  1. The Bent Cuban Eight on G Force at Drayton Manor has to be one of the oddest elements out there:
  2. ^ Knoebels has alot of firewood available for cheap at the campground (they literally have a MOUNTAIN of it). Also many campgrounds frown on bringing untreated firewood because pests like the Emerald Ash Borer and the Asian Longhorned Beattle are spread by people transporting untreated firewood from infected places.
  3. Intamin: Le Cobra at La Ronde, that has to be the worst coaster I've ever been on. B&M: Mantis at Cedar Point, it gave me a massive head ache, if it wasn't for those trims on the first drop then it would be decent (like Green Lantern at SFGADV) GCI: Wildcat at Hershey Park, those PTC trains really tore that track up.
  4. ^ I've heard Vekoma did some work to it before they moved it to Silverwood. Nice to see more of theses being built, I rode Goliath at SFNE and really enjoyed it.
  5. There isn't much made by Japanese manufacturers that good but the Ultra Twisters were made by TOGO along with Bandit I've heard good things about.
  6. ^ Sometimes on Maverick they enforced it (nagging you in the queue to take them out) however, I didn't notice them enforcing it else where.
  7. ^^ The Great Escape is in Lake George New York right off of Interstate 87 right near the boarder of the Adirondacks. It is also my home park along with SFNE.
  8. ^ Yes, the third seat first car on Magnum is the only wheel (box) seat you should ride in, the rest are just painful.
  9. In general, I find the second to last seat on Arrow Loopers to be better than the rest (probably something to do with the nose car on the back and the wheels in front), on coaster like Magnum XL 200, as long as you avoid the box seat (third row of each car) then it's good.
  10. If you want to do Splashing Safari effectively, GET THERE RIGHT WHEN IT OPENS! Splashing Safari gets crowded very early in the day and if you want to do the slides then I would make sure you get there ASAP.
  11. And now this person will sue Six Flags because of some idiots actions.....
  12. Just went to The Great Escape today and had a great time. A couple things changed since the last time I was here such as: 1. Screaming Eagles (very nice ride and definitely a great improvement over the Arcade Dome that was there before, sadly you cant snap the cables ) 2. The Scrambler is inside the Dome now and it is repainted to look like a igloo 3. The bumper cars have moved up into the Ghost Town section of the park into a area where arcade games used to be (theses where all mentioned back in previous pages) Also The Comet is down right now and it looks like they are doing something with the track by the on ride photo camera (there is a blue trap above it to protect from the weather). Anyways, here are some pictures of the bumper cars in their new location:
  13. ^ This is the new America, just because it offends ONE person, it MUST go away. (hate to think what this guy would think about the Tripsdrill Bathtub log flume)
  14. Beautiful trains, very happy to see lapbars.
  15. It is actually on a island that has a park and a biosphere as well so yes there is parking. However, if you want to save a few bucks on parking then I recommend parking at the biosphere and walking down to the park as it isn't too far.
  16. I had a idea about a Drop Tower tilting 90 degrees before dropping, glad to see it has become a reality. This looks like this could become one of the best Drop Towers in the world.
  17. If the track is being made this early in the year then my guess is that's it is going over seas (probably China or some other Asian country).
  18. That looks SO much better than that crappy arcade dome! Great job SF, this ride should be fun for all family members.
  19. The best way to get to the beech is to go in the Main Enterence and then go out the Wicked Twister/WindSeeker Enterance, you will basically be right there. I don't know about the chair or umberella rentals.
  20. Boot Camp or Wine (if you want to dual boot Mac OS X and Linux) is your answer until a Mac version comes out.
  21. I'm very glad to see a RCT3 like building strategy without the grid, even though it is a bit old, it gets the job done in a great way. Cant wait to get this game!
  22. My best riding a coaster in the rain moment would be on Millennium Force at CP back in 2007 when we were the last train out before they closed the ride due to a thunder storm, I will say it was very painful and scary.
  23. ^^ Considering this in a desert environment, I don't think the track has to many issues due to the fact that there is very little water around to rust the track.
