  1. Wow! The new restaurant looks beautiful. I also like the new Camp Snoopy attractions and Rattlesnake backwards! Next year, I bet we'll be seeing something new for kids.
  2. The only problem is that I don't have No Limits software. Is it okay if you post a POV video of your unrealistic but cool coaster?
  3. An unrealistic coaster that goes underwater, eh? The idea is definitely unique, and I want to see how this turns out.
  4. To be honest, the only Arrow coaster I remember riding was Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland back in 2010, and I don't remember a thing about the ride experience! I just remembered it being "good'. Matterhorn was the first tubular steel coaster, Corkscrew at Knott's was the first modern inverting coaster, and X2 at Magic Mountain was the first 4D/Wing coaster. Arrow Dynamics really did a lot of stuff.
  5. Most of the time, I watch YouTube videos on my desktop. However, I do use my phone when I'm on the go and I use my Wii rarely.
  6. This park looks pretty darn nice so far! The roller coasters look like they have nice layouts. There's plenty of vegetation. I also like the effect you used on the images. Nice job!
  7. I have to say that the track looks pretty nice, though I noticed an unpainted section. If I ever get the chance to visit Magic Mountain, I really want to enjoy Twisted Colossus. Keep it up, RMC!
  8. Xcelerator is an awesome coaster, but 40K times? Gee, this man was crazy. Roller coasters get boring after a while, so I'm surprised.
  9. From the Chinese knockoff loopscrew video... "What is this transition??!!" "This used to be a corkscrew!" "I think I just got spinal injury."
  10. All of that food for that price? Pretty amazing. Now you can get boysenberry butter for around $1.50. Stupid inflation...
  11. It was Sunday, August 17, 2014. This was our final day at Knott's, so I needed to ride all the coasters I wanted before heading back to Vegas. One last breakfast at Amber Waves. Here's one of the ticket booths. From here, Silver Bullet's cobra roll really "smiles". Bullcrap. Only GhostRider and Camp Snoopy are open during early access. Well, at least there's a fun coaster waiting for happy guests! I had to wait in the Indian Trails area until ten. Silver Bullet! This ride was pretty fun, but it just seemed forgettable for some reason. I had no idea there were actual boysenberries here until after the trip. Boomerang. Awful! Wipeout is quite fun. It's forceful and it spun by body all over the place. Coast Rider. Meh. Xcelerator is an awesome ride, especially when the park is this dead! I did not ride any of the new flats on this trip, but they are good. Rumor has it that this area will be turned into a dark ride. This section of the Boardwalk has asphalt for some reason. Pony Express. Fun! I never noticed this plaque until now. Treetop Flyers is one of the new rides for this year, and it's a good one. Montezoona's Revenge is one of the best at Knott's! Some of the paint is peeling off, though. Goodbye, Knott's! I'll see you again sometime soon. Finally, I leave you with a shot of Jaguar!
  12. Montezoona's Revenge at Knott's, which was also my first looping coaster. That was back in 2012 when Perilous Plunge was still open.
  13. There's Blue Streak, Colossus, and other wooden coasters that have some color.
  14. A Haunt sounds like a good idea. Perhaps we'll see a Scary Hills event?
  15. Sprite, I think?
  16. Xcelerator at Knott's. It's an amazing coaster! The launch was fast and the train just soared through the pink track.
  17. Somehow, I abandoned this TR for whatever reason. I still have plenty of photos to post, so please read on! After leaving Knott's for the morning, our family went to the Little Saigon area again for some lunch. It was the same restaurant we ate at the night before. Soup with meats and noodles. Tasty! I also hade a special lemon soda. After lunch, it was time for us to go back to the hotel to relax for a while. After that, my dad, sister, and I would go to Soak City. Gee, the lines for the slides were way too long. That's a nice arch. Back to the hotel! The sun sets over Southern California. Delish! The chicken is good, but man, the biscuits were just great. It's so fluffy, and it's great with boysenberry butter and some *cough* Smucker's *cough* boysenberry preserves. In the display shelf for Virginia's, there's some retro things. There's a lot of things in Virginia's, but I couldn't find anything Knott's related. It was off to Snoopy HQ after being disappointed about Virginia's Gift Shop. Wow! There's a lot of Peanuts stuff here. A lot. They even have the television specials playing. I eventually purchased two items from this store. There's live music again, but this time, there's a crowd! At least WindSeeker has a new home. This was a ride I never got a change to ride. They say that the carrousel is over a hundred years old. I was going to ride Silver Bullet, but man, the lines were ridiculous! This was mainly due to the fact that they were only running one train. Coasters looks great with its neon lights. There's Coast Rider. It doesn't really shine at night. The two flats, however, look fantastic! It's pretty dark here... Unfortunately, the Roaring 20's sign doesn't light up. Does it mislead guests? This is a fabulous marquee. I rode the bumper cars. Good fun! It was time for one last ride on Pony Express. You won't believe how many people rushed to the line. Come on, it's not Colossus! The park is now closed. Do you want to ride the Bigfoot Rapids in a chilly night? It's back to the hotel.
  18. Silver Bullet at Knott's. It's a great coaster, but the first drop is just laughable.
  19. July 1984 Mike Spencer, Park Manager Hello! This is Mike Spencer again, manager of Topaz Park. Recently, for whatever reason, I decided to visit the park early in the morning. Usually, I just visit my office at Spencer Properties headquarters on the other side of the I-80, but I wanted to see what the park looked like. Guests have been complaining that the ticket area is old and outdated. I have to agree. Twisted Beehive might not be our most popular ride, but man, does it look nice. Skydive looks beautiful in the morning. Our Rotor has its floor jammed in the lower position. Charles Moore, our maintenance manager, said that the parts are no good. From the Boardwalk, it appears that Sink! is taller than Skydive, even though both are about the same height. This would be an excellent photo opportunity if the park was ever open this early! Some employees, like this maintenance guy, go to work very early. Finally, I leave you with The Gull's double loops.
  20. Well, I just noticed that Robb sent me a wonderful private message saying that I never had a reason for saying "no". So here's my reasoning, short and simple. I check Theme Park Review almost every single day as of now, but I do not check my Gmail account unless I sign up for a site or something like that. There.
  21. Here on Theme Park Review (and other RCT3 threads), park makers use one thread for all their updates. One thread per update is just useless and wastes a lot of space.
  22. I rode the Vekoma Boomerang at Knott's. It's a "unique" ride (despite it being cloned everywhere), but it doesn't age well. The headbanging alone made this ride simply unenjoyable. It was rough during the inversions and was rough otherwise.
  23. Well, that's some bullcrap over here. RMC was going to take down the lift piece by piece, the fire was probably just an accident, and wooden coasters are perfectly fine! The GP can be really stupid sometimes.
  24. Some things I found on the burning Colossus video's comment section. It's not Facebook, but it is "GP". The coaster was closed for a few weeks already. No. Just no. This was most likely just an accident while the people from RMC were demolishing the ride. Again, this was probably just an accident. Are you kidding? Wooden coasters are perfectly safe! The wood on this coaster was probably too old.
  25. The parking lot looks pretty decent, but oh dear. Why would Cedar Fair (it's Fair, not Fairs) name this park Paramount Point? I don't think they still have rights to the name and the real Paramount parks were all renamed within a year of being acquired.
