  1. The blue paint was a test product from OPI, but it was discontinued after not selling well.
  2. I say this in a completely non confrontational way, but skeptical of what? It doesn't matter if it doesn't make your top ten, bro. It will still be fun. Shit, even Kentucky Kingdom's new roller coaster will be fun. We take no responsibility for neither the design, nor the construction of these rides. Also, Six Flags St. Louis says STFU! (joking... kinda) Thanks for the pictures, sir. Thanks for contributing so early in your TPR posts. Copperhead looks great. I'm really starting to think that Cedar Fair has a contract with Orange Paint Incorporated (OPI), but they're making it work.
  3. Sam Adams Lager. I didn't care for it. I think I'll revert back to Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat for this weekend, which is a KC beer. I'm starting to ease myself back into better quality beer. It makes me drink about 5-6 beers per week on non-light beer, since I tend to drink it slowly.
  4. https://www.thetelegraph.com/news/article/Alton-police-officers-involved-in-shoooting-two-13466227.php So they used one of their standard pictures, which was taken while investigating about our 5th shooting within 48 hours from a couple years ago... WTF. So awesome to be woken up by calls and text messages from family and friends at 9am after working midnights, even though this happened after shortly I went home. Special thanks to the paper for scaring the sh*t out of all of my family members, when they could have just used one of their shots of a patrol vehicle or badge. They need to take some more God damned police cover shots, because I always end up on the cover of the worst stories. Lawsuits, tax increases, shootings, etc. fml.
  5. Which one was your favorite and which was one the most disappointing. When I say favorite, I mean the one you would ride right now, if you had the opportunity, not some bullshit top 5.
  6. I still need to try blue ice cream. Nah, bruh. Maybe if you drink too much. The only time I ever got close to being sick was in the dark ride portion of Verbolten. But... I go pretty hard for two park scenarios: 1) Haunts 2) Every trip to BGW If I feel absolutely miserable the next day the mission is accomplished. Other than that, I'm a pretty conservative drinker in general.
  7. Unless it's the haunt and you're absolutely blasted on Yuengling.
  8. The focus of Winterfest doesn't seem to be on rides, which is contrary to Six Flags. Both park chains offer different experiences. I think if there's any chance one of their few coasters which are open might valley, it's just serves them no purpose to risk it when they clearly don't cater to thrill seekers for Winterfest. Six Flags may operate rides in colder temperatures, because it needs them to draw a crowd. As much as I enjoy HITP, I think the strategy that CF takes is smarter. Less wear and tear. Less maintenance. Less staffing. More focus on Holiday activities. If I had kids, I would be more interested in taking them to a Winterfest event vs. HITP. I personally don't think the ride operations at Cedar Fair have anything to do with laws that possibly don't exist and manufacturer's recommendations. It's also important to remember that a manufacturer's recommendations may have nothing to do with safety and more to do with the general performance of the ride.
  9. Cedar Fair seems to be choosing not to open up their rides in order to dedicate more resources to the lights and Christmas atmosphere. This appears extremely successful. There's no reason to please a few coaster enthusiasts when Cedar Fair parks are attracting families in droves. I also suspect that less visitors to Cedar Fair Winterfest events are season pass holders.
  10. The first sentence caught me off guard, but I saw the poster and I know he knows better.
  11. I really don't want him to stop making irrational posts, though. Reminds me of me, years ago. 40 trips would almost feel like going to work, even if I didn't live nearly an hour away. If I were going for the meal plan, 40 plus SF meals would give me type two diabetes and I would be worried about my future spawn looking like the people of Walmart. On the bright side, my immune system would be on point from constant exposure to restraints.
  12. Diamondback Raging Bull Every other B&M hyper. Bottom: Mamba Every other Morgan hyper.
  13. Burned out was what I was thinking. I couldn't imagine being impressed with Christmas lights after my 15th visit.
  14. Jesus Christ... That's a ton of visits. It might be time for another hobby. For as much as you've constantly bitched about the park this year I'm surprised it took you this long to say you're not going back. You'll be back. Bet.
  15. Next season we will kick it off like this last season by attending Coaster Campout at CP. My brother and sister in law want to come with us this time, which will be cool. They have never been to CP before. Over the last two years they have come to KI, SFGam, and SFSTL with us. They dig it. Right now, we're planning a summer vacation to include SFGadv and CW. This has spawned probable sight seeing in Philadelphia, New York City, Niagra Falls, and Toronto. We're also going to fly to Carowinds for a weekend trip and we'll drive north to SFGam on some Saturday. Other than that, a few beers spread over a couple nights at SFSTL will also take place.
  16. I can't believe this park has gone through such a drastic transformation since 2010. It really makes you think about how quickly CF could turn around a park like WoF if they thought that it would pay off. CF's big four parks are impressive. All four of them have solid line-ups, well rounded attractions, great atmospheres, and giga coasters. Wait... (Crosses fingers)
  17. I don't do top 10, etc lists. But, here are some of the first ten that came to mind. Screaming Eagle Beast Phoenix Lightning Run Beast Mr. Feeze Racer (KI) Powder Keg Whizzer Verbolten
  18. Are you jealous? I am. I think my new favorite is Lex Luthor's Big D.
  19. Drag Queen Race Coaster!! Now, anyone who dislikes DQRC is a bigot.
  20. Looks like a pretty nice go-kart track they're building.
  21. I like the pretzel loop and the 200 foot airtime hill.
  22. I never pay attention to all of the no-limits concept creations, but that one and the video was neat. I'd sh*t myself if something similar were to happen. So, I think I'd better buy some butt wipes, because I'm guessing it will be happening sometime within the next few years.
