  1. La Revolución (Knott's), SkyHawk (CP), MaXair/Delirium (CP/KI) and even the standard swinging ship are all fantastic! I can't wait to ride a Zamperla Giant Discovery one day, because those things look HUGE!
  2. Great pictures! I'm going this week...I can't wait to try all of these foods!
  3. Ooo! Great color scheme! Love the proposed layout!
  4. Silver Bullet a Knott's has this, and since it's an inverted coaster you can see a lot of the track elements. I looked very closely one time and saw that it is these little "notches" that, when lined up with the ones on the track, allow the restraints to unlock. When the train is entering/exiting the station, these chain-dog-like things slide over the ones on the track and make the click noise. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is it. It is not a chain dog device. The chain dog is just that, a chain dog. These are for locking and unlocking restraints on newer B&M's. They also indicate open and closed restraints on all coasters that they have been installed on. Kumba and Montu have received these within the last year or so. Your saying that Silver Bullet has them. Are they to the side of the track like this? If so, I think it is great that B&M is adding these to the older coasters. One more safety system in place before that train leaves the station. The way these work is if a restraint is not locked properly, the train WILL NOT dispatch. Um... that's what I said they were. It seems like you were correcting me. But yes, Silver Bullet's are on the sides just like that. I'm pretty sure all newer B&Ms have it, because I heard it on Banshee and GateKeeper. I'm sure Fury 325 will have it too.

  6. I'm a little behind on this project, so let me get this straight. This ride is still unofficially announce, it is a clone of Superman at SFDK, it has 3 cars per train, and it has over the shoulder vests? Is that right?
  7. We got two "s"s in a row but I guess it's not then end of the world. Timberline Twister @ Knott's Berry Farm
  8. Aren't they literally the exact same ride? I'll just say Firehawk because I've ridden it. Computer mouse or track pad?
  9. Wow! This looks fantastic! Is there any close-up of the trains anywhere? I'm curious to see what the lap bars/seats look like.
  10. This looks great! I'd love to see more of these mini B&M Dive Coasters at some smaller parks in the US. They seem to be quite popular in Europe.
  11. Twisted Colossus = RMC. RMC = insane. Therefore, Twisted Colossus = insane. It's the Transitive Property of Equality.
  12. Both have been voted best amusement park by Amusement Today. California's Great America and Six Flags Over Georgia
  13. Holy crap, this is much bigger than I was anticipating! It looks great! It's nice to see a transfer. The S&S version looks so much better than the Intamin version in so many ways.
  14. It's a really great park. It's the "hidden gem" of theme parks. I haven't been there since 2007 (Wicked was open but I was too short, and this was before Bombora and obviously Cannibal). I only remember good things. However, there is a very good chance I'll be able to make it back there when we drop my brother off at college!
  15. Looks like they had some leftover paint from Piraten. Regardless, the new area looks great!
  16. A bad Vekoma remake of CBC! What's worse than RMC coasters getting OTSRs?
  17. Adventure Express @ Kings Island
  18. While I know that the Windseekers are totally safe, they always terrify me a little bit. I'm normally okay with heights (I have no issues with TTD, Millennium Force, Lex Luthor, Superman, etc.), but spinning around 300 feet in the air with pretty much nothing around you is slightly uncomfortable. And on a much smaller scale, any Wave Swinger/chair swing ride. It's not very high off the ground, but come on, my body is being supported by playground chains! I don't know how I'd survive on a tradition Six Flags-esque star flyer!
  19. Great photos! Thanks for sharing! What was the deal with the 5 car train for NTAG? When did it start/end and how long did it last?
  20. Man, both this and Fury 325 are going MUCH faster than expected and they are STILL TESTING! I can't wait to see them fly through their courses this summer once all warmed up. Can't wait for the full POV of Thunderbird!
  21. Never. When was the last time you ate pizza?
  22. Safari. I'll admit that I'm an Apple fanboy. Safari works great for me. It's fast, simple, and does everything I need it to do. I have no need to download any other browser.
  23. Great report! I recently watched some Medusa POVs and Offride videos on Youtube, and man, it looks like the best RMC yet. It hauls a$$!!! I'm surprised people aren't talking about it as much as they are Goliath, Outlaw Run, etc.
  24. I believe it all depends on the ride. Take a ride like Mummy at Universal(s) for example. If they were regular, outdoor coasters, they would be quite boring and uninteresting (this applies to most dark rides as well). The theming makes the majority of the ride. On the other hand, take a ride like Millennium Force. There is zero theming, but it's a great ride, so it doesn't need theming! So basically, if it's there...great! Bonus! But I can still greatly enjoy a ride even if it has no theming.
