  1. ^I never got to experience mission 1 but I did enjoy the theming and queue for 2. How do they compare?
  2. ^I didn't think Thunderhawk was bad. Just kind of ruined by that trim near the end. On my first ride it wasn't working and I got some really good air (enhanced by those buzz bars) although on my second it kicked in and I got nearly nothing.
  3. Sweet! I love how the Immelmann looks, especially from this angle!
  4. No, I've actually heard that Millennium Force was supposed to be removed for the world's tallest knock-off Boomerang. How about that?
  5. At least from the ones I've seen so far (not that many really), yup.
  6. ^That's true, I'll admit. Having those lap bars sitting so far down your leg not only gives you a lot of freedom but it also makes it scarier. When I first lowered it I though: Is this what's going to hold me during extreme ejector? Having said that, I would rather have a little less freedom (which doesn't even have to happen) and more comfort.
  7. That's what sometimes happens to some B&M inverts (like BTR clones). They are really smooth but because of the fast snappy transitions some call them "rough".
  8. I was watching a POV of Abismo and, as there is no Parque Atracciones de Madrid thread yet, I thought I would ask this here: does anyone know if anything has been done to silence it? On the TPR video it seems to be a bit loud while when I went there it was pretty quiet. Just curious.
  9. These trains on the world's oldest steel coaster were rather interesting. Especially the restraints
  10. aaaa.... No wait? What's better than no waits for all CP rides?
  11. Sidewinder Intamin inverted coaster.
  12. The NJ state is not helping at all but shouldn't the park have confirmed they could operate them at the same time before they built it?
  13. Only if skyrush had those restraints ......
  14. ^Well you were lucky. I once missed a kingda ka major breakdown (in 2011) by a day
  15. No. I think you missed one
  16. ^I heard it was because the water wasn't in the best "conditions". Is that right? Once more, nice update.
  17. All of Twister is a lateral fest. It compliments Phoenix perfectly in my opinion and is a really underrated coaster. Personally I'm not usually a fan of wood coasters that throw you around but I think Twister perfectly walks the line between throwing you around and being rough. It's an insane, awesome out of control ride that's still not the slightest bit rough and is very re-rideable. If this ride were it a corporate park it's a guarantee that it would be a brutal ride but Knoebels has no problem spending whatever money they need every offseason to keep Phoenix and Twister awesome. Every time you go you see a ton of new wood on both rides. It's good to see they take care of these coasters. All the woodies I've ridden were at big corporate parks and you could tell some of them weren't that well kept. I guess that's what leads the GP to say they are generally rough (and I don't blame them that much given some of those rides at bigger parks)
  18. Me too. I'm just glad to know they won't be stuck with the red/orange forever. Hopefully colossus won't be an exception.
  19. A bit more than six flags
  20. Haven't been there. But I'd say SFGAdv is the best. The person below has been stuck on a lift/MCBR
  21. A year ago. When was the last time you visited a six flags park?
