  1. ^I would like to know how Behemoth kicks this rides a$$? It's not even built yet!
  2. I am really liking the looks of this new coaster! If it is anything like Nitro, it's going to be awesome. A big (215ft) steep (74 degree) first drop, lots of airtime hills, overbanked turn, 2 helixs, splash down. It should be a great ride. I hope I can get out there within the next few years to ride it.
  3. Talon today around 11:15. The ride was extra forceful today. Great ride! The park looked like it was going to be quite crowded today.
  4. ^Where are you getting this information from? That sounds awesome but I haven't heard this from anywhere else.
  5. ^I have heard the opposite about Mantis. I have heard that it has very strong G-forces and that your legs can become very tired from all the stress. I could be wrong since I have never ridden Mantis, but that is what I have read from multiple reports.
  6. ^^Well I believe SFGADV does make the most profit out of any Six Flags park in the chain. They have the highest attendance so if any park deserves a new coaster they do. If they can get even more people in by building a new coaster I could see them building one.
  7. I really think that dive machine track could go to SFGADV. They have opened up a big area by closing off the Old Country. Also, it would balance out the park with another major coaster on that side of the park. ^As for the Silverwood stand up, that sounds awesome. I would not expect it though as there have been no stand ups built by B&M in many years.
  8. ^That is very true I will not visit the park on a weekend during the summer as well. I will only visit on a saturday during May, September, and October as you also said. So I guess it's possible the crowds are alot different on weekends but I have never experienced that.
  9. I would defenitly choose Dorney. Dorney is right outside of Allentown which is a pretty rough city. Statistically Allentown is more dangerous that New York City but I have never felt unsafe at Dorney either. I live about 20 minutes away and I go all the time. It is very safe to be there IMO.
  10. My favorite Vekoma would be Sidewinder at Hersheypark. The ride really isn't that rough and it is a very intense ride throughout.
  11. The only reason I brought this up is because I read in a few trip reports (more than one) that El Toro was getting rougher. I have always thought it was super smooth and I wanted to make sure it still is. The only place I noticed anything was a little shuffle in the turn around but it lasted for about a second.
  12. Definitely Alpengeist at BGE. I was expecting an amazing coaster and the best inverted coaster ever. It was kind of forceful but it rattled pretty bad and it had bad headbanging. Throughout the cobra roll, the transition into the mcbr, and in the zero-g roll there was bad headbanging. It is still a great coaster don't get me wrong, but I was expecting far better. Talon still easily holds my favorite invert.
  13. Wow thank you guys for letting me know El Toro is still super smooth! That is great to hear since it's my all time favorite coaster and I want it to keep providing amazing rides. It is the second smoothest coaster I have been on right behind Griffon.
  14. $3.83 I believe I saw yesterday in Bethlehem PA.
  15. You are correct about anticipating the turns but I was refereing to how it rides. I have heard the coaster overall has been getting rougher. I remember the coaster riding smoother than most steel coasters. I have not ridden it this year but have the past 2 years. Is it still that way or is it getting rougher?
  16. To make it sound like something new would be my guess. It has awesome whip to it though. It reminds me of Batman the Ride's corkscrews, it's very intense.
  17. ^That is great to hear! I should be heading out there the 12th or the 13th. I'm just wondering, I have been hearing El Toro is getting rougher. Is that true?
  18. ^That is very true and/or it could be because El Toro has 12 more rows so there is greater pull on the last row.
  19. ^That's EXACTLY how I feel! I thought I would be the only one who thought that. I thought El Toro's drop had more forceful airtime than Fahrenheit's drop even though its 21 degrees less steep. I have ridden both in the very last seat also.
  20. You will probably be able to get Nitro, Batman, Medusa, El Toro, and maybe Ka in. It's a saturday in September so the crowds will be pretty light but don't expect walk ons. You will need more than 3-4 hours to get all the coasters in.
  21. You can definitely tell they are beyond vertical. They offer a sick moment of ejector airtime. It's an awesome feeling and everyone should experience it. On a drop like Kingda Ka there is not much airtime on the drop unless your in the back. In the last row I got ejector air all the way down! Also, I really didn't notice a HUGE difference in airtime on Storm Runner and Fahrenheit in the last row. Fahrenheit was just a little bit more intense, but not by much.
  22. Laser at Dorney Park. I rode it a few hours ago and it felt like it was running alot faster than usual. It was insane! It might be my last ride on it because we have no idea when it is coming down.
  23. Expedition GeForce looks amazing! I loved the photo where you said even the cloud is getting airtime. Great report!
