9/10 It's an adrenaline rush and a connection with nature at the same time. The least you could do to fill this glaring hole in your education. Fyodor Dostoevsky -

Wait, there's a company called Bat-Tech that makes amusement rides, and it's not called the Bat-Rotor? -
Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
ytterbiumanalyst replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Agreed. Ninja was fantastic, but that long, slow lift felt more like a chore. If you need a lift hill at the end, look at Thunderation or Powder Keg for how to do it right. -

Top / Best Amusement Park (s)
ytterbiumanalyst replied to bodombeast's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Currently these are my top 5: 1. Disneyland 2. Silver Dollar City 3. Holiday World 4. Knott's Berry Farm 5. Cedar Point I believe this list will see some disruption this year--I'm going to Dollywood and Knoebels! -
What is the best floorless?
ytterbiumanalyst replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
After reading the last couple of pages, I feel compelled to vote for Wildfire for best floorless coaster. It does have 100% more floors than your typical floorless coaster. I've only been on three: 1. Superman Krypton Coaster 2. Rougarou 3. Scream! -
Well, yes, we are closer to New York, but it's still over 1,000 miles. A lot of the problem is that even the big cities in the Midwest aren't that big. If you want theatre, you have to go to Chicago. Hamilton's already playing there. Outside of Chicago, as Paul Simon put it, "a man ain't got no culture."

10/10 I've been very pleased with my experience being a vertebrate. Would recommend. James Joyce -
Could be worse. We get shows about 5 years after their release. Still waiting for the Book of Mormon.

If it's like Cobras Curse then I don't mind. But if it's nothing but vomit inducing spinning, then please god, no!! I can't see it being allowed to spin on the launch. We get it. You think you know something the rest of us don't, and you think this will help your chances of getting laid. This adds nothing to the conversation. If it's like Cobras Curse then I don't mind. But if it's nothing but vomit inducing spinning, then please god, no!! Crazy fast spinning is awesome. It just needs to be comfortable i.e. restraints. I've yet to go on a spinning coaster other than the typical Maurer clones, but flat rides that spin like crazy are awesome. Teacup spinning is great because I can control it and spin the freaking things around a bazillion times and make my nieces and nephews vomit everywhere! Now this is an interesting idea. If there were a way to make a coaster spin, rather than relying on gravity and weight distribution, that would definitely be more family friendly. No idea if the new project has anything like that, but it's certainly fun to think about.

The "Say Something Random" Thread
ytterbiumanalyst replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an L on he forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running So much to do, so much to see, so what's wrong with taking the back streets? -
Doubtful. These 360 loop coasters are some of the smoothest coasters I've ever ridden. It's great to see Larson breaking in to the coaster market. If these innovative rides are any indication of what they can do then I fully expect them to become a household name in the coaster market, right up there with Intamin, B&M and RMC. This is golden! Please make this your replacement for razzing people about Mean Streak!

I highlighted your text so you too can read. I think ytterbiumanalyst is referring to the fact that the park has not made any official announcements, therefore we basically know nothing about the project, because at this point anything involving this project is basically just rumors. Obviously aside from the fact there are footers and ground work being done. We also do not know for sure that it is a Mack Spinner. Again, that's just rumor and speculation. Pretty much. I said there is "next to no information," which is not the same thing as "no information." It concerns me that I actually have to point this out.... Anyway, yes, the actual information is the footers, construction vehicles, the record of HFE brass visiting Europa-park recently, etc. There are bits of information, some of which may prove irrelevant. Some not. Rumours are built out of this information, but the rumours themselves are not information. Opinions, facts, and theories are three different things. Sigh.

Robb & Elissa in Asia - 2016!

Awesome! KidZania looks like just the coolest place ever. Each time after you post a report I go look up the nearest location, and each time I'm disappointed it's not in the U.S. Overseas trips just aren't feasible for us right now, but this is totally the sort of place I would plan a trip around. Will do just that when they eventually build one in the U.S.
