  1. That means they're going to RMC I305, obviously.
  2. Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit (or 0 degrees Celsius) but most parks aren't open when it's that cold, let alone try to operate a log flume at that temperature. So I guess you're still right.
  3. Yes, there is ERT on Talon, Antique carousel, and Wave Swinger. Also if you didn't know, make sure to ride back left on Talon. It's the best seat on any coaster in the park. As for dining plans, I can't help you with that, since I eat lunch outside of the park to save money.
  4. I've always heard that it was a law in Pennsylvania that rollercoasters aren't allowed to cross the 200ft barrier, but I can't find any information on it so if someone could confirm or deny this that would be great.
  5. I think a Sky Roller (or any remotely thrilling flat) would work well there. They've removed two flat rides on the midway and I hope they would put something in those empty spaces soon. Then again, we are talking about Dorney so I doubt much will happen for a few years.
  6. So Flying Falcons is being removed for this? Good thing I got to ride it earlier this month.
  7. I don't get it. Dorney Park is almost as old as Cedar Point. Do you know how many anniversaries they've had? Maybe for their upcoming 133rd anniversary, they can put in another dinosaur made out of wood from Mean Steak.
  8. I am one of those first time riders who was like "Okay, this is lots of fun" going over the first drop which quickly transitioned into a "HOLY SHIT MY ASS FEELS LIKE IT IS 5 INCHES OUT OF THE SEAT" going over the first hill. From that point onward, it has been my favorite rollercoaster.
  9. Go to pokevision to help find them when they show on your radar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk PokeVision seemingly got a cease and desist letter on Saturday or Sunday, july 30th/31st. I tried using Pokenotify on my S7 but it never finds anything, a few days ago it was sending push notifications at least every 60 seconds. Pokemonfinder works for me, but it only shows pokemon within 1km of you and I just got it this morning on the google play store. but yeah Niantic is removing all trackers including their own. They haven't said the footsteps will be gone forever, but they haven't said they'll ever be brought back into the game either. also verison 0.31.0 or whatever its called on apple's store front is currently ranked 2.1/5 People are not happy with Niantic's actions and utter lack of communication. Turning off the in-game tracker, even if it is so the tracker can be fixed, while disabling all other tracking devices was a bad move. They're going to lose a lot of players in the next few days if they can't get the tracker fixed. In other news, Hersheypark has an abnormal amount of Horsea in the park, so if you want one (or twenty) Hershey is the place to be.
  10. If I remember correctly, Cedar Fair does have a large chunk of debt coming due in 2018. Close to $250 million or so, with larger chunks due in 2020-2021. Could be the reason for what seems to be a lack of investment dollars in park attractions so far for 2017. The interest you could save on paying down that debt could probably pay for a future coaster itself. Glad I don't carry that debt on my balance sheet! How did they acquire all of that debt? I can't think of anything recent that would have cost that much, other than maybe the paramount park purchasing in 2006.
  11. I like your thinking. If this were the Kings Dominion thread, the four would mean 4 inversions on their new RMC. The accuracy in this hurts.
  12. You already know which thread this is from... There's been a lot of incessant bitching about how the park is "due" for a new coaster or some crap but no actual signs of them getting one or meaningful discussion.
  13. The Dragon's Tail coaster in Labadee, Haiti. It is an alpine coaster, and is the only rollercoaster in Haiti!
  14. No Patrick, Mayonnaise is not an instrument. Are you finished with those errands?
  15. Similarities between Lightning Racer and Wildcat - Wooden coasters - Both made by GCI - Both seldom have lines Differences between Lightning Racer and Wildcat Lightning Racer: - Racing - Smooth - Enjoyable - Worth reriding Wildcat: - Not racing - Not smooth - Not enjoyable - Not worth reriding
  16. ^ If you plan on riding Laff Track do it immediately after Fahrenheit. That line fills up quickly. After that I would do everything else on that side of the park, head over to Storm Runner (and Sidewinder too if you care). From there, go to either the Hollow or Kissing Tower hill and finish from there.
  17. If you enjoy Wildcat, then more power to you. Enjoy your consistent 5 minute wait. For the rest of us, it's more like this: Not to mention the seal interpretation that Wildcat makes when it's rolling from the break run to the station.
  18. Personally, I think it's a fun game. However, the issues start because people don't use common sense. Things such as walking into others, getting hit by cars, and getting robbed by people could all be avoided (not 100% on the last one, but still) if players were aware of their surroundings, used common sense, and played safe. Sadly, not everyone has these things.
