Early entry at Dorney...that's hilarious. Gotta have those lines 5 people long instead of 10. -
Game: When was the last time you...

I've owned an apple corer/slicer for about a decade now. That's the only apple product I've ever owned. When was the last time you had a snow day? -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

The only RMC I have a lot of experience with is Outlaw Run. It did have a lot of downtime its first year, but since then has become very reliable. I've seen times when it and Thunderation (SDC's Arrow mine train) are the only coasters running. Other than Lightning Rod, I haven't heard of significant downtime on any other RMCs. Hopefully that will hold true for SteVen too. As for Gatekeeper, it's a fantastic way to start a day at Cedar Point. It was the first coaster I ran to at rope drop, and I still think it's the best coaster there that doesn't start with M. I keep a list of coasters I've ridden, but I don't rank beyond the top 5. However, since we've got the coaster ranking poll open right now, I actually gave it some thought, and I put Gatekeeper at #12. That's above Raptor and Dragster. It's one I'm really looking forward to riding again this June. -
How exactly would combining into one park be any better than Park Hopper? They already have a combined security area. With Park Hopper, you walk out one gate and right into the other. No effort. There are only two things I could see being different if it were one park: all guests would be forced to pay the Park Hopper price, even if they wanted to spend all day in one park, and...I guess, not having to show your ticket to go to the other park? This is a supremely stupid idea.

All right, back to A and a roller coaster from my past. It's the best named children's coaster ever: ACME Gravity Powered Roller Ride!

^ Honestly, my first thought when I saw there would be paid Fastpasses is "how can i get these, and how much?" I don't think we'll be doing the luxury hotels they're rolling these out to, as they're out of our price range even with IATA discounts, but if they would allow all resort guests to buy these, I would totally do it. I'm in the preliminary stages of planning a 2020 trip to WDW, and between 7-day park tickets, campground reservations, and dining plan, we're already looking at around $5K. I would totally drop another couple hundred to ensure we get to ride everything we want. It's kind of like an insurance policy on the trip.

No idea; like I say, it's been over 20 years since I darkened their door. I am very familiar with redneck attitude, living in the Ozarks, so my guess is that it comes with a side of racism.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend Fuddrucker's, ever. I'm pretty sure the last time I went there was on a 5th grade field trip. Yet again, Idiocracy had it right:

What Was the Last Beer You Drank?

Sierra Nevada's pretty good. I've bought that one before and was pleased. Tonight we're snowed in, no school or work tomorrow, so it's time for the Elusive IPA by Missouri's own Public House Brewing Co. -

Oh cool! It'll be up by Thursday then. -
I like the poll. You've definitely worked hard on it and it's a good start. I like that not all the coasters are listed, just the ones that have the potential to be well liked by a lot of people. I like that some family coasters like Little Dipper at Six Flags Great America and Powder Keg at Silver Dollar City are listed, since those are good coasters. Probably not anyone's #1, but certainly appreciated by a number of people. Selecting coasters I've ridden is easy, but ranking takes a lot of time, since I have to drag to the top of the screen, then scroll up, then drag from the bottom to the top again, etc. I've been doing this with Chrome on Android. Oh and minor spelling correction. Six Flags Great Adventure's Dark Knight is spelled Dark Night in the poll.

Game: When was the last time you...

Today, just like every day. Much as I try not to be an adult as much as possible, stupid responsibilities keep getting me. When was the last time you made homemade chili? -
That's some great writing. You had me hooked on your Chaos story; very well done. That said, F*ck Chaos. I've never been on one, and I'm never going on one. Just, absolutely, no. Really glad you enjoyed El Loco, though. I rode the hell out of Steel Hawg at Indiana Beach a couple of years ago. That ride is so good. Not surprised with how much you love Mystery Mine, as the El Locos (Los Locos?) do the same sort of bank right but turn left stuff. I think if I ever go to Vegas, Circus Circus would be a must visit. Seems like my sort of place. I love places that exist in the grey area between sh*tty and awesome.

ytterbiumanalyst replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I rode a lot of great coasters last year, but my dark ride list wasn't shaken up much. Disney (Disneyland Anaheim unless otherwise noted): 1. Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Haunted Mansion 3. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride 4. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage 5. Toy Story Midway Mania (DCA) Non-Disney: 1. Calico Mine Ride (Knott's Berry Farm) 2. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (USH) 3. Justice League: Battle for Metropolis (SFStL) 4. Haunted Mansion (Knoebels) 5. Transformers (USH)
