Stinger being removed is great news. That was probably the worst coaster there. Glad they're not getting rid of Possessed. I loved that one, and generally all of that type.

I really would just rent a car. At the airport and not in a sketchy area of the city.

Good to know, thanks! I'm sure they can find good bands in their price range. A lot of the classic rock bands are dying off anyway. If they can get bands that come to the Pageant, that'd be good. They don't need the tier of band that plays Scottrade.

Do they own it though? They didn't buy all of Fox, just the movie studios. Everything else is still owned by Newscorp.

I'm hoping this means a return to legit bands in lieu of the religious knockoffs they've had for years. It's been a while, but the park used to have good concerts.

^ I agree with this. Millennium Force is awesome, maybe the best coaster I've ever been on, but Gatekeeper sells a lot of tickets too. It's super popular, and for good reason. It's a really great and really accessible coaster.

I've been to DC twice, once for a week and a second time for two weeks. During that time, I never went to any of their theme parks. Just too much other stuff to do, with the Smithsonian and monuments and all. So that should give you a good idea of how much the average DC visitor cares about theme parks.

If you liked Blazing Fury, you have to ride Black Diamond at Knoebels. And really, ride Haunted Mansion, it's awesome. Probably won't upset your stomach. I have similar issues, but no problem with Haunted Mansion at all. It's a $2 upcharge, totally worth it. Lines at Knoebels go super fast, so don't worry about it taking up coaster time. You'll get right on.

Much better to start small and make sure they do it right than to try for too much and not be able to do it well. I've enjoyed the event this year, and I'd be happy if they just keep it up like it is.

They put harder wheels on Batman in the winter so it doesn't valley. It flies through the course like it's the peak of summer. Just go. You'll understand.

Yes. As long ad the coaster can actually make it around the circuit, they'll run it. Last time I was there American Thunder barely had enough to male it to the brakes, but it did make it, so they loaded it up and sent it again! Expect everything scheduled to be open to run.
