  1. So is this going to be a continuing problem for Dollywood the rest of the season, or when the cooler Fall weather comes, will this problem go away? The reason I'm asking is I really want to visit Dollywood again in 2016...Just wondering when the best time would be to do so when the rides aren't shut down.
  2. I use it only to follow TPR and a handful of other pages...I don't post on twitter. I check twitter mainly for news as that's what it is good for. But if I post anything, I'd rather use facebook and instagram.
  3. I hope it's ready to open by Memorial Day weekend next year cause that's when I'll be visiting. Looks awesome, can't wait to ride it!
  4. Well 2016 isn't finished for me yet...I still got a trip planned to Dollywood in November and SFOG in December. But as far as 2017 goes... Definitely: Cozumel, Mexico (Cruise) SFOG Kings Island SFOT SFFT Sea World San Antonio Kemah Boardwalk Pleasure Pier ZDT's Busch Gardens Williamsburg Virginia Beach Kentucky Kingdom Kennywood Niagara Falls Possibly: Cedar Point Kings Dominion Carowinds Six Flags America Beech Bend Canada's Wonderland Dollywood
  5. My family on Nighthawk @ Carowinds.
  6. Six Flags Over Georgia always opens in March for weekend operations. The operations are shit, but the park is open usually around the second or third weekend of March.
  7. Kings Island is just an epic night park all together. I love that this park stays open so late in October...It's an amazing experience!
  8. This and this. If you have a ride as wildly popular as Shenandoah Lumber Company (and every Log Flume basically) and you want it to last forever then you can and should make it last forever. Yeah, I finally got to ride the Shenandoah Lumber Company Log Flume this year and it was awesome. We rode it in a downpour so it made it even more special. I seriously hope that screamscape rumor is bullshit. Parks need log flumes. They need to build their B&M elsewhere.
  9. El Toro. Everybody seems to love this ride and I admit it was a good ride...But no where near what people claim it to be imo. X2. It was an alright ride, but still not what I was expecting hearing people talk about it. I was sort of disappointed by it.
  10. Glad to see Fury 325 get best steel coaster. It's my personal #2 but I'm okay seeing it #1. Out of the 50 listed, I've rode 30 of the steel coasters...And I really don't agree much with the Golden Ticket Awards. They got Intimidator 305 #17 and that's just plain ole horseshit. But whatever. Congrats Fury 325!
  11. I can see them putting in a Batman 4D FF coaster in that bottom spot where the go cart track is in 2018.
  12. Wasn't expecting a waterpark addition to this park. Although, I am always glad to see a water coaster added anywhere. They are fantastic rides!
  13. It seems Six Flags from here on out will name every new attraction something from the DC universe unless it's a water park addition or in La Ronde. I don't really have a problem with this because I love DC. But this is a great addition for SFA. With Valleyfair also getting one next year, it's nice to see these being added to parks everywhere. I always ride them when I visit...It's kind of like a must ride along with the coasters.
  14. Probably the best flat ride a park could get. I love these things! Great addition for SFDK. But the one in Montreal is closer to me. And the one in SFOT is even closer. So, I won't be traveling back to SFDK anytime soon for this. But the locals there are going to love it!
  15. I feel like all my comments on these forums this morning are clones about the clones being cloned at Six Flags parks.
  16. Usually White Water has their announcement with the other Six Flags parks. Curious if they get anything new next year. But as far as SFOG goes, I am very happy with this addition. I haven't ridden a JLBFM yet so I'm glad I'll experience it first at my home park. I know a lot of people wanted a coaster but I am perfectly fine with this addition...And it'll look great next to Superman. Now...if only they would get Superman fully operational, get more shade and paint it. *fingers crossed*
  17. This is a very fun coaster, but I'll probably check out the one in SFOT instead and if it isn't ready when I go, then I'll just ride Batman again at SFFT. So, really no reason to travel to upper Chicago land next year. But still a great addition for this park.
  18. Well no reason to come to SFGAd next year when SFOG is getting the same thing. I haven't got to ride a JLBFM yet so I'm very anxious to try it out...But at my home park I guess. And I can see this happening from a lot of people...When a chain adds a lot of clones, it doesn't entice us to travel.
