Huh, didn't even think about the mine trains or boat rides, or 3D Shows, or well, you get the point. That being said, would it be too much to ask to have a Character Meet w/ Q*Bert? How about being able to get a drink at the "Root Beer Tapper"? The possibilities with Wreck-It Ralph go beyond Sugar Rush Racers.

^ I don't necessarily have a problem with it either, but think about it. It wouldn't be just the ride that's the same, I'm envisioning making the car the same way that you currently do with TT, just with Candy instead of outlandish vehicle parts. I remember when watching the movie and thinking about how to turn it into a ride.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
bbomser replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some of the things people say don't even qualify for GP comments. I read a line somewhere once, and it really resonates on this thread (or perhaps the entire internet). "Think of how smart the average person is, then realize that half the people are dumber than that..." -
I'll jump on the Wreck-It Ralph bandwagon. WDAS has been putting out some great stuff the past couple years. And as others have said, the amount of tie-ins is insane with Ralph. As for Springs Racers, would they really bring another version of Test Track to WDW? I'm not completely ruling it out, but would it make sense to have two similar rides located near each other? I think that it will be fine, but just a thought.

Not sure if I understood this entirely. Is this a race all over DHS that's likely to be impacted by a lot of construction? Or are you suggesting the actual Tower of Terror's days might be numbered as well? I just can't see that happening. It's one of the biggest draws, usually has a huge line, and one of the only high thrill attractions at the park. The only attraction there I can think of being less likely to close would be the newly upgraded Star Tours. I don't make the decisions for the park, of course. Just hard for me to imagine anything happening to Tower of Terror. Sorry for confusion, I'm talking about the race itself. It's centered around DHS, and all that it offers. There's also a after race party that goes on until about 3-4 AM. They might have to re-route other RunDisney Races that usually go through DHS for a little bit as well.

Just adding to the revamp and construction going on, when they announced the RunDisney races for 2015, there was one that was noticeably absent, the Tower of Terror 10-Miler. It was quite a popular race, but there were no confirmations about why the race wasn't included. Obvious rumors regarding the closures and removals of late. I think it will be interesting the next couple of years. I did hear something that we shouldn't expect an announcement regarding what's going on until the Summer Preview event in 2015.

^ That sounds disgusting.

Bourbon flavored beer is weird. Though I've had beer that's been aged in bourbon barrels (Might be what you're talking about, not sure). That's delicious. You can usually taste the smokey notes from the bourbon and then the bite at the finish. If done right, a true barrel-aged beer is delicious!

Woah!, Just got 30 Donuts for shooting down a UFO!

Us Americans seem to find new things to add pumpkin and pumpkin spice to. I was at a beer class at my local Total Wine a couple weeks ago, and the guy mentioned that about 5 years ago, there were maybe 10-15 pumpkin beers, now there are maybe 10-15 brewers who don't have a pumpkin beer! That being said, I've tried the Jack-O Traveler, and it is now my favorite pumpkin beer. Shipyard Pumpkinhead is a close second, followed by Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin. What's everyone else's favorite Pumpkin beers?

The World Series rarely involves the "best" teams. Usually, the two teams are at the right place at the right time. Consider the Royals, Ned Yost (Manager) was thought to be the only thing holding them back from potentially being the best team in baseball. His team has beaten The A's, The Angels, and then the O's. All three teams are managed by much better coaches. One could also argue that those three teams are better than the Giants. Regardless, Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. The Royals are built for the playoffs. My Prediction: KC in 5. What are everyone else's predictions? EDIT: I'll list everyone's predictions here: bbomser: KC in 5 Jew: KC in IDK pdcon: SF in 6 Meteornotes: KC in 5 Send in yours!

I got lucky with the kids. Definitely more difficult than the stewies. I'm thinking that there's probably going to be another "stink-bomb kids" quest sometime, so I'm gonna stockpile the stink-bombs.

So we got Predator, now we can buy Alien for 200 clams. I had a Google Play gift card, so I'm considering it...

ChrisHanKwanSivus Gift Exchange 2013!
bbomser replied to Brandy524's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would love to do this again! It was a great time participating, and I loved my gift from last year. I understand if it can't be done due to some bad apples, but maybe an invite only could work! If so, I'm definitely in! -
Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread
bbomser replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ You talking about the bobotie? I didn't have that this year, but ernierocker is right, both that Yard Bird and the Berbere Beef were amazing! -
Just to add something, there is supposedly a policy for WDW AP's for FP+. The system is only supposed to allow 7 Days of FP+ in a 30-Day period. I haven't actually tested this yet, but that's a policy from Disney. Also, I should add that as a FL-Resident AP, I can book WDW FP+ 60 days out. I believe it's longer for Resort Guests, but not entirely sure. Regardless, people will bitch no matter what the situation. Sure it does take some spontaneity out of a trip, but it seems that the majority of guests actually enjoy this.

The Official TPR Video Thread!
bbomser replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not to side track, but I think that the ease of access with some social media channels has simplified the process to discover idiots. But yes Robb, people are that stupid. I think they've been here all along, it's just easier to spot them now... -
I do believe that the last soda I had was Beverly (Club Cool, EPCOT). YUM!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Was able to get 7DMT during an extended weekend trip to Disney last weekend. Had some family friends in town and they loved it! -
Mikkeller Bacon Rauchbier Wasn't as smokey as I assumed it would by the name, nor did it taste like bacon. But it was a delicious rauchbier (if you like that style).

I must have gotten really lucky with everything. Unlocked everyone, now just working on their quests. I did buy Predator w/ Clams though. I find it a useful purchase. I do find it annoying that some quests are for actions that haven't unlocked yet. But, I guess that makes the game take longer (which is a good thing).

That's my plan for tonight. Going to Epcot Food and Wine for an extended weekend. So I'll have something to do while waiting in the ungodly food lines!

I'm just waiting until I have 30 Bones myself before even starting to dig her up. I will make sure that I have her hopefully before the portal changes tomorrow night though.
