  1. Maybe your computer is out of RAM or something. Make sure that all applications are closed.
  2. Cedar Fairs? A Paramount park? What? We need actual images from RCT3 and more information.
  3. June 1984 Jack Stevens, Student You might remember me from a trip report my mom wrote. That was six years ago! I was only ten back then and I remember the experience to be sub-par. My mom wouldn't let me play the midway games and a bunch of rides were closed. The Salt Lake Nursery stopped handing out free park tickets for some reason, which is why I haven't made a visit to the park for such a long time. However, I still had those coupons for a park ticket. There was no expiration date. Before I knew it, I was in my brand new car with lots of cash and my camera. The ticket area looks worn and dated. However, the information center still looks good as new! The Rotor was closed, which was a disappointment. The sign said that they were closed "due to common malfunctions". At least the Topaz Whip was open. It's a tame but fun ride. I like it. Skydive provided nice views, but the only thrill factor is height. I loved The Rocky Mountain Elk back then as I do now. It's so twisty. This was new. It was the Forest Market, which was some kind of mall or something. I remember this coaster being closed the last time I went here. This is a fun ride, and I like the tunnel at the end. Here's the boardwalk. Wow, six years really make a difference. This was Sink!, which was basically Skydive on steroids. For lunch, I had a tasty burger and honey slush. Much better than what you get at McDonald's. After relaxing for a while, I rode on Ocean. I like this ride. You basically go upside down a billion times. My map showed an announcement for the Lake Topaz Twister, which is basically one of those scrambler rides. It also showed The Gull. I thought it was cool. There were two loops and two corkscrews. This ride was great. It really focused on the inversions, but I liked it nevertheless. There's also shoulder restraints, which made me feel safer. I actually enjoyed Topaz Park this time! Six years really does make a difference. The rides were great. 'Nuff said. If I could, I would definitely come back to this amusement park in the near future.
  4. These announcements look great. Rattlesnake backwards sounds fun, and I like the new colors. At least the Valley Market was replaced with a restaurant.
  5. Coasters Magazine Volume Four, Issue Eleven November 1983 And Now, Three New Rides for a Family Park Written by Mike Spencer Hi there! My name is Mike Spencer, and I'm the manager for a small park called Topaz Park. Topaz Park is not very well known, but we have some great stuff. Our park has been operating for over twenty years and thousands of visitors passed through our gates. The reason why I'm writing this article on a well-known magazine like Coasters is because I believe that Topaz Park's new rides for 1984 should get nationwide attention. I can assure you that these new rides will be fun for both thrillseekers and families. Now, let's get on with the announcements. Our first new ride is Bumper Boats on the Bay. Topaz Park is located right next to an artificial lake called Lake Topaz. These bumper boats are powered by man, so it's completely safe for the environment. With the bumper boats, our guests will be able to enjoy a nice, relaxing time on Lake Topaz. Guests are required to rent a life jacket, though, due to safety reasons. Our bumper boats should be great. Concept art for the Bumper Boats dock. But that isn't all. Our next new ride is the Lake Topaz Twister, a scrambler ride built by the Eli Bridge Company. We were able to acquire this ride for an affordable price. This is a classic ride. Riders take a seat and then spin all around in a circular motion. This ride is pretty hard to explain, but you get the idea. It's a ride that will definitely make you dizzy, but it's excellent. Concept art for the Lake Topaz Twister. Finally, we are ready to reveal... The Gull Concept art for The Gull's lift hill and station. The Gull will be a new roller coaster built by the Arrow HUSS company here in Utah. If you thought that this was just one plain old roller coaster, think again. This bird puts on quite a show! It goes through two loops back to back, a twist, an airtime hill, and two back to back corkscrews to tie it all up together. The Gull will be one of the most extreme roller coasters in the state of Utah, behind the Colossus roller coaster at Lagoon. Concept art for The Gull's double loops. I hope to see some smiling faces during the 1984 season, and these new rides will guaranteed that. Our wood and path borders will be supplied by the Salt Lake Nursery and the station building for The Gull will be built by our maintenance crew. Make sure you take a visit to Topaz Park, Utah's family park, in 1984! Concept art for The Gull's double corkscrew.
  6. This park looks pretty nice. You might, however, want to use a different path texture for the paths, because some of the covers make the paths look bare. It's a nice park, and I'm sure that it will be a nice side project to Wild Northwest.
  7. Perhaps Rattlesnake is getting some new trains in 2009. And I hope nothing is done to Black Stallion.
  8. Not that I know of. You're stuck with the in-game breaks.
  9. ^Um... there's absolutely nothing. Nothing. I see that you have a "Steam" folder. If you have the Steam version of the game, you can try checking there.
  10. The Rocky Mountain Elk is such an amazing coaster. It has some nice twists and airtime moments, along with a loop. But this ride is seven years old! We need something new in order to thrill a new generation of families. A bird is ready to flap its wings...
  11. In this update, I'm just going to post a souvenir booklet, inspired by the ones montezooma/Shane has posted. Enjoy! Download the souvenir booklet here!
  12. Nothing? What version of the game are you using?
  13. Is it okay if I see your directory? I'm not very experienced with Windows 8, but I can try to help you out.
  14. A classic side friction coaster! That's nice. If you want to remove the UI, rename a peep David Walsh. Then, use the Ctrl-U command. This park looks pretty nice, but the surrounding area could use some trees and bushes. I like that you added fences around your paths, but I don't see any lights, benches, or waste bins. Keep up the good work!
  15. A brand new Six Flags park? Interesting... This park could really use some decor. Trees and bushes would REALLY help this park. Some lights, benches, and waste bins will make the paths more alive, and even some path borders will help. All of your coasters look pretty nice, but if you can, download some support replacement packs and/or retextures. If your computer can't handle these items, don't do it. Overall, it's a decent park, but some things need some improvement.
  16. This looks like a decent park with a decent selection of rides. However, the woodie looks horribly small! I'm sure that it packs a punch, though. I have one piece of advice for you: David Walsh is your friend. Rename any peep to David Walsh, then press Ctrl-U. Your pictures should look much better. Other than that, keep it up!
  17. Samurai, a new B&M hyper. Seems like a Goliath to me...
  18. An amusement park is created in memory of a dead person? Okay... I have a few questions about this park. What is the location? When is this story taking place? I would really like to see more of this park.
  19. This is a pretty interesting concept. A bunch of different parks on two different games! I'll have to see what comes out of this.
  20. Nice! The pool and the tower fit nicely. Both are very modern in design. Keep this project running!
  21. Do you want to add custom rides? Or do you want to know how to place rides?
  22. This is a pretty interesting park. I really want to see more.
  23. ^^Well, true. I hope this ride still thrill riders for years to come!
  24. Ah, the new waterpark that's in town. These pictures look great! Thanks for sharing them.
