1. Yup. Just fine. SeaWorld reports that their attendance and revenue are down in Q3 2017 SeaWorld reports that their attendance and revenue are down in Q2 2017 SeaWorld (SEAS) Q1 2017 Loss Wider Than Expected SeaWorld sees drops in attendance, revenue in Q4 2016 Crappy Q3 2016 Conference Call Transcript SeaWorld shares sink to record low as attendance keeps falling Q2 2016 SeaWorld reports net loss, says Florida attendance down (Q1 2016) ... and so on, and so on But yeah. SeaWorld is doing fine! I too am sick of people "assuming there's a problem" just because the stock price is tanking in an otherwise spectacular market and the park has been directly reporting major attendance and revenue drops every single quarter for years. Fake news! I get this reply. It makes sense you would say this in reply to my post. I agree with the stock going down and attendance dropping. But I was talking about attractions being closed. There hasn't been any confirmation on why attractions are closed. There is confirmation on layoffs. But when people say an attraction is being closed down because of that, it isn't confirmed. It's a possibility, but not confirmed. That was my point.
2. Apparently, you can rent a wheel chair at BGT and you, your family and friends can skip the lines without showing any documentation that you're disabled. I observed this while waiting for Cheetah Hunt this past Sunday. Two large groups did this back to back and it was amazing how quick the process was. Not sure BGT is doing it right. I'm thinking there must be a dr's note or something. This park needs to address this.
3. And you know this how? Did the dipping dots guy give you some inside knowledge? Dude, Cedar Fair has been on a mission to rid themselves of stand up coasters. Common sense should tell you the last one is getting it too. It may get converted eventually...but not for 2019. Something will be going in the area that White Water Falls, Sand Dune Lagoon & Thunder Road's station was, including the flyers that are on hiatus this year while construction takes place. We'll see... Cedar Fair let that empty space sit at Canada's Wonderland for awhile...I'm guessing they'll do the same thing here at Carowinds. Canada's Wonderland is getting the huge investment in 2019. Dorney looks to be doing the same thing Knotts did. Too many patterns here. The stand up conversion every 2 years is looking very promising. I can see your prediction happening in 2020 though. But CGA also may be getting that hyper too soon. Carowinds may have to wait for their next big coaster in 3 - 4 years. " Project Alpha", which is shown in the permits filed (shown 3 pages ago), were filed in South Carolina (York County). Vortex, Hurler and the hotel are all in North Caroina. If it were a Vortex or Hurler conversion, the permit (s) would have been filed in NC (Mecklenburg County). The project will be in the area noted in my previous reply. There will be no Vortex conversion in 2019. Bah...That's for the hotel. They could always file another permit later. I'm still keeping hope alive. Vortex in 2019!
4. I was a SeaWorld Orlando Saturday and it's hard to imagine that this park is struggling...Cause it was packed! Every show was full, all the rides had wait times and the pathways were jammed. Lines for food and drinks were even long. It was this way at Busch Gardens too on Sunday. Both places were incrediaby crowded. People still love these parks! So, I'm not a believer of people who say attractions are being shut down for cost cutting measures. Maybe, there's a plan for future development in those areas of the park. Getting tired of people assuming shit and acting like there's a problem. SeaWorld looks to be doing just fine! Also, Journey to Atlantis is open again! Was happy to see that this past weekend. But, the Sky Tower is back to charging money again. $2 a ride if you're not a pass holder.

7. A new hotel and a floorless conversion of Vortex in 2019. Nice!
8. I could care less if parks change the name of their rides...A lot of times it comes with a repaint and much needed repairs. Racer 75 sounds pretty cool to me...But I have to admit...Apple Zapple sounds dumb as hell. But whatever...I'm good with it.
9. Looks like I'm gonna postpone my first Canada trip til next year then. Hopefully this park will have a new entrance and a new coaster next year. I'll wait for that.
10. Glad to hear The Joker is open for HITP. The website doesn't have it listed. Going here in about 4 weeks and can't wait to try out the new ride.
11. I went to the City Museum in St Louis about 3 years ago and it was amazing experience and we got there about 2 hours before closing. Can't wait to go back soon.
12. January SeaWorld San Antonio Six Flags Over Texas Busch Gardens Tampa SeaWorld Orlando May Cedar Point June Silver Dollar City July Six Flags America Kings Dominion Busch Gardens Williamsburg September Canada's Wonderland October Six Flags Over Georgia
13. I don't vote for politicians but I do vote in TPR.
14. When I first started this hobby, these awards meant a lot to me and gave me some direction on where to start first. But after riding nearly 300 coasters now, these awards now mean very little to me. After experiencing a lot of what's listed, I now have my own opinion which a lot of I disagree with. But, even though I disagree with the winners, I still pay attention to the awards every year. I do agree that awards are good for the industry, but maybe the golden tickets aren't the best representation of what the industry deserves. I think we could do better.
15. Disney has a California Adventure Park...Why not name Hollywood Studios, Disney's Florida Adventure?
16. I'm a huge DC comics fan so I love all the DC themes Six Flags is doing. But I do hope they don't have two rides themed to Harley Quinn. I'm just wondering what other villain could be used here. Batman has a lot of them.
17. SFOG being my home park, I absolutely hated Georgia Cyclone aand couldn't wait for it to have the RMC treatment. SFOG needed this to help compete with Dollywood and Carowinds. I don't care if it is shorter...This coaster looks beautiful with some amazing elements. Can't wait to ride next year!
18. I don't have any little kids but I realize this is a great addition for the park. I'm also glad to see the gliders moved out of the kiddie section. Hopefully the line will have less waiting cause of this. I never thought Vortex would get converted this year. It'll definitely get done in 2019.
19. Awesome addition...Would love to see a POV. I think their setup for this live announcement was a little funky though. Make a quick announcement then end video. It was a little weird. Anyways...I like the coaster. And was it me, or did he kind of sh*t on Dare Devil DIve with Hangtime's stats. I thought it was funny.
20. God this new coaster looks awesome as hell...Wished I could ride it next year. Oh wait, I can...I'm going to Texas! Who cares if they're identical, they're both originals in my book! Love RMC!
21. This looks like the best RMC ever built! Can't wait to ride!
22. Awesome! Twisted Timbers looks amazeballs!
23. Never been to this park, and this doesn't make me want to go anytime soon. I'm sure it's a great addition...but come on, at least give this park a kiddie ride or something.
24. I won't say anything negative about the park, I'm sure the area will look great...But I will say this. I've went to many parks and have rode many Larson Looper and I've hated every single one. They are horrible rides. But I still ride them. And I'll probably ride this one to when I come to Valleyfair.
25. No, you actually didn't do it right. But I wouldn't go as far as to call your logic, "crap". Speculate how you like...It's all fun anyways. No need to take it all serious.
