  1. She was an aunt on the show but Becky (Lori Loughlin) from Full House.
  2. Maybe it's the angle of the picture but that last picture of BTR really looks like a rider's foot could hit those plants.
  3. I hope this game turns out better than Thrill Kill, I played it twice and once the novelty of the violence wore off, I realized it wasn't much fun to play. It doesn't even seem that bad compared to some more recently released games.
  4. I am annoyed by this decision. I know it is Sony's and Nintendo's right to say no AO games but if the game is clearly rated AO and anyone under 18 is not allowed to buy it (I get carded at stores all the time when buying a M rated game, so with an AO it would be even worse), then why can't older gamers enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played? Games aren't just for kids anymore. I'm sure they'll edit it to get the M rating but it will still be a very violent game that kids shouldn't be playing anyway so I don't see the difference. Maybe Rockstar will release it for the PC uncensored since no one could stop them from releasing it (but then there is the issues of stores selling an AO rated game). Other than stores like FYE (since they sold the AO San Andreas and sell adult DVD's), I can't see most retailers carrying it
  5. Any kiddie coaster at a park where it's pay per ride and I already have the credit.
  6. For RCT 3, how do you add water to the trough of the giant splash boat (if that's not the exact name, the Perilous Plunge type ride)? I tried to raise and lower the land around the trough and add water and tried to click the add water to the trough itself but nothing works.
  7. I think CF's ride rating system is really bad. I wouldn't have been surprised if Zach's Zoomer was a 5 last year since at Dorney Wild Mouse and Thunderhawk were both 5's but changed to 4 this year. The log flume and bumper cars are also a 4 and the rapids are a 5. I think a 1 - 7 or 1 - 10 system would be better especially when most coasters are a 5.
  8. Weren't they long with to begin even with the height restriction? If they did remove the height limit that is great. I hate when parks have maximum height limits on rides that can safely accomodate adults or those who are taller than the usual 54" maximum height requirement, especially a ride like that that isn't really a kiddie coaster.
  9. I think the problem with Dorney is its location. It's so close to Hershey and Great Adventure both of which I think have better coaster collections so Dorney is sort of overlooked. If Dorney or the same collection of rides was in another part of the country where there aren't as many parks or not as many great parks I think it would be more highly regarded. I mean a park with 2 B&M's and a hyper (regardless of how they compare to other rides of the same category) would be a huge lineup somewhere such as Washington (state), Alabama much of the Midwest etc. where there aren't mega parks all over the place.
  10. The station looks very close to the real thing. It looks great.
  11. I have only ridden a few kiddie coasters and no one has said anything. It's a little uncomfortable being the oldest person on the train without a kid but I don't care.
  12. For me, when I go to a local park I don't want to spend hours and hours there because I have a limited amount of free time with work and wouldn't want to spend that time in line. I go to Dorney on a weekly basis and never spend more than 3 - 4 hours which is plenty of time to get 20 - 25 rides in. If I had to invest a full day's worth of time to ride everything I wanted in a park, I wouldn't go as often. That's also a reason I will never go on a weekend during daily operations so I can avoid almost all lines.
  13. Great, I liked the layout and that it was a longer ride than most spinners.
  14. When I go to a park I want to get as many rides as I can in as little time as possible so I hate lines. Even a 15 minute line is something I want to avoid if possible. I enjoy walking through an empty queue and walking into an empty station and having my choice of rows and waiting 30 seconds for the next train to return to the station so I can board the ride.
  15. They still show it on the Disney Channel
  16. I think what they should do is offer daily admission but in a very limited amount (maybe 50 - 100 maximum a day) when the hotels are not booked to capacity that way locals can enjoy the park and pay less than staying at the hotel but it won't have much of an impact on the hotel guests in the water park.
  17. Looks great and I like how it appears to have a continous cycle of cars compared to most non Disney dark rides where each car is loaded seperate and has horrible capacity. I wish all dark rides were like that.
  18. I witnessed something similar at Dorney last October. The difference is Dorney handled it in a proper manner. I was in line for Dominator and there were 6 teenage girls ahead of me. A mother and her son cut the line to join that group of teenagers. Another mother from another group in line was furious and went to the front to tell the ride grouper that they cut the line and that the person who cut the line hit her. The person who cut got angry and started cursing at the other woman and claimed that if she would have hit the other woman "you would have known it." She said it wasn't cutting because her group was in line and that she did not hit her. The other woman said she elbowed her to get past her in line. Then the woman who cut starts yelling at the grouper because he said it is line cutting. Security was called and there within a few minutes. 4 guards showed up. The family who had said the others cut left the line because they were fusturated and security got the whole group in front of me, the 6 teenagers, the mother and son to leave the line. The teeangers and mother are cursing and another mother in line says to them "I don't appreceiate the language you are using in front of my kids" One of the teenagers says to her "Shut the **** up." Security saw and heard this and then escorted the entire group out of line and out of the park.
  19. That Storm Runner excuse for only running 1 train is a bad one. That seems to be one problem with Hershey, only ok operations. When I went last October they had only 1 train on each side of Lightning Racers despite it being a 35 minute wait and I heard at Springtime In the Park they ran 1 train on all the open coasters causing 45+ minute waits for Comet. They are really only sightseeing rides as both rides only have 1 station and are transportation rides (the monorail does have a station at the chocolate factory but it is not used anymore), the monorail is a great ride since it takes you out of the park and over ZooAmerica. You board the train near the Claw ride and the Monorail near Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge.
  20. It's just been rumored like you said. I think the refurbishments to the ride in the offseason (new chain for example) and the addition of seatbelts hopefully means they plan to keep the ride for a while. That's about the only good thing about the seatbelts as they really slow down loading and capacity is horrible on the ride with a 2 train wait almost 10 minutes.
  21. Great pictures, Kennywood looks like a great park (I'm kind of ashamed to admit I have never been there despite it being in PA)
  22. Dorney is very good about having guards in line even to an extreme. I have seen guards in Talon's switchback part of the queue and the line isn't even out of the station. Same with Hydra. If they see line cutting, they won't hesitate to either send them to the back of the line or even kick them out. Maybe because some of the guards at Dorney carry guns, they are taken more seriously?
