  1. Nice photos, it looks just as crowded as WDW was this week. That sucks you ran into a rude employee. Although the large majority of employees at Disney are nice, I am noticing more and more aren't as acting as nice as in the past. At Splash Mountain, the guy at the fastpass was telling everyone that unless your fastpass said 4:00 or earlier, he suggested you play in the park as you aren't getting in (someone even told him he didn't have to be so mean about it as the worker also said it in a mean tone).
  2. Trying out Storm Runner (now that I rode Rock N Roller Coaster I figure I can handle Storm Runner)
  3. It seemed like there were so many accidents on I-4 this week. Earlier in the week I saw an overturned car and there was a 3 or 4 car accident as well.
  4. Great pictures, looks like you had a nice trip. It was cool to meet you today at Epcot.
  5. Body Wars had a standby wait of 20 minutes today (according to the sign board). Cranium Command was posted at 5 minutes. MK and AK were filled to capacity and Epcot was packed. In comparison, Test Track standby was 150, Mission Space standby was 140, Nemo was 50, and Soarin was 160 standby.
  6. Just an update I was there yesterday and though not officially Christmas week it's close and I have to say I was shocked about Body Wars. The wait board in Future World said 10 minutes. The real wait? 0 minutes. No one was around and no one was in the queue. I got to the end of the queue and there were only 4 other people in line. Only 1 operator was working and he was on the phone and I heard him say "I got guests" (like he was surprised anyone was in line). We didn't watch the film before boarding, he just let us right on. It was strange only having 5 people on the ride. I didn't bother with the rest of the attractions but there were probably less than 25 people in the whole place.
  7. It was working today. It's amazing to see the Yeti in person. Only a 20 minute wait too! (at around 10:00 a.m.)
  8. I used to love the old Nickelodoen shows, my favorites were: Doug, Rugrats (episodes before the Rugrats movie), Nick Arcade, Hey Dude, Guts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Finders Keepers, Make The Grade, Wild & Crazy Kids, All That (first few seasons) and especially My Brother & Me. I used to laugh so much at the jokes of that show. Nick has gone downhill so much recently. I know I am out of the target age range but still, it seems like MTV Jr. to me. The shows don't seem so "innocent" anymore (not sure if that's the best word to use but it seems like a lot of shows are not so kid friendly anymore). The only current shows I really like are Spongebob and Avatar. I find stuff like the Amanda Show obnoxious and each new show seems worse than the next.
  9. Tonight I got a WDW "Treasure Hunt" book for an upcoming trip to WDW. It's basically trivia that you look for the answers to while at the park.
  10. Dorney got a 2nd wavepool this year as well. One is slightly interactive (some fountains), and both appeared to be very crowded. Maybe 2 wavepools in 1 park is a Cedar Fair thing.
  11. 20 oz Diet Pepsi at lunch today.
  12. XIII is supposed to be good but I haven't played it. It's $4 used for PS2 and $5 used for Gamecube at EB
  13. I got a Target Giftcard tonight. It was a nice surprise since the only thing I asked for is to go to Hersheypark next year for Springtime in the Park and said there was nothing else I really wanted. Hanukkah is probably my favorite holiday of the year since besides the gifts, I think it's one of the more relaxed holidays.
  14. I love the Dorney shot glasses at Knott's. I wonder if it was a shipment sent there by accident or done on purpose. When Dorney opens in May, I'll defiently be looking for stuff from other CF parks to see if they have any items.
  15. Congratulations on losing more weight. I didn't know caffeine can raise blood pressure. I drink about 1 can of soda a day but it's always diet coke or diet pepsi so I figured it wasn't that bad (other than the nutra sweet). Maybe I should drink caffeine free soda more often.
  16. On the DS I'm almost unlocked everything in Cooking Mama (It gets boring fast since the gameplay is very repetitive). I'm about halfway done the original set of scenarios in RCT 3, then I get to go through the ones for the Soaked expansion.
  17. And because of EA's refusing to support the DC. Had Madden been a launch game instead of NFL 2K (I prefer the 2K series to Madden), I think it would have really helped the DC. Too many people won't buy a system without EA's games and won't even give another sports game a chance, as shown by Madden 2005 still outselling NFL 2K5 on PS2 despite NFL 2K5 having a price tag 60% lower than Madden. I can't believe how well GBA is still selling. It's a good system but I would think most people would rather just get a DS at this point since it plays the GBA games as well.
  18. Nice, I really like the captions.
  19. My cell phone (in a zippered pocket of course). As someone also mentioned above, I also sometimes take a prize I win while at the park with me on a ride if it's small enough to fit in a pocket (since I don't trust leaving it in a bin) but that's not something that happens often.
  20. I'll be there that week. I expect it to be crowded but shorter waits compared to other attractions. I remember seeing on the attraction wait board 2 years ago during that week, Body Wars had a 45 minute wait (Test Track was 180 minutes and Mission Space was either 25 or 45 minutes)
  21. Could they be changing it to a Superman ride?
  22. Agreed. Dinoland feels like a carnival to me with carnival type rides (a generic coaster and generic flat) and those skill games just add to the whole carnival feel. I also agree about Mickey's Birthdayland/Starland/Toontown Fair (or whatever it is called now). The houses were fun to walk through once but it feels like it's not needed especially compared to what Toontown looks like in Disneyland (attractions worth seeing). Barnstormer is fun but not worth the usual long wait it has for a ride that is 20 seconds from the end of the lift hill to the brake run.
  23. I'm not eating Taco Bell for a while. I like the food but it's not worth taking a chance on getting sick. There's always Baja Fresh (though I find it a ripoff compared to Taco Bell even though the food is higher quality)
  24. Epcot is a huge park. It's almost like 2 parks in one with Future World and World Showcase. It is difficult to see everything in Epcot in 1 day, let alone go to another park the same day.
  25. Sea Serpent and Flitzer at Playland's Castaway Cove, Doo Woppper at Morey's
