Cruising with Theme Park Review!
WillMontu replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think I've figured out why they haven't put a coaster on a ship. ACErs - Not only would they terrorize the buffet, but they would probably sink the ship too. -
Balder Rita - Queen of ____ Julie Alvey Lou Alvey (do you want her to be a HCPS?) I noticed some people suggested Katrina. I don't think that would be a good idea after the hurricane (though anything that submerges Vekoma rides is fine by me) Catrina might work better

Kiddie Coasters

Also, tunnels also count as credits, and it depends on the time of day -
Launch day is near! PS3/Wii-kend Launches.

We had a few people camping out at our Target. According to the AP people, they had been out the night before as well. Over at Best Buy the situation was similar, only the line was longer and the people had tents. I'll probably pass on the PS3 ($600 could buy you a decent gaming PC). Maybe the Wii or the 360, but I'll wait for the prices to drop a bit first and my finances to stabilize. -
Kiddie Coasters

Also keep in mind that people like Jeff Johnson count each circuit as a credit -

I agree with Disney not building a thrill park. Look at what Six Flags has done. They are struggling to attract families (who are the ones that bring in the profit)

CPU: I'm partial to AMD Video: nVIDIA is my personal choice OS Depends what you want to do. For most cases, just go with XP Pro I have XP x64 on my desktop, but I don't think it's ready for mainstream with the number of programs that run on it (or rather, lack thereof) Lightscribe You probably won't need it. A Sharpie will do just fine

What about Gwazi? I thought of doing something like that back when everyone was posting MS Paint TR's, except that now I have a camera that I can take to parks and I didn't feel like making stuff up (since I have no creativity whatsoever). -
I remember somebody posting a video of ACErs on TTD. They fit, but the train rolled back

The Adventures of Yeti Ball in the UK!

Is that the lollipop from Coney Beach? I thought Barry took it into the loo with him -
The Adventures of Yeti Ball in the UK!
WillMontu replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Actually, our bus was cooler than that one, a bit more streamlined. Any sightings of Nigel? Is Yeti Ball going to get any credits? Maybe a giant SLC or two? -
New Photoshop Contest!

^^ Killing donkeys = not cool ^You have a few typos in that It should read: "Feature length article about the UK's favourite rollercoaster" or "Feature length article about the UK's favorite roller coaster" -
I think this thread is kind of pointless (and I am notorious for killing threads without having them closed) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/November_8

That would make a good way for NASA to get extra funding. Sell tickets for the ride, T-shirts, on-ride photos, the works! I wouldn't be surprised if Intamin was involved in this, as they have a history of killing people too.

Happy Birthday CaseyFish!

I used to be terrified of thunder and lightning, but after moving to Florida, where storms occur daily during the summer season (we have two seasons in Florida, Tourist Season and Snowbird Season), I quite enjoy it, except when lightning strikes really close and knocks out the power

I've still got more to post to this. I've got the rest of Liseberg, some of London, and other bits and pieces. I've started posting the images at lower resolutions as I don't want to fill up a single page with ten of my posts all containing large images No caption It doesn't matter where you sit, there's air in every seat It looks like they have a third train too This is what ERT is all about, even with the second train removed Airtime on every hill The drop doesn't look very steep Shot of Kanonen from Balder's lift It's got more steel in it than a regular woodie, but it's got more wood in it too The lines for ERT were so short that they actually removed a train from the track Riding Kanonen meant pulling ourselves away from Balder for five minutes The low capacity of the Cherry Picker Ride meant that many us didn't get to ride Hi Joe! The lift is steep for a woodie Exclusive transfer track shot! Any coaster geek would recognize these coasters Instead he went looking for more beer A nice touch. Hopefully Barry didn't use it Here's one for the Robb fanboys/fangirls out there They were testing the ride while we were still working on it. What ever happened to Sweden's "Zero Vision" initiative? So who was it that impregnated Elissa anyway? Hammers, nails, and Sharpies! Robb + hammer + beer = Bad idea! "The Intamin Curse hit us and we need your help putting this ride back together" Who wants breakfast? Welcome to Liseberg This is the house within the ride's structure, built as a tribute to Bakken We had ERT on three rides, Balder, Kanonen, and the Cherry Picker ride Can you find Several A-holes? A Plopp sign? A Banana? Shockwave? An Intamin Rocket? Joe? With or without a Michael Jackson star, anything goes in Europe Wacko Jacko had one too Good old Al had a star here Liseberg is in an urban setting, and within walking distance of the hotel The hotel we stayed at was interesting. For one thing, our room keys were actually keys, and there was also this creepy elevator. I think I'd rather ride ToT at MGM

I hope not, though Elissa does love SLC's I think Balder, as she loves Balder more than rodents, and possibly Robb.
