  1. Looks great! This is just what Nigloland needs!
  2. This could be a way to bring more people into the theater.
  3. ^Exactly! The track, not support determines a wood vs. steel coaster! Goliath is wood!
  4. _koppen, what is the ride/structure in the first picture surrounde by a red, circular fence with white structures?
  5. It just says they are relocating it. Where do you think it could go? On RCDB the closest major park is Phantasialand, but I don't think it will go there.
  6. Those photos are so sad, even though the park seemed weird! It's just sad to see an abandoned theme park when it could be in use.
  7. They probably advertise it as the tallest, since even though it's tied with SFOT's Sky Screamer, it's still "taller" than any other Sky Screamers, and SFNE can say that because there is no Sky Screamer that is "taller."
  8. This IS interesting! I wonder what they can do. If I were to guess, they will probably build a wooden roller coaster and improve the water park. That's just a guess; I have no idea.
  9. "I got 10 JUGs!" "No I got 12 JUGs!"
  10. Somebody just said they went to Six Flags Great America and rode American Eagle last week.
  11. I like that idea! Maybe they can make an Rolling Thunder-esque comeback? I really have no idea, but I would to see an American park build a major racing coaster (hopefully with a High Five) and it would be perfect for SFGAd (although I'm not sure realistic, but hey why not ). I mean there were a lot of people who wanted to save Rolling Thunder so this could help...I think... Then SFGAd's second coaster could be either a ZacSpin or some other family coaster, or they could build a relocated coaster.
  12. When I was about 4 or 5 years old, I had to opportunity to ride a Wisdom Orient Express/Dragon Wagon at the Lake County Fair, but I was too scared!
  13. For sure! I would also like to see Viper, American Eagle, Rebel Yell, and Grizzly (KD) remove their headrests, and I would love to see all five get non-individual lap bars (like Cornball Express or Hoosier Hurricane) just to make them even classier. As for track modifications, KD's Hurler and Hoosier Hurricane desperately need them.
  14. The first inversion is going up!!!! 'Nuff said
  15. "Rainbow in the Dark (Live)" - DIO I can't decide which is better - this or the original
  16. ican'twaitican'twaitICAN'TWAIT Construction is going along well! I know I've said this thousands of times but Goliath looks more massive each time I see it!
  17. Go Bananas!
  18. Random but I noticed Six Flags updated the picture on the Goliath ride page: http://content.sixflags.com/comingin2014/greatamerica/goliath/
  19. Even thiugh this company is gone, I think Arrow Dynamics is the most successful. They introduced the first tubular-tracked steel coaster, first successful inversions, early stand-up coasters, first mine trains, and the first hypercoaster (excluding Moonsault Scramble).
  20. Well, it's because it's the first Mega Lite-style coaster in America, it's New Kentucky Kingdom, and it's coaster construction in general! That's why! Haha I can't wait for Lightning Run to open! It looks great!
  21. I think it should be! I mean, it runs on rails, is powered by gravity, and there's even a roller coaster-style brake run!
  22. ^Correct me if I'm wrong but the motors in Whizzer only power it up the lift hill, not through the whole course. If it's not in use after the lift hill, it doesn't matter. The lift hill/launch section doesn't count in the definition because there are so many ways to bring a coaster to full speed! I think Whizzer is gravity-powered (except for some brakes) after the lift hill. Correct me if I'm wrong.
