Millennium Force and SteVen are both looking great! Can't wait to ride both this summer. -
Gay Dolphin Park, definitely. They have a Gay Dolphin Gift Cove. I would totally buy a gift from a gay dolphin at this cove. Possum or opossum?

Yes! So much yes! Did everyone else get the mailer too? With Darien adding an extra 2° to the Iron Shark/Euro 380 design, Tantrum will be the 9th steepest coaster.(Along with Fahrenheit, Vild-Svinet, and about six others I belive.) Hold up, wait a minute. Darien Lake is calling their new coaster Tantrum? That is superstar level trolling.

Will you have to sign a waiver? Will there be counselors at the exit? -
Considering that there's a drop immediately after the helix that brings it back down to the same level it entered the helix, taking it out would have minimal effect on the speed of the ride. It would speed it up slightly, due to the track being a bit shorter amd therefore less speed would be lost due to friction, but we're talking very, very little here. TL;DR version: They can take out the helix if they want, and the ride would be fine.

I felt that having fewer things to do made the day far more relaxing. We live about 3 hours from Six Flags, so even though we have a membership, we still only get up there a few times a year. Each time we go, then, we try to get on all our favourite rides. Having about half of them closed meant that we just kind of wandered the park and still got on everything we wanted. It was a much more relaxing pace and made for a really fun time.

Holy crap. I can't remember the last time I saw that. Probably the best indicator of the crowd levels, IMO. Glad to see this event be so successful for them. They seem to be making a fair amount of money on it, judging by the people we saw buying things in shops and spending actual money on food, not just dining pass.

Best Drops....
ytterbiumanalyst replied to BiCoastal Kid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some of the most memorable ones for me: - The last four drops on Phoenix. Holy crap. - The drop out of the station on Mystery Mine - El Toro's first drop and Skull Mountain's airtime drop in the back seat - Skyrush's first drop - The twist into the first drop on X-Flight and Gatekeeper - Maverick's first drop, but also all beyond vertical drops - Pretty much every first drop on every RMC, but especially Outlaw Run's. - X2's headfirst first drop. -

What song are you listening to?
ytterbiumanalyst replied to Mr.Six's topic in Random, Random, Random
I was a fan of them and of Coldplay in the early 2000s (the two bands have a bit of shared history). That's the only song of theirs I still listen to now. So good, especially when feeling wistful. Rediscovered this song today. I used to blast this thing when going to a shit tech support job about a decade ago. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] -
Have you seen the new Star Trek?
