  1. ^^ That's an interesting article. You don't see such in depth stories very often any more.
  2. Yeah, my home park regularly opens at 8:30, and even I'm shuddering at the idea of trying to get everybody up and out the door that early.
  3. https://www.wesh.com/article/super-nintendo-world-will-be-at-new-universal-park-epic-universe/30642731
  4. Great report! Those hard hat tours are fun. Pantheon looks ridiculous in the best possible way.
  5. ^ Agreed. Some people just love to complain.
  6. I love everything about this. Pride, good eats, cool architecture--what's not to love?
  7. This post was everything I ever dreamed it would be.
  8. Could be worse, guys. Zero is a Hershey product.
  9. Obviously we all agree Reesesmonium or GTFO.
  10. Awesome! We're definitely going to hit this up when we get to NYC (whenever that is).
  11. Let's put it this way. Say you bought a car, let's say it's an Oldsmobile, and it was a giant pile of crap, an enormous lemon, and you had to practically rebuild the entire car just to get it to run right. Would you head right back to the Oldsmobile dealership for your next car?
  12. Sorry, man, I'm having a lot of trouble following you without any punctuation.
  13. Ok, Crazy. Two words: Lightning Rod.
  14. Rise of the Resistance is exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the detailed walkthrough!
  15. June is best for crowds. They do have the TimeSaver Pass, which gives a limited number of skips per pass (10, iirc), and an unlimited version too.
  16. Awesome! These are fun. 1. 8: Morgan's Wonderland Sea World San Antonio Silver Dollar City Six Flags Fiesta Texas Six Flags over Texas Six Flags St. Louis Worlds of Fun ZDT's 2. Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster (of the new-to-me variety) 3. Outlaw Run, Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster, Jersey Devil 4. Giant Barn Swing at SDC. Still hard to beat. 5. Outlaw Run if we're counting ride height and not drop height, otherwise Wonder Woman. 6. Mr. Freeze 7. Dollywood 8. Silver Dollar City, probably around 20. 9. That's a hard one, since things are kinda iffy right now, but if everything works out how I'd like, then Busch Gardens Tampa. 10. Dollywood 11. La Vibora at Six Flags over Texas. The only other bobsled coaster I've ever been on is Flying Turns at Knoebels...so...yeah, bit of a step down. 12. You're evil. Probably Bizarro, that one's pretty good. 13. Wonder Woman 14. Skillet and wassail at SDC during Christmas. 15. I don't know, I have a pretty good one. Dollywood, Knoebels, or Hershey maybe. Basically anything else would be a step down in quality or a big step up in price. 16. Iron Gwazi 17. SDC 18. SDC's Mill Restaurant 19. Worlds of Fun 20. No 21. Skyrush 22. Phantasialand and Tokyo Disney 23. Superman Krypton Coaster 24. Hmm, I don't know, I usually skip the terrible ones. I guess it would be the couple of times I rode a Miner Mike's with my kids when they were like 3. Not really a credit whore thing though in those circumstances. 25. Cedar Point in 2018 26. 45 minutes for NTaG 27. Silver Dollar City and Six Flags 28. I keep telling you to come down to SDC... 29. Iron Gwazi 30. No idea how many times, but it's definitely Thunderation. 27 years of riding that at least once each visit, and back when it was the only big coaster, it was a lot more than once. 31. Valleyfair. Minnesota has a lot more to do in that area. 32. SDC's cashew chicken waffle cone. Highlight of Festival of Wonder, so glad they brought it back for Christmas. 33. Haven't been on either, so maybe Kumba? Otherwise it's definitely Montu. 34. Hmm, hard. I like most wooden coasters. I guess Thunderhawk at Dorney, Timber Wolf at WoF, Boss at SFStL. 35. SDC's cinnamon bread. 36. Skyrush clone. 37. Tron Coaster at WDW 38. Busch Gardens Tampa, Universal Studios Florida, Walt Disney World 39. Coasterbill, Philrad71, Nrthwnd 40. I'm usually the one with the camera, so I don't think I have any. Definitely don't have any posing with a sign.
  17. I love this idea of differentiating states I've been to once a year all my life (AR, IL) versus ones I've been to for a few minutes once (DE, MD, WV).
  18. That looks fantastic. My kids will love it. Please build this!
  19. Wow. That is all so beautiful. Thanks for taking and sharing such great photos.
  20. Hmm. Odd. It totally looks white and gold to me, but my wife says it's black and blue....
  21. ^ RIP. Greatest drummer ever. New ToD album today! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And yes, kids, that is EXACTLY what we thought 2020 music videos would look like in 1994.
  22. I don't know, if I were at Valleyfair I'd hate to walk all the way to Pipe Scream. Bit far for me.
