  1. Nice video, I'm glad to see how well in keeps its pacing up compared to most other modern B&Ms, the entrance also looks as good as I expected it to look, too bad I won't be walking through it (we stay at Camper Village when we visit)
  2. OMG it's true! This B&M has NO TRIMS! Looks pretty good, looks like it will have just enough force to be fun but not too much the scare the GP away.
  3. Cedar Point is definetly done with Intamin after that disaster of a water ride however I'm not too sure about the rest of the parks.
  4. Quite surprised how fast its running, knowing B&M, I would have thought they would have placed a trim somewhere along the coarse. This looks more like theirs Chinese creations and will hopefully ride like them.
  5. ^ Same thing happened to us but we just let people go in front of us so we would get the comb tower.
  6. It isn't, its stamped concrete, it just looks like that because its covered in sand and its wet. The area in the upper left by the support? That's probably wet sand mixed with mud or an old maintenance road for Disaster Transport.
  7. It isn't, its stamped concrete, it just looks like that because its covered in sand and its wet.
  8. ^ Really glad they went with a Leviathan like sign, looks like that's going to be the theme for all the other major installations.
  9. Went to SFNE today, it was cheerleader day but the park was probably as crowded as a average summer day. Any ways, we rode: Bizarro: Very good ride, the ride is way better in the front. The yellow train rattles more than the blue one, also the ride had alot of trouble with the lift hill (getting stuck in the same place every time). Batman: The Dark Knight: Good B&M but it is a B&M. Could have been more forceful but it was ok. Scream (Tower B): Very interesting, never ridden a Combo Drop and I think its the best program for a S&S Drop Tower. Really good tower. Anyways, I have some pictures of Goliaths new trains on the track. Front Back Front Side Back Side
  10. Even though it is slowed down it still looks like it has a similar amount of force as last year, the only part that looks like it was changed was the first drop.
  11. Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion has a long queue and exit, it felt like walking a mile to get on and off that ride.
  12. One thing I need to say is that Dragon is a real Arrow, not a knockoff. Link: http://rcdb.com/1234.htm
  13. I'm happy to hear the park is improving, it was pretty good when we went in 2011 (caught it on a good day maybe). I hope things continue to improve so the park can be its old self again.
  14. ^ If you want to blame anyone don't blame Cedar Point, blame Intamin. They made the Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster restraints before I305s (pretty sure you knew that though ) and used the T-Bar restraint instead of the OTSR (that design didn't come till Storm Runner in 2004). This T-Bar design is more restrictive to larger guests than the OTSR due to it resting on the riders thighs more than the OTSR.
  15. No inversions on The Voyage please, it sort of made sense on Hades 360 because it was put in a very boring part of the ride, but The Voyage is crazy beginning to end and really has no good spot to put a inversion. Now if you guys put in a new looping coaster, I'm in full support of it.
  16. ^ They are, it's due to thier train design not being the best aerodynamic design. Also, Cedar Point is running Gatekeeper with softer wheels which reduce the speed.
  17. A little upset that the Timberliners won't be on the Voyage this year, I was looking forward to trying them out, oh well, it's better to make sure they are perfect instead of slapping them on their and having tons of problems.
  18. Where it is showing red is where the wheels run on the track, nothing they can do about that since to wheels are going to peel piant off over time and besides this area the rest of the track is fine.
  19. It will be cheesey but lets hope it's not like Final Destruction 3, which gave people a bad view of the industry.
  20. Gerstluaer and Six Flags really did do a really nice job on those trains, they are right up there with the B&M Wing Rider trains as my favorite set of trains.
  21. But Disaster Transport was a Intamin!
  22. Blame the stupid American court system in which anyone can sue over the stupidest things and WIN! Honestly the park had nothing to do with this, if anything the guy should have sued the guy who threw the object.
  23. Some trains are still being rehabbed which means they are sitting in the maintenance house in pieces waiting to be put back together. Just give SFGADV time, all the trains should be together by the summer.
  24. ^ People have said they have seen it test however I'm still not sure if it is economically viable to move it or if the park is willing to sell it.
