the movement of the seats on a 4d coaster...
  17. The only lines for coasters that even have a possibility of being above 10 minutes are Steel Force (because everyone rushes to the tallest ride in the park) Wild Mouse (because capacity sucks) and Stinger (because as you read this it probably just broke down again).
  18. It only plays through on the YouTube video link, but not through the site. I'm using a desktop mac in Chrome.
  19. If you had to choose between going to Lakemont and going to La Ronde, which would you choose, and how much alcohol would you need afterwards? Btw great trip report!
  20. If there was a coaster coming next year, I think work would have already been started and they would have been hinting it for a few months now.
