  1. Also, you know you're a coaster nerd if your photo of your wife in your wallet is an on-ride photo on a roller coaster. You know you're a coaster nerd if, when in a van, ride with the armrests down in order to simulate riding in a B&M hypercoaster. You know you're a coaster nerd if you've download stereotypical roller coaster screams and sit in your room for 2 hours looping them on your Boombox while you imagine you're on a roller coaster.
  2. Granted, but Lzzy Hale gets sick and is temporarily replaced by Lacey Sturm. (In case you don't know who she is, she used to be in Flyleaf.) I wish a band like Red, Skillet, TFK, Chevelle, Halestorm, or something like them would perform at Six Flags Great America instead of Disney bands for 10 year old girls.
  3. El Toro. Racer (King's Island) or Racer (Kennywood)?
  4. Granted, but they build all Vekoma rides. I wish SFMM opened a bunch of good flat rides.
  5. I'm happy this park is re-opening. And I think Twisted Twins is getting some RMC treament, maybe with a zero-G roll?
  6. I've always wanted to go on a caterpillar ride. I wonder if any company will attempt to remake something similar to Caterpillars. (And I don't mean Himalaya rides). I hope Canobie's runs for years unend...
  7. I don't know, but it would make scientific sense that the first row has ridiculous airtime. Roller coaster trains use the "whip" effect, meaning that the farthest end moves more distance than the the closest end at exactly the same speed. The back of the train on a roller coaster, or in this case the front row on Viper cuz its backwards, gets better airtime than the front car (or in this case, the back since it's reversed). That's why a lot of people (and me ) wait in line for the back seat on crazy-airtime roller coasters. Does this makes sense? And I'll try to get on Viper backwards, but it's not etched in stone.
  8. ^do you mean "closer to me"? Granted, but a lot of people have moved closer as well because of CP, and the only house you find near Cedar Point is a little hut made of sticks right next to Lake Erie and it constantly gets attacked by swarms of mosquitos and mayflies. I wish there were more shopping malls with major amusement parks inside of them (and I don't mean kiddie parks with coin-operated carousels...).
  9. Then maybe they would finally build that rumored GCI coaster! What if Chicago built a giant tower with a roller coaster spiraling around it (like the one proposed for Las Vegas by S&S).
  10. Raptor at Gardaland, cuz I've already been on CP's Raptor. Giant Dipper (Belmont) or Giant Dipper (Santa Cruz)?
  11. About the flying coaster, randomman295, that would actually be a great ride I think. You should show it to a company, or if you want to do that on your own, pleez do so. Good luck with that if you are going to try to bring that to reality!
  12. Is Viper backwards better than or worse than Viper forwards? I'm in debate whether I should go this year and check it out.
  13. ^That ride looks fun. Reminds me of a 21st century Paratrooper. And the park looks great. I don't think the LSM will outbeat iSpeed or Maverick, but it looks fun!
  14. Defunct: Disaster Transport and Wildcat (Cedar Point) Relocated: Iron Wolf (SFGAm)
  15. You know you're a coaster nerd when you're at a high school football game and you think, "I think a Gerstlauer Eurofighter would fit perfectly here..."
  16. A stick figure, for those who haven't figured out. I got the idea from my religion teacher. He switched his desktop background every day, and this was the only background that wasn't racist or saying "Get Out of My Classroom." His was a black stick figure on a white background, so I switched it up a bit.
  17. Granted, but it would be one of the used Pandemonium/Big Spin coasters from Six Flags, and the park where the Gerstlauer spinner is located closes and Zamperla buys them out and bulldozes the Gerstlauer spinning coaster. I wish Cedar Point would build a giant pier on Lake Erie with tons of rides!
  18. Otto probably. Pigs or guinea pigs.
  19. Then I would probably put it on every single post. What if Cedar Point built a pier extending over Lake Erie?
  20. You know you're a coaster nerd if you look at every city skyline and wish Stratosphere Tower was in every single one of them! (well, maybe theme park nerd then, since High Roller is gone ).
  21. That would be awesome!!!!!! What if Vekoma rides were smooth?
  22. It would probably be called The Last of Us: The Ride, then when Six Flags loses its lease on it, it will probably become another Apocalypse-themed roller coaster. The sad story of most themed roller coasters at Six Flags... (that is, if they're not DC comics themed) What if Bizarro (SFGAd) became Medusa again?
  23. I would rather be stuck on top of MF. Less chance of being struck by lightning. If you could go back in time, would you rather ride the Aeroplane Coaster or the Riverview Bobs?
  24. NO. Remember that B&M built Psyclone (SFMM)'s trains, and from what I've heard/watched about Psyclone...NO Will there be another clone/near clone of the Coney Island Cyclone ever again?
