You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

You use what you learn in your drawing classes to draw coaster parts. -
I'm sorry but serious question people have been joking about the bolts but I'm actually wondering what happens to the can someone enlighten me? Nothing. The wheels will not hit the bolts. The trains don't move enough side-to-side for that to happen. Are the bolts still on the track when the coaster runs? Yes. The wheels will not hit them as they run in the middle.

Has anyone seen this? (found it on Coasterfriends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R897ulqjceA -
yolo could be so much better if a. the train didn't take so long to get back to the station from the block brake, or b. they unloaded there. by the time the riders are out of the train, the other is already back. plus, the seat belts that were added and having to wait for the operators to lower the lap bar, extend the time waiting now. Or if it had Xcelerator-esque overbanks after the top hat. Aw well. Or better: an 8 shaped skyrush bit with the airtime hills-low fast turns combo.

^Oh, ok. Sorry -
^Haha. I remember when I rode shambhala with a couple of friends one of them said: I thought you were going to lose you hands in the tunnel. (as I had them up) I like to do these with both my hands up and legs stretched. It enhances the freefall feeling.

Favorite coaster cars/trains or ride vehicles

In terms of the way they look, I guess wing coasters are quite good. Comfort wise (and the way they ride), I quite like floorless trains -
Haven't experienced a Gerstlauer dive loop yet but I think it gives some strong airtime during the upward twist, kind of like how RMC put unexpected airtime on the twists. That's what I assumed. Especially with lapbars (although saw looks like the one that throws you into the twist the fastest)

^Is there actually a 10 degrees difference? That's quite a lot (and I had no idea) -

Wow those transitions on desperado look, well..... Hadn't arrow already stopped using coat-hangers then? It's hard to believe this ride opened a year after coasters like kumba. -

^On the newer ones (particularly hypers as they have faster lifts) it is easier to tell. -

I didn't find steel force anything special but it was fun. On all of my rides I got some air on the hills back to the station, making them my favourite part. Maybe the MCBR was harder this time. Quite a few B&Ms (especially the newer ones) do it. It's quite subtle but it can be felt. -

90? Do you mean more? Because 90 wouldn't really be a helix. Behemoth's is 540. If that is right, not bad (at least a helix more than krake) -
Best Drop Ride!!!

^Yes, that one is awesome. I recently rode the intmain 2nd gen one at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid and it was surprisingly good: very nice "freefall" sensation. -
That's why it annoys me. If it wasn't for the pain it gave me during the airtime moments I would have kept my hands up all the time. Actually during my 5 or 6 rides last year a few of them were 100% hands up and the others were hands on the restraints during the hills to avoid pain. What I mena is this is the ride (due to its intensity) that makes me want to have my hands up the most and at the same time in order to have a reasonably comfortable ride you have (at least I did) to hold on. That's the problem for me: I can't enjoy it as much as I want due to the pain if I don't hold on or the fact that I'm holding on. That being said, it's still a one of a kind ride. It's the only one where I really felt I had no control of what was happening and it has it all: great negatives; great positives (5g?) and awesome transitions.

Great! Anyone knows the in which they will put the pieces? (perhaps similar to leviathan) -
Nice! It seems that everyone really likes the dive loop on karacho. By the way, did the hill after the loop provide any air? It's kind of hard to judge from POVs but it almost looks like it does nothing.
