  1. It sounds like someone wasn't allowed to jump on the bed when she was a kid. Or have friends with trampolines.
  2. Pfft, screw that. It ain't a real WDW visit unless I get to see my main man, Millard Fillmore! #Fillnatic
  3. ^ It's also consistently the longest line in the park, so the sooner you head over, the better. Truth. MAJOR TRUTH. Sausage and peppers sandwich FTW. I also recommend it for the novelty of it, but keep in mind that the shows this time of year are targeted to a specific audience. I, an agnositc, somewhat cyncial, coastal elitist, clearly am not. As someone whose done theater before, though, I can certainly appreciate the quality of the productions.
  4. I really like this addition. I feel the chosen location is perfect, glad to see it getting developed.
  5. The row for larger guests on Wild Eagle is row 4.
  6. Lightning Rod. So worth the drive.
  7. ^ Not exactly. If both sides happened to be open simultaneously, one side would launch while the other side was finishing its cycle, returning to the station. Launching both sides at once drew too much power for the utility infrastructure to handle. What you're seeing in that photo is most likely one train going forward and the other going backwards.
  8. Just got back to my hotel room after spending a few hours at Dollywood. Got my first rides in on Lightning Rod. Oh my god, is this coaster insane. The launch into the drop, the overbanked turn and the quadruple down all elevate it to the upper elite of the coasters I've been on. I'm going back tomorrow for a full day, so hopefully I'll get plenty more rides in before heading home. BTW, the ride ran the whole time I was there, most of the time with both trains.
  9. I've seen it wrapped around just like Boldikus described above. Fright Fest pulls no punches. Side note: On my way out the door to go vote, then I'm driving up to the park. Message me if you're there and want to meet up!!
  10. Bill, I'm a diehard Phillies fan, and I've had "Go Cubs Go" stuck in my head ever since they clinched the other night. Catchy as all hell.
  11. Finally, a religious tradition I can get behind!!
  12. I'd go Sunday, too, but I have a stupid wedding to go to in Atlantic City. *pout* Gonna have to deal with just going on Tuesday.
  13. The hate is mostly from butthurt fanboys who want the park to add record-breaking RMC T-Rex Aquatrax coasters every year to the park. Joker is a lot of fun and fits perfectly into the park's lineup.
  14. ^ Didn't mean it as a knock on you, your situation makes total sense, too. The only kid in my extended family at this point is my 9-year-old cousin, and she lives too far away from me for me to consider taking her to the park. It's just not really on my radar at this point.
  15. Looks like a great addition, but there's still no way I'm visiting this park until I have a kid of my own.
  16. Love the paint job on it! Hopefully it translates well to the real thing.
  17. Yea, I agree with your final sentiments about the park. My first visit was way back in 2001, and then in 2013 I hit up the park real quick for about two hours after visiting my ex at U of M. I had a decent time because there were no crowds. Employees weren't incompetent but certainly were by and large indifferent. Unfortunately, due to rain, Superman wasn't running while I was there, so I spent most of my time heading back and forth between Jokers Jinx (back row, of course) and Wild One. Nice photos!
  18. *waves wand* Silencio! Self-admitted Potter nerdom aside, it'd be a bit of a bummer to see this coaster leave, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it, especially since it hasn't dueled in forever.
  19. I didn't realize the picture was sideways at first. Initially, I was thinking "oh, look at all the glow-in-the-dark electrical outlets".
  20. They're going to be open on the 8th?!?! That's awesome! I have off all that week, so I'll definitely be there that day (after I vote, of course)!
  21. Matches my sentiments 100%. I don't rank coasters, but since Skyrush is the only coaster that created the feeling you described, it separates itself from the rest of the pack IMO. Glad you guys had fun!
  22. Didn't happen to me when I visited earlier this year, but I know someone who had the speed reduced on the flyers and was glared at by the ride op.
