  1. I am glad that this El Loco isn't the stereotypical El Loco layout! I like it a lot and I can't wait for it to open!
  2. Rides I thought would be good but were bad: Millennium Force - I was so pumped for this ride, since I followed Golden Tickets and saw Millennium Force was #1. I was let down a lot, as I think it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. There wasn't enough airtime and the forces were not as intense as I hoped. Iron Wolf - This looked like a good ride. I rode it and hurt a lot after. Vortex (KI) - This ride looked so intense amd actually started out good, but the ending was extremely painful. Maverick - I loved the layout of this ride before I rode it, and I heard great things about it. I do love the layout of this ride, except the OTSRs completely killed it. It was forceful and had amazing airtime but I got smacked too many times in the head, which ruined it. Rides I thought would be bad but were good: Shockwave (KD) - I have heard terrible things about Shockwave, but while it wasn't an amazing coaster, it was actually a really good ride. Raptor (CP) - I thought this ride looked really fun, but when I rode it I was surprised. I had no idea the ride would be that intense! It is one of my favorite coasters ever. Alpengeist - Same scenario as Raptor, except I think Alpengeist is better. Blue Streak (CP) - I thought Blue Streak would turn out to be a tame coaster. I had no idea what I was in for... Grizzly (KD) - This coaster just looked okay to me. However it turns out to be one of my favorite wooden coasters of all time! Dominator - This was the first coaster I rode in 2012, so after not having ridden a coaster in 10 months or so, I had no idea what to expect. The layout looked so-so for me. Easily one of the best coasters I had ever been on, and a great way to start off 2012! It was waaaaaay more forceful and intense than I thought! Whizzer - I think Whizzer is the #1 most ridden coaster by me, I have been on it many times, but ever time I ride it, it always gets better and better to me. I'm surprised on how awesome a family coaster could be! Apollo's Chariot: I had heard multiple things about this coaster, most of which were about how Apollo's Chariot wasn't as intense as other hypercoasters. I rode it, and it is thr best B&M hypercoaster I had been on! The airtime on this ride was unbelievable. And finally, Magnum XL-200 - When I went to Cedar Point in 2009, I expected Millennium Force to be the star of the park. I actually had no opinion of the Magnum, I just expected it to be another coaster. In fact, when I was waiting over an hour in line for it, I considered leaving it. Then I rode it. Magnum XL-200 was BY FAR the best roller coaster. I had ridden. It wasn't the smoothest or most comfortable of roller coasters, but it somehow worked for it. I love the whole 80s look of the coaster as well. The airtime was amazing, and it got more and more intense as the ride progressed. The tunnels were perfectly placed on the ride, and when it ended, it felt complete and left me wanting more at the same time. By far the best coaster I had ridden.
  3. Looks good! Your two weeks of work paid. Off! I can't wait to see more!
  4. I'm just grateful that Six Flags Great America is getting an RMC Especially one that is going to break three records! Honestly if you think about it, even if its not as good as Outlaw Run, I think it is a great addition to SFGAm. I know I'm stating the obvious but that's how I feel after seeing the construction pictures.
  5. I agree with the wilderness thing, plus Camp Snoopy has more of an "adventure" feel to it. Instead of getting a kiddie park though, I would rather have Michigan's Adventure get a drop tower. They desperately need one. I don't think a Power Tower would be good, maybe an Intamin or ARM drop tower if it's not too expensive.
  6. I think that means the PolerCoaster is going to be built! Hopefully... *fingers crossed*
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Iron Dragon use a vertical transfer track too?
  8. I think this is a great park! I like how you didn't make the Space Shot the stereotypical white color! Shockwave looks great too, but I miss Samurai...
  9. Not only that, but the Ferris Wheel could also be repainted a different color in addition to lights!
  10. That sounds awesome! Especially the One Ride Exit Pass for Grizzly I'm curious why the One Ride Exit Pass is offered for Flying Eagles. That is so random!
  11. Great ride so far! The zero-g roll in the first picture is amazing! I think you should add trees to the ride and also by the twisty part and second launch in the third picture. I can't wait to see what you do next with the ride!
  12. Whatever you do don't show her this thread I think this is a great park! I like how the Virginia Reel isn't painted white or brown In your next report, could you show us a little more of the giant wooden coaster and the black wooden coaster as well? When I first saw this thread I was intrigued by them but then you didn't go into explanation. Other than that I think the park layout it good, and the rides are good as well!
  13. I don't have much time to work on my parks because of school and life and stuff, but I got to work on it today Here's my latest update: SCR2.BMP The Amazing Wonderland SCR4.BMP This is the new Medusa. I lessened the height of the lift hill from 240 feet to 210 feet. It also features a 218 drop! Since the train could not navigate through the rest of the coaster, I modified the rest of the layout and made it more realistic as well. Oh and the coaster's name is still Medusa, not New Medusa, haha SCR7.BMP Medusa's first drop. I love B&M pre-drops SCR5.BMP I also added numerous trees to surround Medusa and to make it look better SCR6.BMP SCR3.BMP I don't think this is very significant, but I added this restaurant/food court that sits next to Medusa. You can also see Medusa's transfer station here as well. I will also add more scenery, trees, and fencing to this area later SCR8.BMP I also built this Vekoma Suspended Swinging Coaster. Right now it is closed; it doesn't have a name and there is no waiting line or path or anything leading to it. I have yet to decide what to do with it, I may even demolish it, but if you have any ideas they would be appreciated! That concludes the latest update of The Amazing Wonderland! All comments and criticisms are appreciated and wanted!! I want to make my parks as great and high-quality as I possibly can!
  14. ^ Iron Wolf is also a fabulous name! Although the coaster itself...
  15. Please tell this to SFOG! If I went I would certainly ride this, and from what I heard it needs RMC love, so please bring it up! I like the 122° drop idea
  16. ^Come to think about it, Speed: the Ride sounds very generic, and Smiler sounds really weird. But may I ask, WHY IS DISASTER TRANSPORT'S NAME UP THERE?
  17. Great report! I have to ask, is the station just going to be demolished or going to be remodeled?
  18. Some random RCDB coasters... Train Glide on Air - Bao Son Paradise Park Superspeed Cool-Cool Bear - Beijing Amusement Park Air Grover - Busch Gardens Tampa Rudolph 2 Loop Coaster - Seoul Land And Dragon Wagon...if you think about it...Dragon Wagon...
  19. The animated pictures and videos show an orange-red track. I remember asking myself when I first saw the POV the morning it was released if it was a hybrid because of the color. Personally I don't mind but I wish Six Flags would switch it up a bit.
  20. It needs to be, haha! I think this is going to be way better than a normal drop tower, I mean, it better portrays the height/acrophobic sensation. I mean...straight down...
  21. Woah! Construction is going so fast! I've been following construction for so long on this ride and now it's almost complete! I hope it's as good as it looks!
  22. I think it could also use a launch system on the track to rocket the coaster back up to the top. I'm not sure if it could use I-box track though.
  23. I am so glad that more of these rides are actually being built! It is a great addition to Holiday Park! I know it's just a model, but the architecture surrounding the ride makes it look better than Superman: Ultimate Flight so far in my opinion! I don't follow this ride that much, so this is probably a dumb question, but is this coaster going where Super Wirbel used to be?
  24. I hope you feel better!
  25. Woahhhh those are great pictures! You should go back there and get pictures of their new wing rider just like those, haha!
