  1. Liseberg - Nice park. Good setting, fun rides, even the LiseJoeBanana Balder - It's got airtime, it farts, and it has a house under it.
  2. Anyone know where this one is going? Is it still standing? Maybe we could buy it for TPR Heros in a half shell - TURTLE POWER!
  3. Your school looks much nicer than my high school did. My high school was like a prison, inside and out. At least they got rid of the portables. I took my camera to school several times, but I only used it for photography class and school newspaper. The discipline there was strict.
  4. I still have Liseberg to post (along with a few other things, such as some exclusive Elissa Bingo pictures), but due to the response (or rather, lack thereof) to this TR, I want to know if anyone wants me to post them.
  5. Did any of you pound it with the Ryan impersonator?
  6. I remember reading that from a certain coaster site And just another question, is Dave's Dominion still open? I haven't posted to RRC in years
  7. If you purchased NL within the last few weeks, you get the upgrade for free. If you have had the full version for a while, you can get the upgrade for half-price. If you don't have a registered copy (or are one of those sad and pathetic losers who have an illegal copy), you need to pay full price $30. Check your email for more details.
  8. Either Robb has grown, or the Disney World castle has shrunk to the Disneyland castle size
  9. Here's a pic of the old trains for comparison http://www.joyrides.com/las_vegas/manhattan_express8.htm And to add to the pain, they have a Pepsi sponsorship They should have just called it the Togo Death Machine at NYNY
  10. I got the e-mail and I'm installing the new version right now. I'll check it out and possibly post some screenshots. You can order and download it from http://www.nolimitscoaster.com/Order/order.html if you do not have the old version. If you already have a copy, they should send you an e-mail with the link.
  11. That last one cracked me up!
  12. Here in FL we have a Publix on almost every street corner, more so than McDonalds, and they're all busy, more so than Albertsons, Winn Dixie, and Kash'n'Karry. There's even one just down the street that looks almost identical to the one in your photo. So Joe, was shopping a pleasure? Oh, and back on topic, I don't drink either Coke or Pepsi (though I prefer Coke products)
  13. I hate those annoying "I'm a PC. I'm a Mac" commercials. There's even one saying that hardware will work more easily with a Macintosh but not with a PC. Quite the opposite actually (although it may have narrowed a bit with Boot Camp, so that Mac users can install Windows if they need to). The "switch" commercials were bad enough. I can tolerate most other commercials, unless they play more often then necessary.
  14. ^ Looks like you still do I'm an Aspie (and I kind of suspect that Barry is too, but I get lonely a lot) I'm getting a Master's degree I still don't drive yet, so I get Erik Johnson to give me rides to parks I'm into photography (though I can't afford a SLR) and have worked in a one-hour photo lab. I made one of the first RCT pages (before Danimation's glory days, before NE, before RCT Station.) It's still online, though I don't update it much)
  15. There is still hope. Assuming you use XP Professional (instead of XP home), try this. Just because you have a password doesn't mean that your stuff is encrypted. If you still have trouble, you may want to try sending me a Remote Assistance request (I promise I won't break anything) Select the "Owner" tab and set the owner to be Administrators, and make sure the check box is checked. Hit Apply, and this should (hopefully) unlock your stuff. When you disable Simple File Sharing, you should get a "Security" tab on the folder you are trying to get to. Click on the Advanced button From any Explorer window, click Tools menu and select Folder Options. Select the view tab, and uncheck the "Use Simple File Sharing" item at the bottom of the list.
  16. I recall King Soloman's Mines and possibly Cyclone having signs indicating each as "National Historic Marker". Does this have any effect on whether the rides are saved or not, knowing the UK is strict about "listed buildings" Where are we going to go now for: A pizza/pasta buffet The best named SLC anywhere The flavoured condom vending machines Bill's first S&S tower Racing coin-op trains The Dinosaur ride The Wacky Worm with a tongue stud A woodie with a crooked lift hill The blue water fountain (a departure from the green water in most of the log flumes we went on in the UK) The funhouse, complete with death rides and even a donkey
  17. They should still be there under the Documents and Settings folder. You may need to "unlock" it by setting yourself as the owner, but they should still all be there.
  18. Happy Birthday. Does that make you old enough to drink, or does the Torah not allow that?
  19. First we're losing the Screw Coaster and now Python is facing a similar fate. I got to ride it with Erik Johnson last weekend, and took a few pictures and a little bit of video. When we got to the ride, it was closed due to the rain, but we were on the second train out when it opened back up. Anyone here want to work on a Python tribute video?
  20. Bump - Are you going to do this for September?
  21. Here in north central Florida, we've had a little bit of a sprinkle, but not much else. The afternoon T-storms can do better than that. We haven't had any storm related power outages since Frances and Jeanne back in 2004 Edit: 666th post!
  22. There's actually a topic about the Weird Al song http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28396
  23. ^Acually it was Erik who "accidentally" tore Python off the map
  24. I remember someone posting about it, being called Latin Fiesta. Can you post a link to your find?
  25. Nice job! Good stuff -The editing -The "stunts" Not so good stuff -The "crying" scene seemed to drag on a little bit. -We need a POV of the Vekoma Box Coaster. Robb might lend you his lipstick cam.
