Had a weird start to my day at SFGAdv earlier this year: Started by turning towards the Ka\Zumanjaro dead end to start the day instead of ending up at Toro. When I figured out how to get to El Toro, it had a delay to start the day. After waiting at Toro for a bit and riding El Diablo, I wasn't sure if I wanted to sit at Toro. By now it was 11am so I decided to head to Bizzaro. As I walk up to Bizzaro I see a train in the station and the 2nd train just sitting on the break run. I walked up to the station and some of the ops are just standing there and a Lead is showing a new crew member something on one of the restraints. The standing ops seemed kinda surprised to see me show up, so I asked if the ride was up and running. They said sure, so I hopped in the front row. The lead took this opportunity to work with the new crew member how to check my restraints. Did my lap in the front row and returned to a still empty station. Asked if it was cool to jump to the back row. Ops said it was cool, but still seemed perplexed by my presence. After the 2nd lap, some people finally showed up in the station. It was just weird how the ops were acting. Just made the solo laps kinda weird.

Why would there even be S&S 4D freespin trains in the park? Even if SFGAm was adding one they would come during the offseason when the ride would be constructed. They're probably lying. That's what happens when you post stuff from another message board where 80% of the posts are from high school kids...

Luke's is a cool little restaurant. They only got 6-7 things on the menu, but holy hell are they all awesome! I love the one in Chicago. Shrimp roll FTW! Just curious, are Lobster Rolls not that common in NYC? I know it's more of a New England thing, but I figured there would be some local place that would beat Luke's out. NYC seems to have everything that would beat out a "chain" type place. Not a knock against Luke's, but I just figured NYC would be diverse enough to have some random "hole in the wall" with an awesome Lobster Roll.

Would this be an "All or nothing" proposition for a potential buyer? For the reasons stated already, I can't see SF or CF being comfortable with the total package. They are stepping on their own toes in key areas. (CF has King's Dominion/BGW on top of each other while SF has SFFT and SW-San Antonio) You'd see at least one park closure if either company went forward, IMO. Would the Orlando and San Diego acquisitions be able to overcome those losses? CF seems to have a steeper hill to climb here. Interesting theoretical that seems to kill this.

Six Flags 2017 New Ride Predictions

With the current cycle of "group buys" will this be the last year or do we have ne more year to go to complete the cycle? And then I'm curious if we start another 4-5 year cycle in 2018/19. -

If you will enjoy the rest of the park w/o Lightning Rod, go for it. If you're going to throw a temper tantrum if Lightning Rod is down, skip it. We've seen enough people whining abut "wasted trips" already.... -

I hear there's a used one in Kansas City going real cheap right now. Was just going to say.... -

For a name, if we're playing off "clues", I'd go with something Phoenix related. I mean everything seems centered around death right now. So why not have something rising from the dead. Or Zombies.... Zombies work too! -

See, Dippin' Dots says that Y'all are correct on RMC, but are not correct about Dinos leaving... In fact, a single dino is coming to CP in '17... Of course I'm referring to an RMC T-Rex... I mean, it would be a "World's First" and I'm sure there are records to be had with that. Enthusiast's minds will be blown and they will line up at CP for a healthy serving of Kool-Aid. So, um, did any of that actually stick to the wall or do I need to grab another handful? -

This post is hilarious and amazing. On the other hand I'm cringing thinking about the 5 posts that are on the way that take a funny post and beat it into the ground. Jumping tons of sharks and landing on tons of dead horses after completing said jumps and giving us all douche chills in the process. I like turtles! -

It comes down to the same reason why a retailer will do an exchange on a broken product even though the item was clearly broken due to misuse/customer's fault. They don't want to bite the hand that feeds them. -
If you're not using a Flash Pass, I'd suggest doing either Goliath or Justice League first. Goliath's capacity is bad and Justice League is the new Hotness. They are on opposite sides of the park, so you can get one early, but will wait for the other in all likelihood. Also, if VR is running on Raging Bull, your one shot will be at rope drop (there still isn't a start date for VR, so just keep this thought around). Non-VR Raging Bull has decent capacity, so don't be put off if the line is somewhere in the 1st set of switchbacks. Superman also has horrible capacity, but it's at the front of the park so it gets a crowd early and holds it for most of the day. Whizzer, Batman and X-Flight can get up to an hour or so, so be aware. Demon and Viper are usually under 30 minutes.
