^ I'm glad they changed it to that name, a nice throwback to its origin as Yum Yum Palace. -

I don't understand how this is such a difficult concept to grasp. When I visited Great Adventure this weekend, I purposefully ate dinner around 4:30 in order to avoid the crowds. Doing so enabled me to visit one of the normally busy restaurants and wait only five minutes for food when the wait is normally a half hour. I used my snack on the dining plan later on in the evening when I got hungry again before I left for the day.

^ Tempting, but not worth it without any discounts on tickets. TBH, I haven't been all that compelled lately to make the trip back up to Dorney. I have fun whenever I go, but I generally have other things I'd prefer spending my money on. I probably won't be back until I decide to buy Platinum passes for a multi-park Cedar Fair trip.

The two times I've been to Cleveland I've made sure to swing by Melt. Soooooo good. -
I didn't realize that Fitzgerald was so instrumental in converting the Safari into what it is today. Harry seemed to indicate there was a good chance of the park losing the Safari if it didn't go through that transformation. News came out that a new park president was announced for SFFT, so the current rumor is Neal Thurman (SFFT's former president) will be coming to New Jersey. I wouldn't mind that, SFFT has received great praise over the last couple of years.

In all honesty, if you want good BBQ, most can do better than Famous Dave's, not just Texans. -
I misinterpreted some of the initial clues. When I saw photos from those heights, combined with questions about how fast does it take to get from point A to point B (I don't remember the actual rides they used), my mind went to transport ride. You see, THIS is exactly why I don't participate in speculation! People see just how much of an idiot I actually am!

Kings Dominion (KD) Discussion Thread

Pretty much all of my visits to Kings Dominion have been on their 7PM-12AM Friday nights in October for Haunt for the reasons Chuck laid out. Nary a line in the place! -
According to news reports, she had a tooth knocked out and a couple others damaged and will need oral surgery to fix it. No one, even her, seems to know what hit her, and I doubt they'll find out. Odds are it was just another guest's loose object, most likely a phone. I'd be very surprised to hear any more about the issue.

My only visit to SFStL occurred in 2013 and I had a great time. This is coming from someone who in the same year would be at SFGAdv twice a week. You'd think multiple rides on El Toro every week would've spoiled me too much to remotely enjoy myself at SFStL the way people are talking here. Local fanboys, IMO, always tend to be more critical of their home park than everyone else. I think every right-minded individual would choose SFGAdv over SFStL any day, and yet I see plenty of people rip into SFGAdv on fansites and Facebook groups for the most asinine of reasons, some of whom outright protest visiting the park anymore because now it just "sucks" according to them. Your park may be not be Disney, Universal, or even at the level of a few of the other Six Flags or Cedar Fair parks, but it does not "suck".

^ I DEFINITELY need to take up this habit as well! -
^ Yea, I've noticed that recently. We left after 9PM the last time I was there and none of the lights in Plaza del Carnival were on. Big Wheel was completely dark, too. Bums me out a bit, considering how much I like vibrant light packages and how well I always thought the park operated them in the past. In other news, someone apparently got bitch slapped by a loose article on El Toro:
