  1. Yeah I noticed that too about Eejanaika, it never seemed like it was about 250 feet tall. I always thought it was around 200 feet as well. Maybe it is just how the rides look in pictures.
  2. There is no way that ride is over 80 meters in height! It looks like its about 200 feet, not over 260 feet.
  3. I go to the park every year at least once and I would say this is the best way to go about doing it. Storm Runner Sidewinder Wildcat Wild Mouse Lightning Racer Trail Blazer Lunch Great Bear SooperDooperLooper Comet Then you can go hit Fahrenheit because the lines won't be getting much longer and it should only be about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. If you follow this you can be done all the way up to Lightning Racer by about 11-11:30. Make sure you arrive at the park at opening and you RUN to Storm Runner. I'm usually one of the first trains out of the day and I can get a second ride in within 5 minutes. Also, make sure you hit up the chocolate factory during the day.
  4. Goddamn this thing looks amazing! When I get older and get the money I need to get out there. I am speechless on how great this right looks!
  5. That ride looks like a piece of S***! I'm glad you survived it, it looks terrible!
  6. Steel: Storm Runner Nitro Griffon Wood: El Toro (overall favorite) Phoenix Lightning Racer (Lightning) As everyone can probably see I LOVE airtime.
  7. ^^That piece is just primmed. It will get painted yellow after the primmer is set.
  8. ^I don't see how different types of rides at different parks matters at all with color schemes. I mean the Wicked Twister, Voodoo comparison makes sense to me cause they are the same ride. Maybe Dorney chose this scheme because they liked how Wicked Twister looked.
  9. Yes go to guest relations fisrt. They will make you sign a guest log just as fitzmorrism stated, and then they give u a ticket to get in the park with. This is what they did when I visited Kings Dominion with my Dorney pass.
  10. There is a new blog post and pictures up on the Dorney website. They have a few pictures of the color of the supports! It is a tealish color. I really like the color they picked for the supports.
  11. Wow! They really need to get track up soon. I have faith in Hershey to get it done on time, but it seems like they might be a little behind on schedule. I understand Voodoo not having any track or supports up because there isn't much track, but Fahrenheit should have some supports up by now.
  12. ^Hershey probably just wanted to save a few bucks. I mean the video does show what the ride will be like and no one will really care about this video when there are real POV's Does anyone know how the ride is coming together?
  13. I think this is a great deal, so I told my parents about it and I might get a SFGADV pass for christmas. They thought it was a good deal so they might have got it for me. I really hope they did cause that would mean more El Toro, Nitro, Kingda Ka, and Medusa for me!
  14. ^If you look at picture 4 and 6 you can clearly see there is a little wall in front of the seats. Also, if you look in picture 5, you can see a black circle on the wall in front of the seat in the fifth and sixth row. I believe this is where the speakers will be.
  15. I would have to say Alpengeist is the most overrated coaster I have ever ridden. Don't get me wrong it was a great ride but it wasn't the amazing coaster a lot of people make it out to be. The ride was rough and wasn't that intense. I also rode it three times, once in the front, middle, and back, but it just didn't do it for me. Give me Talon any day over it.
  16. Thunderhawk at Dorney, built in 1923.
  17. Nice photo's man! It's great to have a trip report during the off season. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos.
  18. El Toro is the only coaster in the top 25 I have been on. I hope to change that in the future though.
  19. I am very pleased with the results. I believe The Voyage and El Toro deserve the top 2 spots no matter which one comes in first. As for next years poll I am very interested to see were T Express will place. I suppose I will have to wait a year.
  20. #1 Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Europe. #50 Shockwave at Kings Dominion. I hope to get my 100th credit in either 2009 or 2010.
  21. Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. I probably forgot to reread my post. I'll try not to let it happen again.
