Due to where I fly (out of Orlando), it's usually Southwest (MDW) or JetBlue (NYC). Which is nice, because both are considered "low-cost carriers" and have free checked baggage as of now.

^ Funny you post that. I just bought tickets to see Avenue Q when I'm up in NYC this weekend. Seeing at New World Stages, I'm pretty excited. NWS is a much smaller theater (it's considered Off-Broadway), but it's still very nice. I've seen Rock of Ages there before, and am very excited for Avenue Q. Additionally, saw Wicked last weekend down in Miami on it's national tour. Glinda and Elphaba were both outstanding. I was pretty spoiled growing up in NYC, but I think the quality of the touring shows has gotten better and better over the years. It's amazing how they go into a new venue and can completely transform it!

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?
bbomser replied to Iron Wolf 90-11's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Maybe it's 75 degrees, or something similar. But yea, not 65, no clue what I was thinking. But I do remember that it is usually colder than Typhoon Water to simulate the "Melted Ski Resort" feeling. -
Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

Plenty others have said it best. Both have their strong suits, it all depends on what you're looking for. Also, know that the water at Blizzard is kept a bit cooler than normal (I think it's usually around 65 Degrees, someone correct me if I'm wrong.) Additionally, I recall hearing something about being able to "park hop" between the two. In that case, DO BOTH! If you do go to both, I would recommend Blizzard first as the line for Summit Plummet can get pretty lengthy early as opposed to Crush n Gusher at Typhoon. -
It's annoying as all 3 tasks are different lengths. Still looking to travel the first time. Haven't been paying attention that much since it's not timed and there is a timed TSTO event going on...

Well, after a while you run out of the other prizes to get! Haha. That was actually nice, as there weren't any prizes that came multiple times. So your chances of getting Cupid got better after each box you opened! You just needed to have the right number of Cards to get the number of boxes you needed.

^ From what I read the only tasks that stay are Arnold's or Benedict's. Which stinks for those that didn't get Hot Meg in time. There was a quest that needed Cupid and Hot Meg, which was hard to do while working on their individual questlines!

TPR Facebook Questions

Might be the best feedback today! Glad I could be of service to you! It's the disdain for other people that strengthens the friendships we all make! (Well, at least for me anyway) -
TPR Facebook Questions
bbomser replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) a) They auto-play on my desktop. b) No auto-play on my mobile device. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? Once in a while I'll share something. Usually if it's a part of a contest (BoC). I'll also share the videos that have already gone"viral". 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) I'll share just about anything, but mostly news stories and videos. Not so much photos. 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? Depends on the video. Most news releases I'll watch the whole thing, but as far as POV's not so much. I'll usually watch for about a minute. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Not that important, but I won't watch anything that doesn't have a thumbnail. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? Not a fan of FB not showing me the posts of pages that I like. But I do understand that they want to make money and advertising is a huge moneymaker for them. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? Nope, I pretty much search it out and love what you guys post. I'm particularly fond of the times when you point out how ignorant other people are! -

Nope. Closest White Castle is in Tennessee (I think). We do have Krystal Burger down here though, but it still isn't the same. -
I was collecting hate hearts when I realized that I already had the Insane Asylum! So back I go to collect all the love hearts again. Hope I'm able to get Hot Meg. How many Love hearts do we need for her?

So of course I sent everyone on 24 hour tasks last night... Great Job by me...

There is no humidity "season" in FL. It's always humid, just bearable at times (like this week when it gets "cold"). I don't see this happening outside, as there are way too many safety concerns for the GP. Locals aren't going to use this, as I assume that as the surface isn't snow, it can ruin people's skis. I'll chalk it up as another dream project. But as for the pipe dream that this turns into an indoor ski resort like in Dubai, I'm in!

Of course you are!

And they keep adding more and more things to this complex. Here's the newest addition, a 450 ft drop tower! From the press release (www.wesh.com/orlandomyway/on-the-town-orlando/worlds-tallest-drop-tower-coming-to-skyplex-attraction-at-idrive/31233684 -
I'm just waiting on 2 more items for Ida (1 Hormone & 1 Handbag). Should hopefully drop today. I'm still not going to start the next character unlock until we find out if it's timed or not. I know others have posted about them, but the folks over at Family Guy Addicts do a great job in terms of getting info out to us ASAP. It's worth a google search.

^ Hey, at least they released what all the prizes are gonna be so that doesn't happen again!
-
They just added the third prize, which is for Joe. The first two it was the hearts that was a building. For the third prize the broken hearts are the building. I had about 80 hearts before they added it, and they set me back to 74 due to glitches. As I want the building, I have to get back to 0, and then 75 broken hearts. A bit annoying but it's doable. But it does reset to 0 after you get each prize.

I wouldn't exactly call it "soda", but the last non-alcoholic carbonated beverage that I had was an Old Fashioned New York Egg Cream. I have a sodastream, which makes fresh seltzer! Delicious!

^ Same. It seems that the Love side of things is buildings, and Hate is just Decorations. I also noticed that what seems to be the final "Love" prize is Hot Meg, so that could be interesting. //EDIT: TinyCo just released the next Love/Hate Prize (Joe). Hate is now the building, and love is a Decoration. Also, if you had more than 75 in either direction, they reduced it to 74. Screwed me over because I had 81 love and was reset to 74. But now to get the building I need 149 Hate... That sucks.\\ I just unlocked Pat and created Peter's new costume. Had Bonnie dancing for items for both of em! Ida is in the process of being unlocked now!
