  1. Is it just me or does the second hill look rather tall compared to the first drop? The difference in height doesn't look that much different which will affect the amount of airtime. I know El Toro has about a 60 foot difference in the drop and the second hill, but I don't think this is anywhere near 60 feet.
  2. BRTeller I have a question for you. Since you seem to be the only person getting construction photo's of Fahrenheit, when will your next trip be? I really appreciate you taking the time to show everyone how the ride is coming along!
  3. Thanks for the update! I'm really looking forward to this ride for some reason.
  4. ^^I should also be there opening day depending on my baseball schedule. ^I have also never ridden an impulse coaster before so I am also looking forward to it. I'm trying not to have any expectations going in to ride it. I am doing this so I am not disappointed.
  5. Supports and track have finally gone vertical! http://www.dorneypark.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill_rides/voodoo/webcam.cfm It would look so much better if the weather wasn't so bad.
  6. Thanks for the update! This coaster is going to look so appealing when it is finished. Does anyone know which way is the drop going to face? Is it going to face Wildcat or the other way? I'm having a difficult time figuring that out by the pictures.
  7. I really hope Hershey doesn't get virtual que system. I really am not a fan of those things. They just make you wait longer in line if you don't have the money for them.
  8. I realize that, but it does look like you will get some nice airtime over the hill. It isn't very tall and it is right after the first drop, so you will hit it at full speed. I'm very excited for this ride!
  9. ^Yeah I'm not too sure what he means, but if he did mess up his list then he needs to email Mitch so he can fix it.
  10. ^^Just by looking at the curvature of the bridge, I sure there will be awesome floater airtime to be had.
  11. Everyone may now vote for their favorite steel coaster! But hurry up, get those votes in before February 20th. http://www.ushsho.com/bestrollercoasterpoll.htm
  12. The first and second drops are going to have such forceful airtime!
  13. I can see where you are getting that idea from and I agree, but there will be three cars on each train. This will make riding in the back a MUCH different experience. I can't wait to try out the back seat for that airtime!
  14. Awesome photos Chuck! I really want to get out west to try KBF sometime. Why was there a trash can in front of Xcelerator's entrance? Did Cedar Fair put too many in the park that they can only fit them in front of entrances now?
  15. ^Thanks for the update, the track looks great! I wasn't too sure about the support color at first, but now that I have seen it, it was an awesome choice. I think this coaster will be very visually appealing.
  16. I'm really looking forward to this coaster, it looks like it will be a great ride. I really hope my plans work out for this coming summer so I can ride it.
  17. It's always nice to see a trip report in the middle of the offseason. Nicely done! ^I am tentatively planing on heading out to the point either Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th or the following Monday and Tuesday of June. How will the crowds most likely be? Also how are lines around that time of year? Help much appreciated.
  18. I don't know if anyone else saw this but in the blog post, it says something about Halloweekends turning into a Haunt. I'm hoping for some new attractions and not just a name change.
  19. Dorney posted a new blog and about 20 new pictures the other day of Voodoo's progress. The trains are now on site and painted, some of the LIM pieces have arrived, and the sign that is being worked on looks awesome!
  20. I almost always wear my contacts when I go to amusement parks, so I don't have to worry about taking my glasses off. I don't understand why they wouldn't let you wear your glasses on Xcelerator if you had a strap. I have seen multiple people ride Kingda ka with a strap and the operators gave them the okay.
  21. This coaster should be done in no time! It's weird to see a mcbr without the catwalks. It just looks strange.
  22. ^ Awesome pictures, thanks a lot! These are the first pictures I have seen of the track. I hope they have most of the footings complete so they can start on the vertical construction.
  23. Comet always has a line and always will. I didn't even bother with it this year cause I didn't feel waiting the full que was worth the ride it delivers. On a side note. Does anyone know if Fahrenheit will have a separate load and unload station? Cause if it does, that could drastically increase dispatch times.
  24. ^ Well Griffon is 205 feet so it is over 200 feet. But I get what your saying, I really want a 250+ foot Dive Machine.
  25. I have only be on one Togo, Shockwave at Kings Dominion. I thought it was a decent ride nothing really special. Its not rough but not smooth either. I did have a decent first drop, loop, and airtime hill. The rest of the ride was just boring helixs.
