  1. ^I could be wrong but I read somewhere that they were going to have two chains next to each other that lift the train. With there being two chains they don't need the anti-rollbacks. Again, this is just what I have read so I could be wrong.
  2. El Toro's airtime hill that goes over Rolling Thunder, and the two hills after the intial drop. All of these hills have ridiculous ejector airtime. Thunderhawk's second turnaround hill. The top of this hill in the front car of the train has awesome ejector airtime.
  3. I am pretty happy with the poll results this year, but I think a few coasters should have been a little higher. I feel Storm Runner should be in the top 15 and Talon should be in the top 50. This is just my opinion though.
  4. I drove by the park just about an hour ago and the front spike (the one with the twist) is being worked on. The track is just about vertical and is appears there are only 3 pieces of track left to be constructed. The ride does look a lot bigger in person. Dorney's skyline is just that much better now!
  5. Wow great pictures! This is going to be an awesome ride, I'm so excited!
  6. I believe the brake at the top is also there to slow the train down so riders can get a longer veiw.
  7. The airtime hill is in and it looks like it will offer some awesome ejector airtime. I can't wait for this thing to open is should be great! I'm thinking about making a trip on April 6th for Springtime in the Park. How are the lines for Storm Runner, Great Bear, and Lightning Racer during this event? It's not confirmed yet but I am just curious.
  8. Wow nice report! It's great to see a trip report in the offseason. Looks like you had the park to yourself. How did you like the coasters?
  9. WOW!!! That is going to be one of the best drops in the back row on any coaster, I cannot wait!
  10. ^Awesome picture! I really like how this ride is turning out!
  11. ^Most of the time all rides are station waits all day Monday-Thursday. Weekends do get busy, but the lines are not outrageous. This coaster looks very impressive!
  12. Thanks for all the updates NewsPlusNotes, I really appreciate you taking the time to take pictures to let us know how the construction is going. I check your blog almost everyday for new updates as you are great with updating daily. Thank you very much!
  13. ^Thanks for the link! It's the usual cheesy report for a new ride, but it's nice to see it. It seems like this ride will be up in no time. My guess is within the next 2-3 weeks track work will be complete.
  14. ^Apollo's Chariot also has uphill trims, but they really don't affect the ride that much. There is still nice air on the top of the hill. Nitro has trims in the valley's before and after the third hill, but these trims only "kiss" the train. You can not tell a difference in speed. This is what I am hoping Behemoth's trims will be like if they are used.
  15. ^Sounds exactly what I thought the element would be like. I'm really excited for this ride, but I don't know when I will get to ride it yet. Probably sometime in August.
  16. ^I think it's going to be an awesome element. It appears there will be airtime at both ends of it and strong positive g's and the bottom of the element.
  17. I completely agree with you on that one! Griffon is the smoothest coaster I have ever been on.
  18. Happy birthday TPR! I really appreciate what you guys have done and I always have a blast when I visit the website!
  19. Flitzer at Morey's Piers in Wildwood. I wasn't too upset cause I really enjoyed myself while I was there and I'm sure I will be back with the wooden coaster rumor.
  20. I wouldn't say hydra is rough, I would say it has a rattle. The rattle is common on B&M's, but I wouldn't say they are rough. Anyway, I am sure Behemoth will be smooth.
  21. You bring up a very good point coastercrazed49, because I too would like to go on these trips once I am older and have the money. Right now my parents won't give me the money for the trips. So, when once I graduate and have the money I would like to go on these trips.
  22. Awesome trip report man, you take really great pictures! My personal favorite was the picture of Dominator's drop. Keep up the good work!
  23. Confirmed: Dorney Park more than 10x Hershey Park at least 2x Six Great Adventure at least 2x Knoebels 1x Very Likely but not yet Confirmed: Waldameer 1 day Cedar Point 2-3 days Kennywood 1 day
