3 Facts Name That Coaster!
WillMontu replied to kennywood!007's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I was thinking of a Schwarzkopf shuttle, but they technically have two inversions (though just one loop) -
Congratulations! Are you registered at Target? What is the kid's first credit going to be? How about that ride in Japan with the baby seat? And for a few years you won't have to 'borrow' kids to get on the kiddie rides

It has to be Joe. He's filing papers!

The adventure of Lil' Robby Robb

All the pictures are showing "messed up" for me. Is anyone else having the same problem? -
The "Report Post" Button
WillMontu replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm sure it's something that we can get used to. If you accidentally hit the report button, you can simply use the back button. -
I didn't get into prgramming until I was 11, when my dad brought home a copy of Visual Basic 3.0. My first programs were very bloated with lots of colors and flashing graphics, and didn't do very much at all. Later on, my programs became a bit more practical I still remember leaving home. I had a dorm room to myself, but I had phone, cable, and Internet (and a brother on the other side of town, who had started two years earlier than me). Now I'm trying to buy a house

The "Report Post" Button
WillMontu replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think it would probably be okay to reply to a thread that a spammer posts to, as long as we ignore the spam post and contribute to the thread as if it wasn't there. As for "spam threads" (threads started by a spammer), they should not be posted to at all. -

Happy Birthday Derek I don't have a cake, or beer for that matter. Will a vertical loop be sufficient?

The spam posts I mentioned had been deleted. How about adding an "E-mail Dan" button next? -
The "Report Post" Button

There are several spam threads in the forums right now and I reported three of them some time ago, except not much seems to be happening. Also, has anyone else had trouble with scrolling over to fill in a comment using Firefox? -
The Intamin Woodie difference (pics)
WillMontu replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The "Intamin Fart" is a common trait among all the pre-fab woodies for when the trains ride the upstop wheels over the hills. Balder was very smooth even after several years -
Found a version of the episode online. Kind of funny how Homer jumps into the car and pulls a lever in the station to dispatch the train and that Marge climbs over the coaster attempting to repair the "track", which doesn't make room for upstop wheels (maybe it's a side-friction with an inversion!) http://www.allsimps.com/index.php?season=18 And we all know that while Robb and Elissa didn't marry on Colossus, they did propose on it

Everyone has a way of counting credits. On one end of the spectrum is Jeff Johnson, who counts everything as a credit, and on the other hand are people who only count traditional coasters It is up to you to count Relocated coasters Dueling/racing/mobius racing coasters Water coasters Powered coasters Kiddie coasters Multiple installations of the same ride (ie. Batman, Primeval Whirl) Transformed coasters (ie. modified track, new trains) Edit: 700th post!

Photo TR: HHN Construction--Another Update
WillMontu replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^ I was there to pay for gas. See my TR but I guess I'm not cool enough for people to read my TR's. We still need to get the Old Town credits though Carlos - The ride-ops on the Ice side of the Dragons recognized out TPR shirts and almost denied us riding -
Photo TR: Quest for the missing credits
WillMontu replied to WillMontu's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Part 2 - Sea World and Old Town There is also a Dragon Wagon, but we ended up just going home instead. This one does not appear to be powered, so it counts! Credit denied! Next stop was Old Town to get the Windstorm credit We went back to Kraken for a front-seat ride, and the line had shortened significantly with the second train The aquarium in the flood. What would happen if too many ACErs stood on it? Part of the "coaster" part of Journey to Atlantis. Kraken's eggs. We couldn't reach them We'll just test it with this ride-op and if he survives, the train's okay One of the ride ops told us initially that the other trains were being repaired. If it's not repaired yet, why are they bringing it out? OMG! There's track missing! We were on the next train when the train stalled on the brake run, leaving riders out in the heat. "Sorry, but your stuffed animal is not allowed to ride" "But they can do it in RCT" The queue Capacity on Kraken was terrible today. They had 2-3 ride-ops and a single train If Robb was a donkey... The Clydesdales were out today The long train New credit! I haven't been to SeaWorld in a few years Besides the fact that my fries were cold, this was actually quite nice for a McDonalds I wanted to go to Burger King for lunch, but Elissa's favorite place will do -
I went down to Orlando today with Erik Johnson to get some of the credits in Orlando I missed. More pictures to come. A lot of parks in the southeast are TPR approved. Donkey was here today for some photo ops. He had a lot of fans though, so we didn't want to wait. Another bad shot of me. I'm not good at posing for the camera It's closing soon, but not worth the 35 minute wait. What happened to the time capsule? The "second gate" of Universal Studios Just like some coasters though, it needs some maintenance They've still got that coaster simulator arcade game. Anyone recognize that SLC? We got a lot done in a few hours I had never ridden this ride before. In the Florida heat, it was fun to intentionally get a bit wet The ride has a switch track, so it could either be a mobius or a dual track. How many credits is this Jeff? Never before seen angle of Hulk It's no Peoplemover/TTA, but it's still a fun ride The Seuss Sky Trolley finally opened after six years of being dormant Erik does his mandatory menu check Who's paying them to do this? IOA almost has as many trash cans as a Cedar Fair park. The difference? They are well themed so they don't stand out The Dragons are looking good now with the paint job and the clean-up Most of the effects were working today First to ride JP today. We had the boat to ourselves, never mind the stupid look on my face Upon exiting the ride, we were told by a ride-op that "this is a kid's ride" though they had no problems with us riding at that time of day. One small coaster for an enthusiast, one giant CHA-CHING for a credit whore! Erik and I both got this coveted credit, and we did not have to "borrow" kids to do so At 8:55, the back of the park still wasn't open, so we took a quick ride on Spiderman, which was a walk-on, even through the regular queue Hi Derek First park of the day, IOA Time: 8:45 Of course, I end up paying for the gas! The day starts out with Erik filling up the tank.

Richard "Hamster" Hammond suffers brain injury
WillMontu replied to Shockwave's topic in Random, Random, Random
I watch it when it's on Discovery Channel. I like the British version, and would prefer it over an American version, especially with the British humor.
