  1. ^ Frontier City feels like a Six Flags park because it was one at one point (it was the first park Premier Parks owned), they sold it in the 2005-2006 sale in order to lighten the debt they had. Also Silver Bullet is a Schwarzkopf. Link: http://rcdb.com/153.htm
  2. Thunder Dolphin at Tokyo Dome City has a odd layout. It goes on top of a mall Through a Ferris Wheel: And has the oddest section of track out of all the Intamin Mega Coasters:
  3. ^ A Giga isn't possible due to the height restriction in the area. Also a Giga wouldn't fit in with the crowd who visits the park (families and tourists).
  4. I really hope we get a new coaster, Canyon Blaster was such a lame addition and that was ten years ago! If they scrap Steamon Deamon, I think a nice Eurofighter like Iron Shark could fit there.
  5. The ride is only 8 years old, I doubt structural fatigue cracks could happen in that amount of time even with the force Kingda Ka puts on the tower. (Look at TTD at Cedar Point, have we seen any new tower supports come yet? I think we would be able to tell because the new supports would be darker than the rest of the tower)
  6. Went to Knoebels last week and was lucky to see Flying Turns test (people part of the testing crew where riding it as well) and I have to say that this thing looks like a pretty crazy bobsled, hopefully it finally opens next year.
  7. I hate Mantis, its rough, bangs your head, and crunches your nuts. I personally would be happy if they took that POS OUT and put a modern wooden coaster there (wether GCI, RMC, or TGG)
  8. Where are the ARM towers in all of this? The sudden drop at the top of those towers always scares the crap out of me!
  9. If that is true and it has a drop steeper than El Toros (76 degrees) it will definetly break the speed record.
  10. ^ He would have been right if he mentioned one of theses! Suspended Looping Coaster, Victory Kingdom
  11. ^ Nemisis Inferno at Thrope Park doesn't have them (I know because we were drenched with water coming out the cap on the lift hill).
  12. I think Shockwave is a great ride, but I wonder how much longer the ride will be able to last if parts have to be special made...can't imagine Six Flags wanting that expense forever. I wonder who makes the spare parts for The Whizzer at SFGA?? Maurer Sohne, Gerstlauer, and Premier Rides?
  13. Was in the UK in 2007 and went to Alton Towers, sadly we didn't do Air due to its long line and missed Nemisis because it was broken when we went to ride it.
  14. The video looks like it was created in a program with worse graphics than RCT3....

  16. Yup, the only ride allowed to be built after are Japanese Jet coasters with catwalks all over the layout.
  17. Glad to see you enjoyed my home park, I agree that the Comet is the main reason for going to the park.
  18. People have stopped giving a damn about Mind Eraser; seriously, I haven't seen it with anything more than a ten-minute wait in years, and that includes times when the park was getting slammed beyond belief. It's not like the park has an active incentive to spruce it up. Hell, it probably won't even be there in five years at this rate. Really because every time we go the queue house is completely filled.
  19. I think that was a mutant seagull! I seriously have never seen one that big before! This is what happens when the animals have a GREAT food source for half the year (park fast food).
  20. Yup my mother was struck by a goose coming down the Top Thrill Dragster tower a couple years ago, luckily she had her arms up and was able to block the wing from hitting her face (she had a big bruise on her arm for awhile).
  21. Not another problem with this ride hasnt it already had too many (looks like we are see the Chiller of CP)... At least this didnt kill people unlike the NTAG accident.
  22. Very sad event, this is reminding me about the Ride of Steel insidents that happened in my home state. Hopefully it wasnt the design of the ride that caused this and that it was the design of the trains, operator error, or stupidity.
  23. I agree about the Parachutes, me and my mom try to ride them every time we visit SFGADV and would be sad to see them go. Also, can't they just put the drop tower in the middle of the tower and keep the parachutes (like the Knott's observation tower)?
  24. I think this is still the track for Heide Parks new Wing Rider (whats the job number on that?).
  25. The only ride I have every gotten lightheaded on was the Howler at Hersheypark but that was only because my sister spun the thing like crazy.
