People already complain about food prices and wait times. It's not practical. -
Have you ever encountered an animal on any ride?

Angry wasps on Mamba's lift hill. Sadly, that's the most thrilling part of the ride. -

^They didn't even leave a tip. I personally wish they would have only changed the light bulbs in the station and announced it, just to piss off all of the bitches and coaster enthusiast drama queens. -

I'm heading to the park tomorrow (Saturday). I hooked Emily and I up by purchasing Platinum Passes, FL+ Passes, and Fright Lane Passes. ($700 lmao oops) I couldn't mess with uploading a picture when I purchased the passes at work, so it says I have to go to the season pass processing center. Where is that? We're in no hurry to get to the park and we'll probably be there around 1. Will there be a long wait to get our passes processed? Also, I was told on the Facebook group that a funpix season pass will work at all parks, but the website doesn't specify that. Is this true? Lastly, it's supposed to be mid to low 30's late at night. Does KI shut down coasters when it gets this cold? I have not been on Diamondback, but I have been on Intimidator (CW) and Fury 325 and I felt that they were both unique from one another that Fury didn't really overshadow Intimidator. I visited Carowinds before Fury. During that visit, I bounced back and forth between Afterburn and Intimidator. After my last three visits to Carowinds with Fury, Afterburn, and Intimidator, although I enjoyed Intimidator it definitely got moved to the back burner. I did, however, find it dumb how everyone was constantly trashing Intimidator after Fury was built. -
Emily is obsessed with Game of Thrones. They have a music tour from the composer of all of the music from the show. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but she wanted to go, so I was a good sport about it and 'acted' like I wanted to do it. I actually had a great time. I'd never been to any kind of symphony and I found the music really beautiful and I paid attention to the complexities. I hit a home run with Emily, since she said she thought it was one of the best events she's ever been to. We're not big concert people.

I think this can happen with any airline. When we came home from our honeymoon we flew Delta. Our flight from LA was delayed by two hours, so we missed our Delta flight, along with about 20 other people. They put us up in a hotel so we could fly out at like 6am, with a flight that had another connection. We flew American when we were on our way to Norfolk and our connection was in DC. We sat around for 3 hours waiting for a maintenance issue to be fixed, only to have our flight cancelled for the next day. We were put up in a hotel at 11pm, and had to be up at 430. We ended up just getting a car and driving to BGW, which was our original plan. Our lesson learned was - less flights - less opportunity to get f*cked over. Whenever humanly possible we only fly direct. If we can fly direct and have to fly 4-5 hours to our final destination we also take that option. When you factor in layover time, flight time, time to de-plane, and luggage pickup time, we're usually only in the car for a couple extra hours, if that.

I'm a pretty big fan of people names for animals. My brother/sister in law named their dog Kevin, which they got a short time after we had Greg. Sam would be a good name for a cat.

Looks like another winner. I really don't know what else I would want from this park. I don't even care if the park gets a Giga. It would be a plus, but it will also take away my appreciation for Diamondback. -

Haha. It took a lot of work to get that picture. He doesn't sit still very often. His name is Greg. We chose that name, because we thought who the hell would name a dog Greg?

Sorry for the double post, but I'm curious if anyone noticed the crowd getting more rowdy as the park got closer to closing? This happened the last time we rode it out closer to the park closing. Eventually, we just called it a night after the park ran out of beer and when we were in line to grab a piece of pizza there were several douche teens that just walked right by everyone in the 20 minute line. We didn't wait for our pizza and I don't think getting into a confrontation with a bunch of early teenagers would have been a smart move. Last year we didn't have the option to find out what the park would be like near closing, since it poured rain from about 9pm to close. -

Many people forget to zipper the pockets on their shorts. Not going to lie. I've done that once or twice and was thankful that nothing fell out. -

Who cares. We're talking theme parks, not sports teams, so there's no definite "better." It's all what you prefer. -

It's their first year, so I'm sure SFGam will have a lot of room for improvement. I think our event is pretty impressive. I hope the Screaming Eagle is open when we go. -

A super classy tall boy of Coors Light... In the locker room before my hockey game. Heavy beers don't cut it when you're about to skate your ass off, but a little light liquid courage never hurt.
