  1. I was making a joke that it's not a roller coaster until they send a train... as for now, it's just a piece of metal. Edit: You know what... fffk it. Next time I won't explain and I can just let the comments from the easily offended rain.
  2. I can't understand why this looks so fun to me, but it does.
  3. How much can you do with a straight forward out and back coaster? Twisted Colossus was different, because it plays on its long layout and racing trains. You can't compare Screamin Eagle to an atrociously rough coaster like the Georgia Cyclone or Rattler. The layouts are prone to becoming rough coasters. There's also no reason to change the Screaming Eagle. It's not rough and its had a line the last few times I've been to the park. Out of about ten rides I've had within the last few years only one was kind of rough. American Thunder isn't even worth bringing up. It's incredibly smooth and isn't it friendly to younger riders? Giving it an RMC treatment would be pointless. I'm sorry, but this conversation is pretty tired. It's silly. We might as well talk about the Skyride coming back or the enclosure of the Mine Train. The idea of a new smaller scale coaster is much more realistic than the concept of contradicting what Six Flags has already made abundantly clear.
  4. If you get the hankering to walk on every ride buy FL+.
  5. Glad you made the best of the trip, but that mentality is kind of St. Louis in a nutshell... I'm not, but if you're a baseball fan you should stop by during one summer and catch a Cardinal's game. STL is a huge baseball city. (uhg...) Or, maybe just wait for about ten years when STStl gets it's first steel coaster since 1998 and come back for a visit. I haven't been to City Museum in probably over ten years, despite living 30-40 minutes away. The full bar caught my eye. It seems like they have added quite a bit. I've been to shaved duck once, and it's fantastic. We first heard of it on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives when Guy went there and ordered thick cut gourmet bacon. Roosters is also great. They have opened up a couple other restaurants in the St. Louis area. Great breakfast and stellar breakfast drinks. You may have missed out. As far as the advertisement goes, I'm not sure if you know it, but Ted Drewes is a kind of a destination custard spot in the city. Seriously, wtf?
  6. Same. I can't put my finger on theme park merchandise being adult oriented, in general.
  7. Bullshit. Yukon Striker isn't the tallest fastest anything, yet. Send a train for a lap and we'll talk...
  8. That's tired talk. If you ask me, we'd benefit greatly from both. But, I'll keep my expectations reasonable with an Endeavor and hopefully a few fixed toilets. I think as long as The Boss continues to get TLC, it will be fine. The helix was brutal and they got rid of it in favor of a turn that's still fun and it doesn't beat you up as bad. I used to be one of the people quick to point the finger at The Boss and say it's in need of RMC. But, when I compare it to Voyage or Legend, the latter of which beats the FFck out of you, it's really not all that bad. For some reason Holiday World gets a free pass on it two, if not three, kidney punchers. I think because The Boss is at SFSTL people see it in a more negative light. I guarantee if it were at a park like Holiday World or Knoebels people would somehow love it. Step up the off season track work and it will be great. As others have pointed out, The Boss is very popular and often still keeps a line despite it's high capacity. Oh, I knew. GTFO!
  9. It's a safety thing. Too many people were so concerned with being first in line for Steel Vengeance that they forgot to secure their cell phones and virginity within a I0ckR.
  10. Sounds like maybe they're trying to improve food efficiency if you can order it and pick it up later. Comes with the ability to enter a meal plan code or Credit Card number, maybe? At least it sounds like they're trying. I wonder if there will be an extra charge for ordering ahead of time and picking up later.
  11. I do want to clarify that never did I say that poor people are criminals. Never would I say that poor people are criminals. As far as your response goes, you blew everything out of proportion. I'm not willing to waste my time explaining my first hand experiences and knowledge of criminal behavior vs. what you think you know. You wouldn't want to walk a mile in my shoes. It's both frightening and depressing.
  12. Ahahaha! You beat me to it!
  13. Well, no one ever comes to St. Louis... but yea. Favazzas is great. I'm also laughing at the use of "quality" and "Golden Corral" in the same thought. Emily and I call it the hog trough.
  14. I don't discredit Thrill. He's a good source of information for Cedar Point. But, after all of this Italian food controversy, I hope we find out that the restaurant serves exclusively Chinese food... and Mexican.
  15. I don't like flyers, but now I officially hope that it is.
  16. You missed the point, which was that everyone thought the inverted model was extinct. Turns out that wasn't the case.
  17. I could definitely see SFSTL constructing one if they decide to add their first 'new' steel coaster in 20 years.
  18. I was also hoping for an outside business. The thought of an outside business moving in leads me to believe that such a business would already be advertising on social media. I think that's what Melt did. I don't think there'd be any reason to keep it a secret. Who knows.
  19. B&M hasn't moved on from any of those models. Parks have. It's a park's decision in the direction they want to go based on trends. If a park wants a B&M Invert or Flying coaster, they'll order one and B&M will produce one. KI in conjunction with CF has proved that they don't give a damn. A flyer would likely be just as popular as the addition of Banshee. As I said before, a flyer is NOT far fetched, especially for KI. I personally don't think it's as likely as other models and I wouldn't want to see that happen, but I think there's better of a chance of KI getting a flyer than anywhere else in the US. That's also considering the benefits of diversity between KI and CP with CF selling combined passes for both parks. True.
  20. As much as I really want a giga, the only thing that would please me more is a B&M junior inverted coaster where Firehawk went. This, of course, would be after tremendous social media hype. KI enthusiasts might actually get physically ill. And yes. I already know a junior suspended coaster exists, which would just add to the whole experience.
  21. ^Agreed. Both fun and family friendly. No offense, but is this day dreaming or are you guys actually working on something? What I mean is that it doesn't sound like you have much of a budget. Have you tried looking into a nice swing set? (joking kinda...)
  22. ^^One of those things that makes this interest feel juvenile. Other than that, Copperhead Strike looks great.