  19. I do like these 4D Free Fly coasters but SF definitely is getting clone happy. Sad there was no RMC additions next year from the chain but at least no more super loops. But overall, I like the SF additions even though a lot of them are the same.
  20. I don't mind Six Flags adding these coasters to all their parks...I loved Batman at SFFT. These 4D Free Fly coasters are pretty rad. The only problem is they probably won't have these coasters ready until Summer. I don't want to be in Texas during the Summer...Too damn hot! I really wish SF would hurry up and have this coaster ready in March.
  21. All I know is I went in July, and the whole time I was there the line hardly moved. I got there early and rode it early with hardly no one in line and I still waited over an hour to ride. They weren't filling the queues and sending up trains half full. The person allowing people on the ramp wasn't paying attention and wasn't sending people like they should have. I talked to guest services about this and they had no excuse. It was the worst experience of the whole day. Everything else about the park was wonderful. But I will never forget the terrible operations I experienced with X2. If they got it fixed now, then awesome. But seriously...Those kids working that ride could give a shit.
  22. If you're going to SFMM for the first time, definitely ride X2 first. It has the most horrible operations that I've ever experienced on a coaster anywhere in my whole life. Ride it first, get it out of the way because when you see it, you'll fall in love, but after you ride it, you'll break up with it. I'd also skip the VR on New Revolution and just enter in the exit and get a front row seat without waiting...It's a lot better experience. From there, either take the tram up the hill to ride Superman or go to FT or TC.
  23. What about Lex? My favorite ride by far. It's an inexpensive form of base jumping. And you get to see other people almost have a heart attack. LEX ISN'T A COASTER
  24. Well on the discussion of which coasters are a skip it or not...I'll be honest, I could skip every other coaster in that park and just ride Twisted Colossus all day long...That is a phenomenal ride! But seriously, I've only been to the park one time and rode every coaster there excluding the 4 kiddie coasters...So my list would be... 1) Twisted Colossus - Ride it as much as you can 2) FT - 2nd best ride in the park imo, also ride it as much as you can(I hate that it gets called YOLO...Cause YOLO is stupid and FT isn't stupid) 3) Superman - This was a fun ride...I could ride this quite a bit and never tire of it. Definitely ride at least once. 4) Apocalypse - This was actually my fourth favorite coaster at SFMM...Don't know why this coaster gets so much hate...It was awesome. A little rougher than Dollywood's Thunderhead but similar. I thought it was a great ride. 5) Tatsu - Having ridden every B&M flying coaster in America, I have to say this one is my favorite. I love how high off the ground it is. This is a definite ride. 6) Scream - I wish this was in a better part of the park. It's seems kind of forgotten about where it is even though it's by TC. But it's a fun and worth the ride. 7) Goliath - I actually really liked this coaster. After riding Titan at SFOT, I wasn't sure if I would because Titan isn't the greatest. But Goliath at SFMM is a totally different experience. I would definitely ride this over again. 8) Green Lantern - I would rate this coaster higher than most people give it credit for. Yeah, it's heavy on the breaks and doesn't spin like it's supposed too, but it was still a fun ride imo although uncomfortable. It's a hit or miss. 9) New Revolution - The VR flat out sucked on this ride...Not worth the wait. But on the other hand, walking straight on by entering the single rider line and getting front row immediately was awesome. But after one ride both ways, I can see this as a skip coaster. 10) The rest of the coasters are definitely skip rides. Batman is a clone, if you rode one, you've rode them all. Riddler's Revenge is a stand up and stand up's just aren't that fun imo. Viper is one of the most forceful arrow coasters I've ever ridden, was not a fan at all. X2 just sucks...I totally was not expecting such a bumpy ride. Glad I got the credit so I never have to ride that thing again. Goldrusher is a skip...Not the best mine train I've rode. And Ninja was okay, but definitely a one and done kind of ride. So I can see why people say that half the coasters are skip worthy. Seriously, I can't imagine this park without Twisted Colossus...I honestly think it's the only coaster they have that can compete with Cedar Point's best which is Maverick of course.
  25. I would love to see SF RMC Le Monstre...La Ronde needs it.
