  1. Dorney: Get rid of the no re-ride policy Give Laser a proper station so they can get rid of assigned seating Hershey: Keep Canyon River Rapids and expand the Boardwalk elsewhere Great Adventure: Family rides (not kiddie!) such as antique cars, interactive dark ride etc. Lower food and drink prices, to a somewhat reasonable level Get rid of the no re-ride policy Add single rider lines to major coasters (at least the B&M's)
  2. I don't think Farenheit will get anywhere close to 850 an hour. I wish Hershey would stop adding low capacity rides like this. A full train has to dispatch once every minute just to get 720 an hour. Last October, Comet's line was just down the ramp and slightly into the 1st switchback and it was a 15 minute wait with 2 trains running. There is a sign at the entrance that says it's a 30 minute wait with a full queue (not counting overflow queues they add), which of course is a lot longer than 30 minutes.
  3. It has the lowest capacity of the 3 wooden coasters. The website lists it at 830 riders an hour but most of those are optimal capacity and seem to be inflated so it's probably around 700 an hour.
  4. Great pictures, my only trip to Boardwalk and Baseball was in 1989. I was only 7 and don't even remember seeing any of the coasters there (probably didn't pay attention to them), except for the Zamperla Dragon. The 16 story ferris wheel was amazing and I remember the museum area and the kiddie rides (they had a cool dune buggy ride). I wish it was still around as I'm sure I would enjoy it even more now.
  5. None, I hope to change that next year
  6. ^ I noticed the same thing at Dorney. While in line for Dominator, I heard some people trying to scare their friends telling them about the SFKK accident to the point one of them didn't want to go on and was upset. I explained to them that Dominator is made by a different company and the ride had it's cables inspected. One of them said it's still the same ride and it doesn't matter. I think they should re-locate the ride to a park that doesn't have a drop tower far away from SFKK (Great Adventure?) and people would be willing to ride.
  7. To get my missing credits at Great Adventure, KK, ET, Road Runner Railway and I guess Dark Knight if it's open by then To finally get to Knoebels and get the credits there
  8. Best - Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom Worst - Buger at SFGADV, it was cold and not fully cooked. That was about 10 years ago and since then I have not eaten at the park, not that the $6.49 slice of pizza, $9.99 hamburger and fries or $4.99 soft pretzel would convince me to eat there again anyway.
  9. Doubtful, the GBA is almost dead and Nintendo's focus seems to be on the DS now. I don't think there have been any new Player's Choice games released for the GBA in years. Even Mario Advance 4 is still $29.99
  10. Don't get it, it sucks. It's too late, it was already ordered when Frys has it for $14.99. If I end up not liking it, I'll just eBay it.
  11. That's how I feel, last December I sat in the last car and it was so rough that I had a headache at the end of the ride and actually was looking forward to the ride ending after the first few turns. It used to be one of my favorite coasters.
  12. Great photos, I have not been to IOA yet but I want to visit with those kind of waits. Looks like the perfect type of day for power riding
  13. Ridge Racer 7 for PS3 Madden 07 for PS3 (I want 07 and not 08 because 07 was $9.99 at Best Buy this past weekend) Sonic and the Secret Rings for Wii
  14. Didn't Sony remove the Backwards Compatibility because they were annoyed games were not being released for PS3. For example, Thrillville off the Rails is for PS2, XBox 360, PSP, DS and the Wii. Anyone who wants it on PS3 could just buy the PS2 version if all systems has BC. EBGames.com marked down the 20GB system to $379.99 a month ago and I picked it up. I don't care about Wifi, and my PS2 was broken so a PS3 will full backwards compatibility for under $400 was a great deal for me and now I can get GTA 4 next year. I just wish they would release Beautiful Katamari on PS3 as I have no plans to get a 360. If the PS3 never had backwards compatibility I would have never bought it as I have over 30 PS2 games and was in the middle of GTA San Andreas when my PS2 broke and had unopened PS2 games such as Thrillville.
  15. Dorney Park Fear the Five Shirt http://www.cfmarketplaces.com/acb/stores/2/Black-Fear-the-Five-T-Shirt-P316C0.aspx (I paid $5, not $16.99) Jean shorts
  16. I'm taking a much needed day off, since late August the only other 2 days I have had off were Labor Day and the last Sunday in October. I'm hopefully going to open my Wii that I got 2 months ago for my birthday but haven't had the time to try and then have dinner with my family
  17. GASM, everyone complains about it being rough. When I was at GADV last April, I sat in the front and it wasn't that rough at all. I rode it 4 times that day. Hydra, to an extent. So many say it's boring and forceless. It's still a fun ride and I like how it's so much different than any other B&M.
  18. 7 rides on Talon. It's difficult to get a lot of rides in at Dorney because of CF's no re-ride policy and having to walk down the exit step and then through the empty queue and 2 flights of steps, is tiring and time consuming. My highest total ride count is one day is Dominator at 9 times between the Space Shot and Turbo Drop sides but I wasn't sure if that counted since it isn't a coaster Most consecutive rides is 3 on Sooperdooperlooper. I could have gotten more rides in but I had a very limited amount of time. Otherwise, I would have stayed on for 25+ more rides.
  19. Probably since those boats are new (Pirates at WDW got the same type of boats as well). I liked the old design better, the new boats seem "junkier" (not sure how to put it but not as nice looking as the old ones).
  20. I might ask for the Talon Statix model, although that's a kind of limited gift since they only have models for a few parks now
  21. I'd love to place a bid since Comet is my favorite wooden coaster, but the reserve is probably way out of my price range not to mention another close to $200 for delivery
  22. Talon about 4 hours ago. Last coaster of the season for me.
  23. ^ I agree that's probably the reasoning. I don't see why they don't want you to re-ride at Hershey. It's a waste of time to walk through an empty queue and it's annoying for a ride that has a lot of steps. At Dorney I am used to it already since it's CF policy.
  24. Nice TR, it's always fun to go to Dorney and be able to ride as much as you want. It actually got a little more crowded later in the day. Lines were around 10 minutes for Steel Force and Dominator (I know 10 minutes is nothing but for a Sunday Halloweekends at Dorney that is long). They don't bother with the Fright Zone or using actors on the train on Sundays since there is an 8:00 closing. I don't mind though since Saturday nights when those areas are open bring horrible crowds.
