  1. HI I joined like a week ago but I had no idea this page existed till now. So here I am and HI I love roller coasters and have been intrigued by them since about 2005-2006 when I was a little kid. My favorite coaster is Magnum XL-200 (and yes I have ridden Maverick and MF and for some odd reason I still think this is better than them). I also love music, my favorite band is August Burns Red, but I pretty much listen to anything. I'm also a North Sider (aka if you're not from Chicago/Chicagoland that means I'm a Chicago Cubs fan). If anyone wants to talk about roller coasters or anything feel free.
  2. Thrift store, although that's a close one. If Mall of America were to lose its lease to Nickelodeon, would you rather have the park themed to Snoopy/Peanuts (again) or to rock n' roll (Hard Rock Park Parte Deux)?
  3. ^ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canton_Tower http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratosphere_Tower According to these pages, Canton Tower (to the top) is 1,969 feet and Stratosphere Tower (to the top) is 1,149 feet. So yes, Canton Tower is taller. And that ride looks insane. My personal favorite freefall is Drop Tower at King's Island, with the most insane drop. I think Pitt Fall at Kennywood is worthy of a mention because imo it had the best view. RIP Pitt Fall.
  4. I've only been on 1 wing coaster: X-Flight. I'm not gonna lie, most of the ride was forceless. But X-Flight was really fun, and I loved every second of it (esp. the fly-through). I think wing coasters, based on this ride alone and reviews from what others said about other wing coasters, are meant to be fun rides and not intense rides. IMO a ride doesn't have to be intense to be a great ride.
  5. Pandemonium Which would you rather have remodified with a High Five element: American Eagle or Colossus?
  6. Wow. And I thought Windseeker was intimidating.
  7. Today I joined TPR Although when I started a new topic I found out there was already one like it But that's OK
  8. Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the All State Arena last December. Three hours of great music and crazy pyrotechnics. It was great.
  9. Bobs at Riverview Park in Chicago. From what I saw in pictures, this ride looked completely insane.
  10. I was just looking at some defunct parks/roller coasters today on rcdb and I was thinking about roller coasters that I never rode and, because they are gone, I will never get a chance to ride. If you could go on any roller coaster/other ride that has been razed, what would you go on? Mine would be the Bobs at Riverview Park in Chicago. My uncle told me he rode that a lot and that it was the best ride in the park, and, from pictures, that ride looked completely insane.
  11. ^Yay thank yew, although I'm busy those days so I can't go. Sounds like fun though
  12. It just sounds like the only Star Trek related thing is the 16th attraction, and that the rest of the park will be a regular park. So why are they billing it as a Star Trek Park?
  13. I just joined today, so I'm new to this, but what is CoasterMania?
  14. Magnum at Cedar Point. I actually like it better than MF and Maverick, not that those rides are bad.
