Horrible Park Operations
3Mutts replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The worst I've seen is La Rondes, we waited for hours just to ride that piece of crap called La Cobra due to theses terrible operations. Mount Olympus is another one up there. -

That plaza is pretty much what I expected in the begining (The Leviathan like sign in a circular plaza). Cedar Fair really is begining to put more effort into thier entrances to rides. -
I have a change in my browsers, for video viewing and things that Chrome doesn't like I use Firefox. On my IPad I use a browser called Mercury (I don't like the fact the new Safari doesn't allow fo full screen video viewing [the task bar at the top doesn't go away]).

New B&M trains on Steel Dragon
3Mutts replied to Trevor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is interesting, I would have never thought that B&M would be the ones to replace the trains. Lets hope the ride is more thrilling now than it was before. Also the man who siad Steel Dragon put Morgan out of bussiness it didnt, they built Superman el Ăšltimo Escape at SFM in 2002 (opened in 2004 due to government red tape) and bought Chance Rides out shortly after to become Chance Morgan. -

Looks like a killer ride, I love the look of the trains, they look old timey and alot like Playlands Coaster trains. -

The newer IEs are not as bad as 6-8, however it still doesn't have the customization or speed that Chrome, Firefox, and Opera have.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

^ Even for SFMM (which markets to the "YOLO" crowd) that is bad, some people today are just complete jerks. -

^ I think the reason they are using the old Arrow trains is because Ninja probably on its way out soon, so they will have plenty of parts for Boomerang, they also have another train from SFOT which came from Flashback at SFNE before it moved (this is the train they will probably use). I think that the location for this Boomerang is really good with the clift and the path going under the Cobra Roll. Hopefully this will have good landscaping lik Goliath at SFNE. -
Fuji Q Highland or Tobu Zoo Park
3Mutts replied to urkobilbo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you have already ridden a 4D Coaster and don't want to see Mount Fuji, I wouldn't bother going to Fuji Q as it is a little out of the way from Tokyo (1-2 hour train ride). I would also make sure to do Tokyo Disney while your in Tokyo as it is a really nicely themed park (the only problem with it is that it gets crowded REALLY fast). Tobu Zoo is pretty nice and has a Megalite and a decent wood coaster, if you never been on a Megalite I suggest going as Megalites are really good rides. -

If Cedar Point demos Corkscrew in the near future (seems likely due to rumors of Anaconda and Vortex leaving next year) I would like to see them keep the Corkscrews over the midway if they put a flat ride or smaller coaster in the spot or if they decide to put a large coaster in they should mimic the old corkscrews as the midway would look very odd without them. I would say Iron Dragon won't be leaving quite yet due to it being the only major coaster (Woodstock Express isnt a major coaster) that kids under 48" can ride right now. -

Yay Gatekeepers track is finished! Ironic how Gatekeeper was finished today and Full Throttle just started.... -
Cedar Point, nothing beats the skyline when you drive up that Causeway and see Millennium force, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum, Raptor, Wicked Twister, and Mean Streak over shadowing the lake. Kings Island also has a very nice skyline.
